Shower very small Tap didn't work properly No carpet Room cold
Apparently it's more difficult than I realized to book correctly. I meant to book two nights for both couples, and got a phone call between the two nights that I needed to have been out by 10:00 a.m. that morning. It worked out, however.
Excellent location to train station, Vatican City and walking distance to major attractions. Hotel was clean and breakfast was filling. Reasonably price, very modest and truly served it's purpose (a safe and comfortable place to sleep). I would definitely stay there again.
Small shower, approximately 2 x 2, and poor sound proof, able to hear the person in the next room snoring throughout the night.
Is in a great location, about a 7-minute walk to St Peter's Square. Very clean room and bath. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.
Shower stall is incredibly small. I am petite but had to leave the shower door open in order to towel-dry. A couple of the staff are not friendly.
Had almost everything I needed in the cheapest room they had available.
Wasn't the best but ya get what ya pay for.
its about 5 mins from san pietro station. easy to find. just walk towards your right as soon as u come out from the main doors of the station then turn to first street, walk down, its on the left side just before a church. close to the basilica, bus station, train stations. just a few walk from decent restaurants. there are nearby cafe's, a salon etc. the night shift receptionist speaks english better and was very helpful. the morning shift was helpful too.
the double rooms space was too small for two adult with two big luggages. wi-fi was temperamental.
The room was clean, breakfast was OK.
Paper thin walls such that we could hear entire conversations from other rooms. Tile floors so we could hear every noise above us (chairs being dragged would wake the dead). WiFi connection was a joke. Too much air in shower head; not enough water. Bathroom tiny, room tiny.
Walk out the front door and you can see the Vatican. Very easy walk to everything.
The rooms were VERY small and checkout is at 1000
Beds were very uncomfortable
Convenient location for Vatican, restaurants and train. It was a delight to be able to look down the street just two blocks and see the dome of St Peter's. Close to several small produce shops for fresh fruit.
Breakfast was fair at best. Minimal fresh fruit, poor cereal selection, lots of fattening, high sugar pastry.
basic but clean room. excellent service from. very friwndly and acxomodative staff. thwy reaponded quickly to all our neesa
The location was excellent, within walking distance from St Peters square. The breakfast was also very nice and the staff was also helpful and friendly.
friendly staff, very good location, clean, everywhere wifi connection, possibility to print boarding pass or any documents, tasty breakfast
thin walls, you can hear toilete or shower pretty laud in a room- but not such a big deal
Wifi was good they computer however was very slow. No TVs in room but good working aircon. Friendly enough staff
Small shower! Informed reception about hair and dust under my bed that was not cleaned so a bit annoyed with that aspect
It was so wonderful to stay in this hotel. I really liked it. Staffs were so helpful in guiding me for the trip and seeing around the places. I really appreciate that.
At first we thought that Santa Maria Alle Fornaci is a bit away from historical sightings of Rome but when we got there we found out that the location is great. 2 minutes walk from Piazza San Pietro (yes, we saw Pope Francis) but away from the crowds and all the noise. At the first day we used the Rome metro to go to the historical center, but it wasn't so far away as it looked on the map. We don't mind to walk so the next days we didn't used any transportation. The staff is very friendly and helped us about everything. Grazie mille! The room was not very big but who stays in the room with so many things to see at Rome. It was very clean. The WiFi in the room was working all the time. Santa Maria Alle Fornaci is great place to stay in Rome.
I got lost trying to find the place, until I met A Young American who was training for the priesthood, and he kindly guided me in the right direction
The location was good near Vatican. The staff at the reception was very friendly.
The smell in the room, old and uncomfortable rooms
breakfast, air conditioning
The Staf is excelent as well the location. We spend 4 good nights and days here. Thenk You !
Efficient friendly staff, quiet, elevator, clean, excellent shower! Loved it.
Not close to Metro but walkable to all the sights
Great location, good connections, clean rooms, breakfast at a good standard and plentiful, helpfull staff.
In the morning(monday, thursday) at 7.00, 7.15 and 7.30 the bells of the basilica(next to the hotel) ring, some times you can hear the train.
Close to the Vatican city.
Small shower with fixed handle made it difficult to take a shower. A bit thin walls. Not close to the metro. Breakfast.
Staff was great, very friendly, spoke great english. We were a bit confused on where the hotel was but we figured out that it was connected to the Santa Maria church-big yellow church, can't miss it. Room was small but we did not need much, we were only in the hotel to sleep. Breakfast was satisfying. Overall, you cannot beat the location. Especially for the price! Step outside and you can see the Vatican to your left, barely a minute walk. Would absolutely stay here again!
