Antica Fonte Residenza di Siena  

Arriving to the guesthouse would have been very difficult without a car (we had not intended to rent a car at the time of booking, so that was a stroke of luck), but the accommodations were well worth the trouble. Our apartment was sweet and comfortable, with no detail overlooked. We loved sitting out on our little patio, sipping coffee and munching on the simple but generous pastries and yogurts provided by the staff. Giuseppe, the owner, was warm, helpful, and just delightful. He gave us some fabulous recommendations of off-the-beaten-path places to see in the area, and did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable. He even printed out a little note in honor of the birthday of one of my companions, which we felt was a very thoughtful and sweet gesture. Also worthy of note: our apartment was fully wheelchair accessible (not just the entrance...also the bathroom, etc). We personally didn't need it, but I'm willing to bet that that can be hard to find in charming, Tuscan converted farmhouses, so +10 points for that.

The Residenza was in a beautiful scenic location, conveniently located close to Siena. It was a beautiful, immaculate cottage furnished in a country style with a full kitchen. I would recommend it most highly.

The apartment offers clean room enough for family travelers. It was a two-story apartment with two bathrooms. There was a small kitchen, dining room and a tiny space for living room. The apartment is located in a peaceful, quiet countryside, still close to the city center of Siena which is less than 10 minutes by car.

The breakfast had a good volume, but it was mainly the packed sweet pastries. There is only one pizzaria within the walking distance. The place was good but it was closed on Sunday for our first night.

This hotel was amazing! Giuseppe was so nice, starting with his pickup from the train station and into our amazing little Tuscan Villa. We had a kitchen, patio, clean big bathrooms, nice bed plus use of bicycles, hot tub and a gorgeous view. We did not have a car, but to be honest, it was not a big deal. The bus stop was maybe a 10 minute walk and if you wanted to you can bike into town. There is a small grocery store in town if you want to pick up some ingredients to cook a meal, there's also 2 cafe's within walking distance as well. There's an option to have breakfast at the cafe or have it be delivered to your room & I chose the delivery to room. Basically it's the standard, packaged pastries w/some juice, milk & water, but it was fine. If you are active and love the beautiful Tuscan countryside, then this is the b&b for you!

The room was very well-equiped for a long stay. Rooms are updated as well. Close proximity to Siena.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Tuscany. We had a self contained apartment with everything you could need including a washing machine/dryer, fridge, hob, cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean - all credit to the owner. When we arrived there was tea, coffee, milk and water waiting and these were replenished daily. Some reviewers have commented about a shared washing machine however I suspect that would only apply if you stayed in the main house. Air conditioning was extra, 15 euro for the four nights. Breakfast was, as others have said, nothing fantastic although edible - we were given the choice of breakfast in the aprtment or at a local cafe, initially we chose the latter but we changed our mind when the staff at the cafe did not fulfill their obligation(s). Alll in all a great place to base yourself for touring Tuscany and the Jacuzzi was an added bonus.

The residence is nice place just outside of Siena, not long way to the city center by car. The appartment was on two levels with living room on first floor and bedroom on upper level. Good place to stay for several days, it was pity that we stay only one night, though the price was higher than other locations

There is no swimming pool, only a jacuzzi contratry to what is mentionned on the booking.com info!

The rooms, very well furnished and clean, spacious and the staff cordiality. Specially from Mr. Giuseppe, that always left in our room a wine produced by himself, and a great olive oil. Great place to stay to visit the settlements around, as Siena, Monterrigione, Firenze. Parking just beside the room.

Pulizia dell'appartamento. La cura dei particolari nell'arredamento ed I servizi offerti: tranquillità dell'hotel, cucina attrezzata, bagno con vasca idromassaggio, la vicinanza alla città è un luogo strategico per visitare le mete turistiche più inportanti della previncia di Siena.

Der er I bil ca. 5 km - 6 km til centrum af Siena og mindst 1,5 km til swimmingpool, som er en stor offentlig betalingspool. Området er trist at gå I, og det er nødvendigt at have bil, hvis man skal have noget ud af opholdet, da der ikke er noget at se omkring stedet.
