The parking situation was challenging. Street parking is difficult to find due to all the construction in the area--it's taking up all the places. They do have a small parking area, but it can get filled up.
Also, be prepared to climb stairs--up to the B&B and also up the stairs inside if you have an upstairs room. I'm glad we brought our small suitcases. A large one would have been quite challenging.
The area itself is very near the University, and one has to be tolerant of a lot of graffiti and some noise at night.
Our hostess could not have been more gracious. We not only changed our time of arrival, but then showed up 45 min. late. She didn't bat an eye and greeted us as family.
Our room was nice, and I especially appreciated all the hooks and shelves in the very bright bathroom. It was also nice returning to a well-cleaned room after a long day.
My husband and I personally liked the communal breakfast! We met quite a few friendly and interesting people. For me, that was a real plus. Another real plus (although not for my waistline) was those cakes. They were delicious. My husband even got a lesson on how to use the Italian coffee pot.
