Beautiful and tastefully decorated place, I loved the butterflyes on the wall, the room was comfortable. Paolo is a extremely friendly and made the place like you are at home. I was travelling with my sister, and we stayed here for six nights and travelled to a few sities around Bari. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone!
Breakfast was nice, owner/manager very friendly. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was nice. It was only about 10 minutes to the station, so handy for that.
I didn't like the fact that the rooms are close together (it is a flat, after all), and that you could hear conversations etc. going on. The name of the B&B should be on the building (it is not advertised, except the name is on the door bell), and there should be a sign inside the foyer that says the B&B is on the 2nd floor. It was confusing!
Excellent and very pleasant service
Friendly staff, elegant vintage furnishings, comfortable room, good pastries, fruits and excellent cappuccino at breakfast.
Bathroom was a little bit small. I booked a room with a balcony and when I arrived I was given the only one with no balcony.
The rooms are big, clean and with very stylish furniture. The staff was attentive, polite and professional. I had booked 4 rooms in this B&B, and for some friends that were attending my wedding and numerous other rooms in other B&B: for the same price range, CASA DEI VENTI was for sure the best option.
Friendly Owner Vintage design Nice breakfast beautiful rooms
Located in an old building not far from the railway station. Less than 15 minutes walk to the old city. Large and comfortable rooms, well equipped. Paolo (the owner) is very friendly person.
Since Paolo (the owner) doesn't live there, exact arrival time has to be known and negotiated in advance. Breakfast is quite basic.
stylish decoration, but the shower curtain is not so good
This B&B is in a big old building, so that there is a neighboring apartment which house a young fellow who play loud rock music at night, and continue speaking loudly till midnight. There is no way for me to complain as the staff is not in the venue. It is important to improve the sound proof or else stay somewhere else. I cannot understand why such a nice place get ruined by these inconsiderate neighbors.
Very good place
The place had character. Breakfast was very good and it was the first place in 2 weeks of travel in Italy that offered us "American coffee" instead of just espresso drinks. Good location. Easy to walk to places of interest. Paolo was very helpful and pleasant and recommended a great restaurant: Biancofiore.
The room was dark if the shutters to the balcony were closed. Not enough lighting inside.
The room is clean, and the boss is nice. However, the noise is a little high.
In the centre of Bari, near main shops and station. Good breakfast Italian style.
Difficult if arriving by car , have to double park to unload and use garage parking. The room was nicely decorated but not to our taste . It was purple and black and as there was no central light was very dark and so impossible to read anything.
VERY CLEAN ROOM, SPACE , BIG BED , LOVELY AND VERY HELPFUL OWNER
OUTSIDE IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A HOTEL. IT IS IN THE SECOND FLOOR
Location, near train station, walking distance of the Old Town, interesting building, friendly and helpful host, comfortable beds.
traffic noise at night, broken outside shutter to one window,
The location is in between the train station and the old town. Easy walk to either of them.
The noise from the street kept me awake till late at night. Not much option for breakfast.
Friendly staff, large room, clean and comfortable room
Excellent host with lots of information on getting around the area. Well furnished room and good breakfast. Well positioned for Bari itself and for travel to other places.
Second time in Casa Dei Venti, Paolo (owner) was again great help for discovering the city and surroundings.
Lots of choice at breakfast. Unusual décor making it very cosy and homely
Very tiny room right on the corner by traffic lights so very noisy (Room 3). I would stay gain if I could have a different room
Casa Dei Venti is a short, 10-minute walk from the central train station in Bari. It was easy to find, and guest services was waiting for us upon arrival. Paolo greeted us with a warm smile and showed us to our delightful room, complete with a small balcony overlooking the bustling street below. The room was tastefully decorated in charming purple tones and was quite comfortable. Each morning, Paolo served a cold breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, toast, freshly squeezed juices, coffee, and tea. He was extremely friendly and gave us suggestions of sites to visit, along with directions to each site. I was travelling with my mother, and we stayed here for two nights prior to sailing out on a cruise. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone!
Host was excellent. We were able to leave our luggage to collect later, also suggested an excellent Osteria at which to eat. .Very comfortable bed and it had a top sheet. Good breakfast and convivial feel at breakfast.
Location good for access to train station and shops but very noisy in street outside until quite late. Not sure if this was just our room or all rooms.
Paolo is an excellent host and really made our stay in Bari a great experience. He gave us all tips and orientation about all we needed. Congratulations to Casa dei Venti! We will return.
The manager was very helpful. The room and breakfast were quaint.
The owner was very welcoming. The room was immaculate and designed very well. The breakfast is sweet pastries, brownies, fruit salad and yogurt, all delicious. When the Wifi stopped working, the owner arrived within 15 mins and fixed it which was fantastic. Yes, it is a bit noisey but it is in the centre of city so to expected, closing the shutters and curtains soon helped minimise the noise.
Being really picky the room is quite dark and the bathroom mirror lighting isn't great for make up application. The toast at breakfast was served cold but I never raised this either.
Felt very at home. Paolo is a most gracious host, very welcoming and helpful. He goes out of his way to accomodate. The restaurant he suggested Biancofiore was excellent.
