everything was spot on . the resturant was perfect and all the staff were a credit to the owner , will see us again on our drive down to malta
Very good experience. The hosts are doing their best to make you feel extremely well and comfortable. We had everything we asked for and more. Very customer oriented persons at the reception and in the restaurant at breakfast. Nice, comfortable and extremely clean room. Much more than we expected regarding the breakfast which was quite rich: various salamis and cheeses, vegetables, local homemade sweets and many more Nice atmosphere "because of" a very energetic, very nice and smiley lady who all the time take care of customers offering espresso, cappuccino and anything you want for breakfast. About 10-30 km distance to the most important attraction in the area: Siena, Montepulciano, Chianti region, San Gimignano, Montalcino etc. I really recommend this place for friends, families and every person who wants to have a very pleasant stay and rest in Toscana.
The people were so helpful in their efforts to get us to our destination.. (The address would not locate on the GPS: private rd) check in was so easy and the manager unloaded our bags from the car and took them to our room Dinner was fabulous The view was grand the property was beautiful
The ability to locate property on smart phone GPS
Good location. Spacious room and bathroom. Outstanding restaurant - included breakfast was excellent and we had great dinner twice there. Very friendly staff
The bed was not very comfortable
Very comfortable appartment, recently renovated. Beautiful view! Owner very friendly, can advise you some good wine.
Some noise by the neighbours upstairs, but was ok. Parking outside the city, so not near to the appartment (5 min walk), but you can enter the city to put down the luggage directly at the appartment and then move the car to the parking.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome breakfast - big variety of food and everything fresh. Excellent restaurant in the same place. Good location for day trips all around tuscany.
Building was a bit cold during the nights (heating was not really efficient).
My wife and I stayed two nights we are in and we can say nothing but praise. starting from the clean room, rustic of ordered, fine breakfast with a large selection of food and wonderful, friendly host. for each referral. property is beautifully arranged, no noise, away from city noise
There is no road sign for Casa but was not a problem to find.
We stopped here on our way from Florence to Rome. This place is great. It is located on a small hill with nice view. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very welcoming.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is very good.
We've spent really nice time. Room was very nice and cozy. Breakfast was delecious. Located near Siena. It was good place to travel arround Tuscany. During weekend it can be noisy. People from near area are coming to dinner for the down located restaurant and stay up to late evening. You will hear Them for sure but You are in Italy so You should expect it :-).
We really enjoyed the staff. Rosella, her husband, her father and brother. They all made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. Because of the friendly family atmosphere many of the other guests were a pleasure to hang out with. We met the most charming family from Germany. We would love to come visit again soon.
flies and mosquito. But they were in other parts of Italy too. It might have been the time of year.
Nice, clean place, with good facilities including an nice outdoor pool. The breakfast was also quiet nice.
The room we stayed at was somewhat shabby and poorly designed. The host doesn't speak English too well.
Beautiful setting, helpful & very accomodating staff. Wonderful food at the restaurant. Excellent base to explore countryside or to drive up to Pisa & Florence.
No internet in rooms
Excellent and varied breakfast during our 4days stay. Good casual dinner at the restaurant, had dinner twice.
The kitchen was available for the guests but some clients kept rather messy. Some difficulty w/wifi connections.
Everything! Best restaurant we had in the 20 days trip in Italy, the price is reasonable, and the food is just soooo delicious. People are nice and explain all the dishes for us. Breakfast is super as well. Rooms are clean and nice. I just can not find anything bad of this hotel.
Very helpfull and nice staff. The breakfast was excellent. The location was great.
We stayed recently for 2 nights. Loved the property. It's quiet, laid back, and scenic. Some farm animals to see, free use of bikes, a pool, and a terrific breakfast with homemade cakes and lots of variety. Rooms were basic but spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Also central location for exploring the area.
Amazing restaurant; typical Italian food. Rooms are very nice. Staff is professional and funny at the same time. Breakfast is to die for!
Zero! Everything was great. I will go again for sure.
Location, room comfortable and well furnished, fridge, super hosts, information from host was superb, garden, pool, hot tub, distance from Siena, lovely breakfast
With a "little" delay me and my wife want to say a huge THANK YOU to whole Rossella's family and Emanuele in personal for that warm and homelike welcome that had been given to us in march 2014. The place itself was booked by us all of a sudden on a very same day of arrival taking into account location and price. We came late without an advance warning, braking the rules of the premises, but despite that Rossella's husband with a smile upon his face gave us a key from Mocca room, saying that everything is just fine. Casa di Campagna is a former farm which was converted into agriturismo in recent years. Huge two floor building. Very Toscana style cuisine restaurant on the ground floor is runned by a brother, while his sister is in a response for accommodating guests on the first floor of the countryside mansion. The quality of the food, it's tastiness and variosity is clearly reflected in the number of everyday guests who come from neighbor villages and Siena for dinner. About a dozen of rooms on the upper flor, every named after a funny animal. Not a big deal, you just become a "cow" or "rabbit" for a couple of nights. The main hall is decorated in an old style. Swimming pool is in a background. Yes, one more thing - twitting birds in that place is what one needs to hear early in the morning along with ringing of a church bell. It's just takes you out. Emanuele, God help you to meet him, is a local who spent most of his life in Siena, but being a highly educated and enormously curious, probably knows everything of everything in Sovicille region. Learned from him a lot of a history during our breakfast. Ponte della Pia, Cetinale, Terme de Petriolo... I can just continue with names of places and live more for your emotions while you get there. THANK YOU, GUYS. And hope to see you soon. Alex & Maria
To put a direction sigh on round-abound to make it easier to find
The warmth of the family running the hotel. The breakfasts were the best we had during our stay in Italy, we couldn't resist the freshly baked cakes. The room was kept very clean being cleaned everyday. It was a peaceful place with a lovely garden and cats basking in the sun. It was in a good position from which to explore Tuscany by car.
The restaurant food is excellent and very popular. We dined there a number of times. We found the service in the restaurant disorganised though which lead to unnecessarily long dinners which was hard with a three year old who needs to get to bed.
Lovely room with comfortable bed, a fantastic breakfast (especially the variety of home-cooked cakes!) and excellent evening meals in a relaxed atmosphere.
Very slightly chaotic at times - or ultra relaxed!!
I loved the location - outside of Siena but really easy to get to the city, the place was so charming, the staff was more than helpful and the restaurant was wonderful - absolutely make a reservation! It was like being in a little haven in Tuscany. The pool was so fun to have nearby. Breakfast is great too - lots of choices and for free! The site says wifi in public places but we got it in our room too.
There wasn't really anything we didn't like!
Absolutely a wonderful place. Family run business and they know how to do it with style! Great location, food at the restaurant is the best around and breakfast is just as good. Super pool after a day in the city--you will want to stay longer--we did!
