Nice and spacey apartment with working air-condition and wifi. We were actually given a larger one than we paid for. You will be greeted by Salvo who gave us nice recommendations for places around. We really liked the little restaurant right next to the apartment with fresh fish grill and good wine. Go for a nearby local market for breakfast, awesome experience

Very good and nice located accommodation. We where looking for a fully furnished apartment in city center and this is exactly what we got. I was looking for a good accommodation and I found Casa Giuditta on the Lonely Planet Travel Guide. So I decided to book on booking.com The Staff is kind and speak English and also Russian, we where surprised to see that. Everything has a typical Sicilian character, you will feel that you are traveling, not in an anonymous standard place. The apartment is clean and well equipped, I think the quality/price ratio is very good. The restaurants nearby that the staff suggested are a real bargain !! Strong recommended !!!!

Firstly, Palermo is not a "holiday". Be prepared for filth and rubbish. Wear good shoes n b prepared to step in dog faeces. Casa Guiditta was in context. B aware of random loss of power. Managers are offsite and can't respond immediately. Also don't expect cleanliness with the facilities. Drying clothes is a major problem. Good luck if u decide to visit Palermo. Insist on learning how to turn power back on when u check in. It's in context with the place.

The apartment is very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were received by the owner Salvo, who is a very friendly and nice person, and his charming and gorgeous wife Tatiana. The location is in the older part of Palermo, close to the Botanical Garden, which I came to visit, and the seaside. Donatella, who work for Casa Giuditta, collected us at the airport for a very reasonable fee and was most helpful in explaining the history of the area, and of the city. She gave us good advice for restaurants and touring. The apartment has a big flat screen Tv and internet Wifi and a view on the square of piazza della Kalsa. Salvo told me in perfect English that they have many apartments in the same building. He does his work with passion and did everything to support us. One little accident could ruin my holiday: I forgot my bag in the nearby fish restaurant with more than 300 euro and several credit card plus Iphone. I was sure my holiday could be a mess but they were looking for me and they gave my bag, intact!! I felt very protected in that part of the city, there were so many tourists around and I feel that people there live with tourists and respect them. Of course if you choose an apartment and not an hotel you must be ready to live like a local, Salvo told me that many customers choose the apartment because is cheaper but after complain that there is not 24 hour reception, buffet breakfast etc. Instead I enjoyed the in room kitchen and a big fridge and washing machine, I was traveling for long and this stop has been good to wash everything ! In short, we loved it and will return, perhaps in July 2011. Highly recommended.

Liked the fact that it was an appartment to include washing machine and stove... As well as pots, pans, and utensils. Also enjoyed the outside area with all the locals. Great location. Bad feeling we got from owner, Salvo. Seemed very shady and wanted cash up front - not advertised as such and took us totaly by surprise. He told us that a cash machine was very far away and he would have to drive my husband to it. Very uncomfortable feeling -- made us think we were in some kind of a international travel scam. That day we found a cash machine up the street. I was left at apt with my 3 year old son and my husband was taken... This all after being in apt for 10 min. Prior to that our apt was not ready for us and we had to wait outside for over an hour. And lastly this should not be advertised as kid friendly, noisy outside until 31m each night, the child service is not available as advertised as he told us we were the first people to ask in 10 years and he did not have childcare on hand. He then was goingto have his wife come and sit for us... That didn't sit good with us, plus it not a good location for children. Extrememly unhappy with Salvo and his rude attitude toward us, my husband finally had to go off on him. He seems way to shaddy and pushy... Like a washed up car salesman who still thinks hes got it.

The facilities were in good shape, all very clean and comfortable. everything looked new. The apartments are extremely safe and also located in the heart of Palermo. I would definitely choose to stay there again and would also recommend it to others traveling to Palermo. The Staff gave me a lot of precious advices of what to do and where to eat in not touristic restaurants. We liked very much to go in places where real Sicilians goes. Finally they offered us the services to go back at the airport at a very reasonable price. Recommended !

We arrived at Casa Giuditta after a long bus ride from Trapani. Donatella, a charming lady, welcomed us and even helped to carry our baggage. As I understand she speaks 5 languages ! Donatella told us a lot of the city, gave us maps and pinned the must see things (there are a lot of :) ). Our room was in the "main flat" - because there's another flat next to this one. It was nicely decorated, there's air condition of course - quite useful, because the summer in Sicily is hot. The bathroom is ok, there's a cabin (for two people), toilet, and the usual stuffs. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. There was also kitchen fully equipped and washing machine. We didn't have problems with the water – plenty of hot water - also the wifi worked very good. This is not a hotel, so don't expect scrambled eggs, hamburgers, and the usual American or western European breakfast things: breakfast in italy is just a croissant and a cup of coffee. Of course if you want more there is the kitchen and a big fridge with refrigerator for self catering, so one have plenty of options to choose. There’s wireless internet inside the room, for free, I did not find it even in luxurious hotel (my last experience was to pay 5 euro per hour for wifi in a 5 star hotel ! ) We'll surely return! Thanks for everything! Everything was fine. Only better to send and sms or e-mail to inform about arrival time, especially if you plan to arrive late.

We enjoyed very much this accommodation. we were received by a kind girl who spoke English very well, she suggested us places where to eat with few Euro and very good, where i go with my boy, she said... The location is very near to the sea, so a fresh smell arrived from it. The apartment we received was brand new and furnished with everything, even a big flat screen TV ! Nearby to us there are the NH hotel and Hotel Porta Felice, both 4 stars hotels very expensive, we felt lucky to be in the middle and pay much less. Not mention that we cooked sometime our meals and save a lot..! There is an agreement so I could use the SPA of the Hotel Porta Felice to relax... Fantastic... Internet was free in the room and very fast. We parked the car for free but last night we use the protected service for 11 euro that is not so much. We liked very much the atmosphere of this place. Thank you Casa Giuditta, we will come back for sure !!

It is apartments. There is no restaurant inside, but you may buy food in a market and prepare it in a kitchen. Good location in the historic center of Palermo. There are many restaurants and interesting places near the apartments. But there were problems with hot water.

appartamento pulito e tranquillo. Wifi gratuita.

Schoon, leuk uitzicht. Aardige man.

“We spent 3 nights at this Great hotel, central location. Just an 11 minute city bus to Mondello beach! Staff was friendly and informative. Room was spacious, very clean and had a balcony. Walking distance to open air markets, shopping and Palermo sites. Simple breakfast was included (croissants, jams, yogurts, coffee, tea, fruit, cereal).” Peter, Oakville |
