There is no staff after 6 PM. It looks line haunted House in the night with weird main door, takes 30 seconds plus to open.No sufficient lights in the room which is indeed scary. Breakfast is pathetic, though its I buffet breakfast (additional Eur 7.5 per person) but you only get three small croissants and three white breads for two person. On our first day we asked for additional croissants and the way guy looked at us we felt as if we are begging... there are quite a many good options available in Venice in better price and honestly we won't recommend this hotel.....
Its a bit hard to find in the begin as you have to access the building from the side a small narrow street. After the bridge its just on the left side of the street
Very good location, cozy room, close to the station, in the middle of the city, I will deffinately visit this B&B again
The price wasn't worth what was offered for the regular rooms (not luxury). But the staff - was - horrible. I called to ask if I could check in early. They said yes, and they would put the key on the counter. I get there, find the key on the counter, and go in to my room. Later when the receptionist arrived he ended up screaming at me and tried to charge me for 2 nights because I checked in early. Apparently, the person that answers there phones doesn't work in the hotel. And the key on the desk was for someone else's room. It was a nice room though. Much better than the little run-down room they gave us on the 3rd floor.
It was extremely cute and if you're staying in a luxury room you'll love it.
Great value for money; modernized and spaciuos bathroom; well heated room and bathroom, VERY friendly receptionist, THANK YOU!!
very nice room, big and modern. even they say wifi is not in all area I can have them in my room.
I liked everything but my partner is a bit picky and she camplains about hard bed.
Perfect location. Will recommend a nice cafe just 10 metres (canal corner) away for early morning coffee and delisious cakes.) hotel is very neat and quiet. We didnt spend much time indoor. It is close to station (bus and train) and farry ways.
Hotel was very hard to find. Map on booking.com does not match location. Ring for directions if you stay here. Young guy at reception when we checked in charged us $2.50 per night each for city tax when booking clearly stated $2.00 each. Also told us breakfast was $10.00 each, when we checked booking it said $7.50 each. Did not have breakfast. Had to leave keys to room on a hook at reception when we went out, anyone could pick up key for any room. Had to wait for front door to be opened every time we came back. The whole entry exit system should be modernised.
Close to the train station, so not far to lug our bags. The room was on the third floor overlooking the roofs of other buildings. Had large exposed beams showing the awesome construction styles from its origins. Good sized room with good space for bags. Bathroom was clean and roomy.
The breakfast was ham cheese croissant ,cereal yoghurt tea coffee.Typical Italian breakfast. It's ok but I would prefer to have breakfast on the street .
Good location ,close to train and bus station, and ferry to Murano and Burano.
Lack of facilities e.g. bar fridge No doors on cupboard
There was absolutely nothing to not like!!!
Everything. Last year we stayed there and got engaged and stayed next to the inside court which was quite and peaceful. This year we stayed in the room next to the breakfast area on the busy street and that was just amazing! I am already saving up again to go to Venice and will only stay at the Casa Martini!! Its romantic and close to everything!!!!
Our room was right off the reception area and felt somewhat less private than we would have liked.
Liked the decor, furnishings and especially the spacious bathroom. NGOs
We where on the 3rd floor, hard work with suitcases, but then you have to consider the age of the hotel. Coffee machine could've been a bit stronger. That's a personal taste thing I guess I wasn't the only one with that comment
The location was great, close to railway station, we had a quiet back room with lots of character, especially the loft ceiling. Clean spacious rooms for Venice. Breakfast was fine.
Hospitality was shockingly bad Enrique was the most moody, rude, unhelpful person we met on our travels. All the rooms are twins (two single bed pushed together) for 202 euro's a night this was the most over priced hotel i've ever stayed in. No Kettle, no Cups, no glasses, no coffee or tea in the rooms. Not enough towels, Aircon didn't work, We had to request our room to be cleaned. No breakfast included. I would not recommend this Facility to anyone, fully disgusted with my stay here. I don't think I can put into words my absolute dismay at the service received at this establishment. Do yourself a favour and keep looking for a better hotel for your stay in Venice, I wish I had.
The room looked ok. No better than a Mercure hotel.
Well. That's funny, but don't expect anyone from the staff to be in a place and check you in if you arrive after 6pm. We had to wait for 40 minutes to be checked in (on the phone!, not by person). We only met the guy at the reception the following morning.
Overall, the hotel is very nice, beautifully decorated and neat. They have a terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning. The location is great.
The wifi is weak.
Clean room. Close to train station
Receptionist is awful! We came to check in at 2 pm and the room wasn't ready because there was no bed sheet! And we had to wait for 1 h. We made a big problem about this and we insisted to check in on time because we had plans and very tierd, otherwise we gonna make a big problem so they started to move and find solution and we checked in without bef sheets which was ready when we came back at night. Hotel is very nice, so bad they have staff like this
Location amazing. Room coasy and clean
very difficult to find even you have the address, google map and the map in booking.com for this hotel is wrong.
the design in the room even they looks like old.
a little bit hard to find!
room is big, staffs are friendly. located in the main street.
I didn't like waiting till 3pm to have my room when it was meant to be ready at 2pm and the wifi from my room was not available . But otherwise great place to stay
the location was amazing , the hotel was clean and nice , I would return if I came back to Venice.
the hotel doesnt hav a proper reception area we spent almost an hour to find the hotel and it appear to be in a very small side street.
i like the small cosy feel of the hotel. the bathroom is big, the room is really comfortable
The bathroom, doesnt work. The room doesnt have enough light at night.
The bed, the location
breakfast was a bit late 8.30 am. Tea and coffee from a machine not great
breakfast room was nice.Rooms are fine.
Beds are a bit hard, Don't trust google maps for the location!
Great location, quiet, friendly staff, air conditioned rooms, appealing interior design
The main is waiter not enough enthusiasm, give my first feeling is very bad!
The main is waiter not enough enthusiasm, give my first feeling is very bad! Room facilities can also, no pictures of beautiful!
You have to use the intercom at the main door for someone to let you in. Sometimes left waiting for a few minutes which feels like ages when you've been out all day! There appeared to be very few staff, and reception is unmanned a lot of the time so place felt a bit impersonal.
Location - great if you want to be near station but can still walk easily to the main attractions.
