Beautiful hotel, excellent location, great breakfast, friendly staff
Beautiful place. When the day-tourists arrive it becomes a bit crowded. In general it is a tourist place. Souvenir shops with overpriced ceramics and other useless items. There are some nice restaurants.
It is very difficult to get to and from Ravello with public transportation. Taxis in Amalfi charged 100 euro to go to Ravello, pure robbery. The bus takes 1½ hours from Amalfi and doesn't go often. You can walk down to Minori and Amalfi. Takes 45-60 minutes depending on fitness level. Walking up is also possible, but quite hard for the average person.

Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing views, stunning grounds and beautiful rooms. More like a bed and breakfast, Salvatore the manager is the absolute best! He contacted us before we arrived to give some details and welcome us, took the information of our car service and was in touch with the driver while we were on route. He saw that we had everything we could possibly need. Showed us around the Villa property, brought us up to the square, to show us around and just made us feel like family. I highly recommend this beautiful place! We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying here again.

Ravello is beautiful.
Ravello is beautiful. It is located way up a winding road high above the Amalfi with spectacular views over Amalfi & Minori , Majori. The Old town is authentic with excellent accommodation choices, numerous shops, excellent restaurants & cafes of which many have stunning views. There are 2 Wonderful world renowned gardens , Villa Cimbrone & Villa Rufolo open to the public . It is much quieter & far enough away from the overwhelming tourist towns on the coast but it is possible to catch a local bus or expensive taxi down the hill to the Amalfi port and catch a ferry to other coastal ( busy ) tourist towns , Positano etc . I would recommend spending at least 3 days/ nights in Ravello to enjoy the amazing location & atmosphere. Mark & partner spent 5 Fantastic days & nights in late September early October 2023 . The weather was perfect, warm sun days and beautiful balmy evenings. Ciao Mark .

Ravello is on the Amalfi Coast without all the craziness.
Ravello is on the Amalfi Coast without all the craziness. We did not bother to go to Amalfi as we had already been there before and plus once we stayed here there was no need to go anywhere as there was so much to see and do. There are beaches, Villas/Gardens, Restaurants that are 5 Star without the inflated prices. Ravello is a famous place where Musicians, Artists, Actors, Royals etc have visited and fallen in love with as we certainly did. It is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and seen. There is public transport for those that want to go to Amalfi and other places plus their Taxi Service is amazing and really well prices. This is a MUST visit for anyone coming to Italy. Sunsets, Sunrises, views overlooking the ocean where you will see Cruise Ships and boats. You will never tire of the views that are on both sides. Day and night this place is amazing.

Ravello was lovely and easy access to Amalfi coast.
Ravello was lovely and easy access to Amalfi coast. Car was essential for us as we stayed 10 days. Lots to see, Italian drivers are awful and roads chaotic, but enjoy the beautiful scenery everywhere. Accommodation was excellent.
Very clean, stylish, large and comfortable room.
Large comfortable bed.
Nice breakfast, typical for Italy, especially we liked the large fruit plate.
Large comfortable bathroom.
Perfect location - there is a bus stop right next to the hotel, you can walk to the center of Ravello in 1-2 minutes, the villas are also close by.
We traveled by car and left in the garage next to the hotel, which was very convenient.
Friendly staff.
Beautiful tableware.
Large balcony with a beautiful view (but there is one tricky point about it).
Breathtaking views from the room, free parking was super convenient and breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy. Don't expect a typical and very rich mediterranean breakfast you would see in countries like Türkiye where you would have a variety of cheeses and olives and jams and jellies and breads and eggs and proteins and tomatoes and cucumbers and vegetables and several diet options, but the breakfast in this hotel was definitely one of the best compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy.
Firstly we would like to thank the hotel reception staff for being so accommodating when we twice needed to change our dates due to the pandemic. Our friends wedding was in Ravello and was cancelled twice due to travel restrictions but Hotel Graal were very understanding. The view is stunning at the hotel and the food great. We had a lovely evening meal with spectacular views. We really liked the location too, ideally situated for public transport and a 2 minute walk to the main square.
Amazing view from our balcony and the dining room. The food in the restaurant was exquisite, best steak and pasta I've ever tasted. Great location with a very short walk to the piazza. Parking in Italy is expensive and very difficult but this hotel made it easy. Our beds were very comfy and I slept like a log. Receptionist guided us by phone at one point when the road to Amalfi was closed and we were lost. We loved Ravello and the hotel.
This hotel took their COVID cleanliness seriously and we felt very safe here. The location is great and close to the Ravello town (easy 10 minute walk, they also offer a shuttle). All of the staff members were incredibly helpful whether it was arranging taxis, providing recommendations or assisting us with breakfast. Rooms were larger than expected and very quiet with jaw dropping views. The pool area was great as well!
The property was incredible convenient for the centre of Ravello. A 2 minute walk brings you to the square. Most hotel accommodation in the area required walking up and down quite step paths in a mostly pedestrianize area so Il Cortile is perfect for older travelers or those with physically difficulties. Plus the owner was lovely and incredible accommodating. Wish I could have stayed longer.
We loved the at home feel of the B&B. The view was wonderful, easy walk to Ravello and loved that the mini fridge was stocked so we could enjoy the beautiful view with a cocktail. the best part of the place was the owner, Guiseppe! He puts his heart and soul into the place and it shows. He even personally provided shuttle service for us for a reasonable fee.
We found this place very convenient for a family stay and wedding in Ravello. Location was excellent. Yes there is a bit of a walk to Ravello from the hotel, but we are a middle aged couple and did not struggle, even with a baby. Lovely view.
There is a bus that runs just outside if you do not wish to walk.
There is amble parking roadside.
Breakdast-amazing kept me full for the day!
Rooms - Modern and Spotless in terms of cleanliness
Location-Amazing views. 20 mins path trail upto hotel from Sita bus stop but views are breathtaking (Local shuttle also operates -Mini Van for the ravello community)
Host- Super accommodating and makes you feel at ease for the stay
This property is literally OVER THE TOP… Of both breathtaking views and rolling waves. The property itself is situated at the bottom of the town of Ravello just above the Salerno Bay. You get the best of both the incredible views of twinkling lights of Ravello, Minori and Maori and being able to jump into the refreshing ocean.
The location was so beautiful perched on the cliff and seaside! Beautiful views and the staff were honestly the best part- so helpful and friendly, above & beyond. I will for sure revisit this spot as well as let all my friends and family know if they visit Italy- they MUST come stay here and appreciate the beauty.
This was probably one of the best places we stayed in during our 3 week stay in Italy . Danielle is a great and responsive host who can assist with almost anything . The apartment was spotlessly clean, well located had an outstanding view .
The location was incredibly amazing, and Ravello became one of my favorite town in Italy. We were very welcomed by the family, and the room was super clean with a nice view. Well-rested, and I regret not taking the home made wine with us!
On the main square, so incredibly convenient for all of Ravello's attractions. My granddaughter loved the fact that there were 4 cafes to go to as soon as you left the hotel. Despite this the room was nice and quiet.
Hotel Giordano was centrally located in Ravello with an excellent pool. The best part was the staff at the front desk. There are not enough words to describe how helpful and courteous they were.
Ravello is beautiful and this hotel was even more beautiful. Excellent room size with kitchen and table. Bathroom tub was excellent (for 1 person) and attention was really good
The location is excellent, close to the piazza Duomo. It’s right next to Villa Rufolo and hotel Rufolo. The property has very good swimming pool and the view is amazing.
The bed and breakfast is located in a perfect location in Ravello, just across the bus stop and with fantastic views. There's also a great little cafe down the street.
