room is big, staffs are friendly. located in the main street.
a little bit hard to find!
the location was amazing , the hotel was clean and nice , I would return if I came back to Venice.
I didn't like waiting till 3pm to have my room when it was meant to be ready at 2pm and the wifi from my room was not available . But otherwise great place to stay
i like the small cosy feel of the hotel. the bathroom is big, the room is really comfortable
the hotel doesnt hav a proper reception area we spent almost an hour to find the hotel and it appear to be in a very small side street.
The bed, the location
The bathroom, doesnt work. The room doesnt have enough light at night.
breakfast room was nice.Rooms are fine.
breakfast was a bit late 8.30 am. Tea and coffee from a machine not great
Great location, quiet, friendly staff, air conditioned rooms, appealing interior design
Beds are a bit hard, Don't trust google maps for the location!
The main is waiter not enough enthusiasm, give my first feeling is very bad! Room facilities can also, no pictures of beautiful!

Location - great if you want to be near station but can still walk easily to the main attractions.
You have to use the intercom at the main door for someone to let you in. Sometimes left waiting for a few minutes which feels like ages when you've been out all day! There appeared to be very few staff, and reception is unmanned a lot of the time so place felt a bit impersonal.
Casa Martini was delightful. A bit tricky to find at first as the entrance is actually on the side of the building in a charming Venetian alley. We loved the small balcony and spilling over flower boxes in the front. It is right on the main walkway through this section of Venice, but very quiet even at the height of tourist season! The room, was charming and perfectly clean, in fact charming is the best description for everything we saw at Casa Martini. The views from our room were of a authentic courtyard of homes, very quiet and quaint. Breakfast was plentiful, albeit a bit expensive for the standard fare in Italy, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. We checked out in the morning and kept our bags at the hotel all day while we explored then came back for them in time to catch our train. We would definitely come back.
*wonderful location *modern and new furniture *quiet environment *close to both station and shopping areas
*no reception staff after 7pm, need to ring the bell, smo opens the door remote *very few wall plugs *no net on windows
location, staff, everything else
hope they implement a 24 hour reception. that feels safer.
The front door was annoying, if you wanted to go inside you had to press a door bell and wait for someone to answer and open the door. It was raining one night and we waited in the rain for almost 10 minutes for someone to open the door. They need to upgrade to a swipe card system so that people can access the property securely at their leisure. The night we checked in the air conditioning wasn't working and there were now towels in the room. On the day we left nobody would help us with our bags which we had to carry down 6 flights of stairs (someone helped us when we checked in though)
Ideal price in an ideal location.
Minor problem. Postcode didn't match the actual destination.
cute little hotel in a nice area of Venice.
It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast upstairs. The room was updated and a pleasure to stay in.
The only thing that was disappointing was that our bed was 2 twins pushed together instead of one bed. It would not deter us from coming back again though!
good location.old house.interestic envioroment/
more than 20 steps no elevator.no service for lugege /=. our credit card was charged immidiatly after the order-not as you are told that the nomber is kept only for security reason/ we had a terrible problem-the alarm system was operated loudly the whole night. there was nobody to take care and take responsibility.all guests were confused out of room for hours! impossible to stay in such a place where no one is in charge.our request for refound for that night was not answered even now-three weeks later!keep ayaw of this place!
Location & Room was awesome!! I would return back to this hotel.
It was hard to find the hotel at the first time. Also, wifi was available but doesn't work.
My wife and I stayed at the Casa Martini 1st to 5th June 2014, we arrived late 9pm, we had read previous reviews and the check in process was very straight forward, our key and welcome letter was on the 1st floor reception desk. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and a great way to start exploring Venice. We found all the staff very helpful, our room (15) was spacious, clean and quiet, being at the back of the hotel. Location was within easy 10 minute walk from the bus station. Plenty of restaurants very close to the hotel, we found the location just perfect for our stay. Pressing the doorbell to gain entry to the hotel was never a problem, the quirky slow door opening makes the hotel more memorable in our opinion.
Everything was fine.
Beautiful little boutique hotel in a great neighborhood
Walking distance from train station
For the expensive nightly rate did not include breakfast; no lift, considering the rooms are in higher floors and long stairs.
- fresh, good breakfast - very good coffee machine - good Place, very much in the center of Venice - nice and clean bathroom
- Not enough tables for breakfast - Entrance area (downstairs) should be renovated (not nice to look at garbage when you enter the main door; door did not work properly, first staircase in bad condition)
Nice location, 20mins walk from piazza San Marco but quiet enough to sleep easily. Easy to find. Beautiful old building. Spacious room.
Room furnishings were a bit dated.
The hotel was lovely. Thestaff are so friendly and helpful. It's clean and comfortable and in my opinion the location is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any young (ish) couple.
My only complaint would be that we were on the top floor and our room because of this was a little stuffy. Our trip was at the beginning of April, so the weather wasn't particularly hot, but our room did get quite warm. We asked about air conditioning but we were politely informed that because of the time of year the hotel didn't switch it on. And because I foolishly forgot any mosquito repellent, we couldn't open our windows to let the fresh air in without letting the little buzzing pests in too. So if you do travel around a time when the temperatures begin to rise remember the mosquito repellent!
Good location, made an effort to check us in when we arrived early
Room was a bit noisy, could hear our neighbouring guest snoring
Location was brilliant easy walking distance to main attractions, helpful friendly staff.
Was a little hard to find at first maybe let guests know that the hotel is situated above a restaurant and main access is in a side alley.
