It is very well located
Inside is very basic and the breakfast not very good.
The staff. The girls at reception are LOVELY <3 <3 <3 It is in a great location, close to the Pont Veggio. The building is run by Franciscans. They are very kind and nice. The garden is a little Eden. You will love it.
Location and historic flavour.
interesting historic place
bathroom was private but outside the room, no tv, you can't park in the plaza, so you need to leave your car a few blocks form the hotel, you need to be back before 1 am, early checkout, towels could have been better
old building with high ceiling.
Off street parking for €10. Clean, comfortable room. Excellent situation, walking distance from Ponte Vecchio, Ufizzi Gallery etc.
The place was very interesting, as it was an old amazing mansion, I believe an old convent run by nuns. It was spotlessly clean, we had an amazing room with a huge bathroom, very modern and fresh. The accommodation was very basic but the whole place had a feeling of old greatness. The ceilings were Very high, giving the whole room an extra dimension. The linen towels in the bathroom was the little extra that made our day. There is also a beautiful garden outside for walking or relaxing. And of course it is right in the middle of Florence. Overall a very pleasant experience, we will be certainly going back there.
The breakfast was very basic, it was however adequate, the fresh fruits from their garden was a good note.
Breakfast, staff, rooms decoration
Air conditioning is a ventilator, wifi only in lobby
Great atmosphere, lovely palace and garden, near the center, very romantic and calm.
Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was very clean. Open windows with a nice view. Quiet and peaceful.
They won't let you in if you are back after 1am. Wasn't ever a problem for us, but will be if you like to be out late.
The calm and serenity, especially of the garden - away from the hordes of tourists crowding Firenze at this time of year (of which we were 4). Location is great, easy to park on site; beautiful building. Great to have internet access.
Very good location for visiting the old part of city. Parking place to be reserved having in view that there is not big parking lot. Acceptable breakfast.
wi-fi only at first floor and ground floor.
The location...we only had about a 10 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio
The fire alarm went off during the night and we had to phone to get someone to turn it off. The next day there was no comment by the staff. The breakfast was very basic
Quiet location next to Brancachi chapel and wonderful garden in the rear. Friendly staff was helpful. Lovely old building.
Staff messed up my booking and ultimately had another name rather than mine. I had to make a transatlantic call and several emails. Building is a bit plain--could use a wee bit of oomph since it could be just fantastic without spending a lot.
Location good for walking tours in Florence. Garden is great. Hospitality
12.06 when we reserve, the money was withdrawn from the card, the hotel said it's just a reservation. 16.06 when I paid at the end of stay, the payment was not an offset against the reservation but the second withdraw from the card. I kindly ask you to resolve this !!! Because otherwise you take 150 euro more.
Friendly staff, beautiful garden, atmospheric building, delicious breakfast, able to leave baggage after checking out
Huge rooms. Knowlegable staff. Neat atmosphere, lots of history. Excellent location, easy walking access to city. Parking was awesome.
Breakfast was sparce.
The helpful English speaking staff. The common areas & breakfast room. Quiet room with a great view. Not too far to walk to the center. Parking was a huge plus. We stayed here in 2000 and loved it even with the bathroom down the hall & little English spoken.
5 minutes walking distance from Ponte Vechio. Private parking in city center. Simple but clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.
I had a really great time and the breakfast was great as well. I would definitely recommend!
Very nice location, very friendly staff (some nuns included :-) ) easy parking
The comfort of the beds was very poor, it was unclear to us that the bathroom and toilet are not inside the room. the are privat, but outside of the room.
Felt right at home very central the sisters and staff were wonderful.
No air conditioning
Good breakfast, and each day we had the same table with our room number on it. Friendly an helpful staff. Easy walk to city center. Secure gated courtyard parking.
Driving a slightly large vehicle though very very narrow streets together there. But my wife and I are still on speaking terms. That's Italy.
Place is to go to worship and relax. Not for young people looking for amusement and fancy nights. Calm and very good location, offers parking for 10 euros/day, modest breakfast. Anyway if tired from walking Firenze a nice place to sleep only.
