We left Milan, where we had one of our all time top 5 stays ever, just to have that one topped by Palazzo Torriani. This palazzo is now probably one of our top 2. The location and grounds are magnificent. It is a true palazzo and Ana Maria & Maria Emilia truly treated us like family. They are second to none as is their attention to detail. I am not able to describe our experience justly as I am no poet. The personal tour of the grounds given to us could have spanned hours as there is so much history and items to see and discuss. One of our highlights, which we hold in highest regard, is the night we booked dinner. The ladies cooked a superbly exquisite dinner for just us two by the fireplace... unforgettable! At desert we sat and chatted for a lengthy time which capped a beautiful and romantic evening with a golden bow. Not to down play breakfast which was so fresh and tasty. I can not say enough good things about our stay here. I do not believe this experience can be topped easily. If you are lucky to stay there you should consider yourself blessed. One of a kind property. Beautiful. Peaceful. We have stayed at many 4-5 star properties throughout Europe, many of which we struggle to remember. This one we will never forget. The attention to detail in the furnishings is world class. The setting is spectacular. The hosts are wonderful. And the sauna aufguss....wow.

Friendly reception with the suite in which we stayed in one of the annex buildings. The building is very authentic with a nice view on the surroundings. The village is very quiet, but that is good to unwind. Nature surroundings are very nice. Breakfast was well prepared with hotel manager preparing the tasty scrambled eggs at the buffet. Bathroom was renovated and good.

This place for me was the highlight of the whole trip. I was able to trully relax. It is perfect if you wish to disconnect from the hectic lifestyle and enjoy the nature. The apartment was nicely designed and offered absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner was amazing and offered all the information about nearby towns, bars, restaurants and places of interest. Sandra was attentive throughout our stay and made sure we enjoyed every moment of it.
