Our apartment was well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable. The terrace is very large and overlooks the mountains, the town and the sea. There are breathtaking views day and night. The Casa is located at the top of the town, twenty metres from both the Sita bus stop and the village bus stop. The town centre and beach are a 15 minute walk down the stairways between the houses. You can catch the local bus back up the hill, or take an easy 30 minute walk up the winding streets passed the restaurants and boutiques, to the top where the locals gather. Bar Internazionale, a couple of local grocers, a post office and a couple of great little restaurants are within 100 metres of the front door. It is really conveniently located away from the crowds in the town centre. Many visitors to Positano would only see this area through a bus window, which is unfortunate. Finally the Carro family are superb hosts, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. They are masters of hospitality. We loved our time here and will gladly return.

The only real complaint was the hard bed and soft pillows, which were kind of sub-par for the price. Everything else was great.
Stefano and his family were absolutely brilliant. They were so friendly and could not do enough to help, including guiding us to the location after a long day's drive and pointing us in the direction of a lovely nearby restaurant. The place was much bigger than expected and had a great view. A bit of a walk down a number of stairs to the beach (10 mins down 20 mins up), but no problem if you are active. Anything we asked, they were only too happy to offer assistance. Thankyou.

The bed was a bit too hard for our liking but the blackout shutters made up for it.
This is a lovely large apartment with everything you need to live like a local. It has shops next door and a great pizza place that sells pizza for €6 : ) It's located at the top of the town on the road through Positano so the buses stop just outside and there are a few different stairways down to the beach and main tourist area. Everybody is so friendly in Positano but the owners of this apartment really did go out of their way to organise trips and make bookings for us, all we had to do was as a question and they sorted it! The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning so dining at the apartment can be just as good as going out. We want to move in...

Everything was perfect. The Carro family were very kind and welcoming. It was our honeymoon and they had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was large, clean and has a fantastic view. The location is great. There is a cafe, a small grocery store and a restaurant right beside the apartment. The SITA bus stop is right there as well which is perfect for day trips/travel along the coast. It's also a close walk (10-15 minutes) to the restaurants and shops in Positano. Very affordable as well. We would highly recommend the apartment to anyone travelling to Positano and we will hopefully return soon.

We loved everything about Casa Le Terrazze
The hospitality of the Carro family was wonderful and something we will always remember. The apartment was so spacious, comfortable and very well equiped. The view from the beautiful terrace was amazing. We loved the location as we felt like we were living like the locals. The bar close by was a great place to sit and watch the world go by and there was a well stocked supermarket one minute away as well as wonderful restaurants. The local bus was frequent and a minute away and took us down into the centre of town when we didn't feel like walking. We were so sad to leave but have the best memories of Casa Le Terrazze, the Carro family, and the Amalfi Coast.

- I can't think of a thing!
- The owners were genuinely keen to make our stay memorable and special and provided a very old fashioned style host experience where you are welcomed warmly. - All our queries about the apartment as well as Positano activities in general were answered within about 10 minutes and they also provided some great recommendations for restaurants and activities. - Great value for money in comparison to the other more expensive options in Positano. - The self catering facilities meant that we could avoid spending too much on food by cooking at home and still enjoy the odd meal out at the more special and pricey restaurants in Positano - The apartment was massive so although there was just the 2 of us, it would have been fabulous for larger groups or families as well. - The balcony has the most stunning view of Positano that made dining on our own balcony an incredible experience! - The location was perfect with the bus stop 2 minutes down the street - handy when you're coming back up from the beach which otherwise would have been the equivalent of a month's gym attendance! - The position of Casa Le Terrazze also meant we could enjoy the walk down to the centre of Positano every day through the alleys and steps which was so picturesque, whereas if you were staying at the bottom it's unlikely you would venture up and down that much which is a shame as there's a lot of gorgeous walks through the town - We would recommend Casa Le Terrazze whole heartedly for a wonderful stay in Positano which is a magical destination and perfect for a romantic holiday

Upon arrival, the owner was cordial but not very friendly. A lot of rules about using hot water, using AC, recycling. Furniture was not comfortable and no access to a single English speaking TV channel. Bed creaked when you sat on it. Kitchen was poorly lit and adequately equipped. Moved into a hotel for a day which cost 50 Euros more and stayed by the pool and in the lap of luxury.
Location was close to local bus, little restaurant, two mini-supermarkets and great views from the terrace. If you have children or two couples this might work on saving money.

The wifi was poor from time to time, but that wasnt even a big issue. LOVELY STAY! / caroline & Johan
Lovely balcony with an amazing view of Positano and the sea. We cooked every day in the kitchen, there is shops nearby and the apartment is 1 minute from the bus stop. The Carro Family was so friendly and helpful if you need transportation info etc.

The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen and oversized balcony with the most amazing view. The staff were friendly, and very accommodating. My husband and I extending our stay in Positano because we fell in love with the views, restaurants and our location was convenient to travel the entire coast. We rented a Vespa for 3 days and were able to see many of the towns surrounding us within 30 minutes. Next to our apartment was the bus (to the beach or other towns), a market, a variety of restaurants within a few minutes that were reasonably priced. We will return to Casa Le Terrazze and recommend to all of our friends and family. Amazing time!!

This apartment is amazing! The terrace has an incredible view of the ocean and town of Positano. The family that owns the apartment was incredibly kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also very close to the bus stop, a market and a cafe/bar. I would highly recommend Casa Le Terraze to anyone traveling to Positano that wants to have a LOT of space, a beautiful view, and to be able to live like a local while in Italy!

The Carro Family who hosted us were so very gracious, helpful and went out of their way to be sure that our stay was excellent. The apartment was beyond our expectations with two lovely bedrooms, a very spacious terrace overlooking Positano, a wonderful kitchen and large living room. The view was incredible. The hospitality was incredible. The bus stop was just a few steps outside our door as were the food markets and cafes. We will definitely return here soon! Thank you, Stefano & family for an unforgettable holiday. Mike & Donna. USA

You have to be a bit careful coming out the front door as it opens directly onto the street.
Convenient: Any worries about our Positano visit disappeared when the bus stopped in front of the hotel. Comfortable: Our apartment (we were expecting a room) was spacious, quiet, fully updated and nicely furnished; and, the patio with scenic vistas of the mountains, ocean and city was an added plus. There is also a garage if you drive.Hospitality: Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. We highly recommend Casa Le Terazze for your Positano stay.
