So clean and compact without being small. New heating had just been installed and was great.

It was a lovely big apartment, plenty of space for a family and very warm in the cold weather. Francesa was a great host and very accommodating

The staff was great, the appartment was big, clean and nice. If I go again I will stay there.

The area was quite and 30min far from milano.

Spacious and comfortable apartment. Quiet location.

It became quite cold at night but there was no heat. In the booklet, however, it is stated that heat is turned on as of October 1. Heavy cover was only for double bed and not for twin beds. Boat from San Giovanni to Bellagio does not run as of October 1. If you do not have a car, you have to walk rather long way to Bellagio and to the grocery store. Restaurant in San Giovani, Nella, is overpriced for what you get and the quality is not good. However, in the bar coffee. pastry and ice-cream were delicious. The both women working in the bar were kind and helpful.

This is a family run apartment in a house, near Bellagio but need to drive there. The room is very big with living room and kitchen. We cooked by ourselves during the 3 days. There is also in house garage ( parking is easy and safe ) and small garden, free Wifi is OK in living room, very comfortable stay. The housemaster give us very detail introduction about the house and the near towns, also the route to Milan , etc. We will recommend this hotel for family but with smaller car if drive.

Hard to find by GPS, the road into the small town is very narrow for our Audi A6 and BMW 530, almost leave 5cm each side for our car to drive through. We have to call the housemaster when we arrive at 7pm and raining outside. No heater/heating during our stay and feel cold at night and early morning. The ceiling of bath room on top floor is not high enough.

The most impressive thing - prepared big file with all necessary information. You definitely don't need any guiding book. You can find all information not only about Bellagio, but about other towns and Villas around Como lake with hand made notification on the map. I wish all hotels and apartments would supply such information. We even got directions of markets for local people: with the same goods as in tourist visited places but the prices for local people (much cheaper). Plenty of place for parking: in private garage or public parking, but it is challenge to access all this. Like many other visitors reviewed - access is very squeeze. It is not a joke, but after all I'm laughing :) But we managed to get trough even with Citroen Berlingo which is big one. Quiet place, not far from beach and harbor. It is worth to stay.

Apartment was in the top floor, loft. Therefore, ceilings where very low in some parts of rooms, bathroom. So for tall people, as all our family is, it caused some discomfort.

Lovely place, was perfect with young child. Nice to be a bit out of town too- still easy walking distance. thankyou!

Very spacious and invested in new modern equipment and facilities. Francesca and her father Ricardo were extremely helpful. We loved the combination of lake view ( from far) and mountain- countryside view. Great design and gardening and all tools and equipment. Was great for a longer stay of we had the time.... Wake up early according the church bells that are close: you can bring even three children all sofas open to beds plenty of room for anyone. Nice little terrace facing the lake.

Everything wonderful only have to travel with car about aile to the nearest grocery/ supermarket store. The old city and the embarcadero(beautiful) are reachable only by car Rent narrow car because the entrance to the street is through one way very narrow passage we are definitely reccomending this apartment!

We stayed on the top level in a two bedroom apartment with a/c, which in the middle of August was a must when trying to get a two year old and a one year old to take a nap in the middle of the day. The apartment was fantastic, perfect for our stay and we are already planning our next trip. The location was a quick ten minute drive to the center of Bellagio and was a five minute walk to the closest lake access. Granted, there is no sand in the lake, and the rock covered beaches make lying down and walking to/from the water slightly tricky, but you get used to it. There is a supermarket within a five minute drive to purchase necessities for the stay, but the prices aren't terrible in the local area. The best part about the trip was renting a boat (address/information in the Casa Lory welcome binder) and spending a day cruising the lake looking at the enormous mansions/villas along the water...even George Clooney's casa. Overall, Casa Lory was exactly what we were looking for but remember, only two out of five apartments have a/c, so if this is a must for you, be sure to QC the apartment you are renting.

One thing to note is the small alleyway that leads to Casa Lory is narrow. We read this note in the reviews and were lucky we did, as we would have brought our Tahoe and had to part a ways away. Our bmw 3 series had 1 inch wiggle room on either side at the narrowest part. If you can fit through, there is plenty of parking adjacent to the apartment. I also would not recommend trying to use the garage, as it is just as narrow and a bit trickier trying to get your car into/out of, especially if there are other cars down there. It holds 4 total.

Very nice appartment house with a very kind host Francesca. Restaurants, supermarket, boat station are within a walking distance. Very quiet village! We enjoyed it a lot!

We had very noisy neibourghs, but this is not owners fault.

Stayed at the Buck appt. On the top floor. Very well equipped. Quiet surroundings incl. Access to a nice garden.

Access by car is through a narrow lane, caution required, not a major problem though. Bathroom is large and very nice however in the bath tub you cannot stand up fully when showering due to the apt being located on the top floor (roof angle)

I loved the surroundings and the fact that we were within the tiniest of villages San Giovanni. Their square and church overlooked the magnificent Lake Como. Our appartment was airy and spacious and had a great little balcony that overlooked the lovely green gardens onto the lake. So peaceful. It was only a 15 minute walk into Bellagio which itself is touristy but still lovely. It was nice to remove yourself from that however. We bought some amazing fresh produce from the local mercato and created our own Italian experience. Our hostess Francesca was so lovely. She came to collect us from the Ferry when we first arrived. Very accommodating indeed..

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, it was really spacious and comfortable, especially considering the price. The surroundings are very nice. There is a port San Giovanni only few minutes by walk where you can get on a boat to Bellagio, Varenna etc. so the location was very convenient. We didnt have any problems during our stay, the owner was very nice and flexible (she left us a brochure with detailed information about the region, best things to do, shops adresses etc. which can be also quite useful).

If you plan on self-catering, bring some food at least for the first morning as the supermarket is not that close (we used our car and navigation, so it didnt take us more than 10 minutes to get there). However, there are many nice restaurants to go for a lunch/dinner in the nearby towns.

Comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Beautiful and quiet surrounding.

The road leading to this place is too narrow for a big car and the attic where we were staying lacked a balcony and even the windows couldn't be fully opened.

Casa Lory was 2 km before Bellagio in the little hamlet of San Giovanni. We didn't Have a car so generally walked along the main road to Bellagio although there is a bus service at San Giovanni. You must remember to pre purchase the bus tickets at Bellagio though. Our apartment was on the second floor with spacious kitchen / living area plus little balcony, one bedroom with twin beds and a roomy bathroom with bath and separate shower. We didn't actually do any cooking in the apartment, but it was nice to have that facility if we had wanted to. Had a minor problem with hot water, but the Owner Francesca assisted without a problem. Enjoyed being in the countryside as opposed to the middle of Bellagio with thousands of tourists. Better if you have car though as lugging suitcases on buses and around the countryside isn't the best unless you are under 40!!!

Lovely apartment, excellent location, the landlords were very helpful and accommodating and referred us to a restaurant for our BEST meal in the Bellagio area.

It's a little tricky to find and then we had to call to get someone to come and open up since there is no one onsite. We didn't know that in advance - good thing we had a working cell phone! Also, we were surprised that the kitchen was not stocked with things like salt, pepper, olive oil, etc.

Le calme, bien situé, propre. Rien manquait à l'intérieur. grand pour 4.garage Le propriétaire très sympa.

Le petit passage pour accéder en voiture. on le savait mais nous avions un bon conducteur pour 100m.

апартаменты расположены в небольшой деревушке сан джовани, тихо, красивый вид, ухоженная территория. в деревне хороший рыбный ресторан. в самих апартаментах нормальная мебель, хорошая кухня с полным набором посуды. до беладжио недалеко, но идти надо по автодороге или в соседней деревушке заходить на территорию бот. сада на вилле (за деньги и только в рабочее время). отдельный большой плюс хозяевам за исчерпывающий путеводитель по городу и окрестностям. рекомендую хотя бы раз проехать не по прибрежной дороге а по горной над белладжио - виды исключительные.

ванна в мансарде установлена очень неудачно - принимать душ можно только сидя, а для набора ванны вода холодновата :). имейте в виду, что хозяева живут в другом доме, поэтому по прибытию надо им звонить. как все уже писали - проезд к дому очень узкий (зато адреналин обеспечен:)). в беладжио лучше ездить на машине, т.к. путешествие по дороге не самое приятное. дорога от комо до беладжио тоже очень узкая (как и дорога беладжио -лекко), опять много адреналина.

большие чистые апартаменты с панорамными окнами.прекрасные виды на озеро,шум горной реки,ухоженная територия и двадцатиминутная доступность до белладжио.

отсутствие ежедневной уборки.

Garaget där vi kunde ha våra cyklar.

Vägen fram till hotellet är väldigt smal. Wifi var inte tillgängligt alltid.

Отличные аппартаменты, в окнах открваются отличные виды на озеро и виллы. Распологается в пешей доступности от белладжио, по выхожным в порт самого поселка приходит паром (3-4 раза в день). Парковка имеется.
