눉Group Room Reviews:
check your room is not well away and very separate to the main residence. Not happy to discover that!
The room with the whirlpool bath has the shower over it and is not suitable for anyone with knee/ hip issues & has rather odd partitioning & a clothes rail; Nice bathroom.
Basement is great and very atmospheric, but you do experience traffic noise over the top of you in the morning
room with the amazing ceiling and sculptures is wonderful, bed rather uncomfortable.
눇How to review our joint views on our stay in this historic home as they were rather mixed.
It is certainly eccentric, quirky and full of rather amazing things-paintings, statues, ceilings, etc. including Professor Linardi. Many will love his tour of the museum; much too wordy for others.
Rooms vary hugely in terms of comfort, facilities and ambiance. they are well furnished, expensively so the bathrooms- (Philippe Starck sanitaryware).
Well tended with clean fresh towels each day which was excellent. Coffee and tea making facilites and complimentary water a nice touch.
However, Breakfast needs to be much better. Fresher and more varied, better quality produce. It was probably the least good we experienced during our travels. This was especially true as we had to then pay extra in cash for it!
A theatrical unusual stay. Quite expensive it was felt.
