Fun to stay away from the busy city and relax.
The location was a bit far out. However; the city bus could take you to the metro station.
The nuns were friendly and very helpful. They made us feel welcome. The room and bath were spotless and comfortable. The grounds had a beautiful scenic view of the valley below. It was a gated facility with free parking.
The location! Finding the hotel took more than a few hours for us. Also finding the bus stop was confusing, both at the starting point, and on the return trip. The bus driver would not stop at our stop when requested.
It is operated by nuns, so everything was nice and clean. The entire property is beautiful and well maintained by nuns. The nun who spoke some English (didn't ask the name) was friendly and helpful. It was quite an unique experience for someone without any religion.
The place was hard to find for us, Americans, so we didn't drive at night. Restaurant we went was just ok, nothing special even though we had a shuttle service. We took the bus from hotel to Rome. The bus stop was very hard to find when coming back. It is not their fault, but Italian bus system.
Lack of wifi in rooms
The nuns were very helpful, nice and friendly.
It was to far from the Vatican, Colliseum and other turists attractions. It took an hour each way and if you don't know the area very difficult:(
Clean, comfortable and felt safe...
Clean and tidy room, good food, friendly service and nice surroundings.
Inaccurate address causes trouble finding the location of the hotel
No food, no drinking, very remote
The staff were beyond helpful, the quiet and sleep were excellent and the wifi was surprisingly good
A little out of the way and hard to find at first but it didn't cause us any real distress thanks to the nuns help
Aquaparc nearby, an "unsafe" walk away though Friendly staff
The time it takes to go to go to the centre of Rome by public transportation, and taxi drivers taking a long road
Perfect hotel, clean, comfortable, excellent.
It was a quite neighborhood along the ring road. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. the price was fare, a good stay ...
The accommodation was run by nuns. it came as a surprise to me. Location is a bit off, so only go there if you are driving a car, otherwise you will have to pay alot for taxi as no bus or metro goes near it. it was a bit secluded, not many people inside, this combined with the odd view of nuns at the reception made it a bit scary though ! breakfast was not very colorful and the choices were both limited and poor ...
Very good comfort/price ratio
Weak knowledge of English
I had no idea what to expect but Sisters at reception was a little strange but th they couldn't have been more helpful. Quiet, peaceful place, very clean and slept very well. When asking for recommendations of where to eat they promptly phoned Sabine who came in her little Italian rust bucket and drove us to her restaurant and back again only charging for food! Brilliant. Easy bus ride to connect with metro into town and a bargain €1.50 for a 100 minute journey.
Original directions not via Termini very difficult, especially with a 100m walk alongside main road with no footpath!
Very nice place and people.
The 906 bus sometimes doesn't come for one hour and this is the only way to get to the city without a car.
clean,politeness of the staff
distance to the center of Rome
Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of parking. We took a day off sightseeing and went to the waterpark "Hydromania" only 400metres away. That was just what we needed and well worth it if you have kids.
It really is a long way out, a bus and 2 trains, which takes at least an hour if all works and you don't get lost, and it isn't a weekend. But the place felt like you were in a hospital, or an institution. Felt like we had to whisper and tip toe around. Had to buzz to get in and out of grounds, and then be back before curfew. Breakfast you never saw anyone, just a window open and they would whisk away the used tray and then slam the window again before you saw anyone, apart from the receptionist no-one would make eye contact. It was an interesting experience staying there, but too weird a feeling for us to do again. Kept imagining visions of "American Horror Story"
Clean. Sisters recommended a nice local taverna
hotel was difficult to find, as it is behind fence and no hotel signs are around. It is run by monks, children were shocked that religion signs are on every wall. Also _no pedestrian path_ to aqua park, despite it is 300m away. I have never met such poor breakfast before, coffee was definitely not from coffee beans.
Very secure and staff are very helpful.
In the country yet so near Rome. Simple peace of the place. 400 metres from free bus stop 906 into the Aurelia Metro station and a few stops to the Vatican.
The good link was not clear when we arrived and we spent a fortune on taxis. Phone not always answered in English.
GOOD PRICE, NICE STAFF,QUITE PLACE
The staff is very kind.
The place is far from the center of Rome and very poorly served by public transportation. There is a continuous background noise coming from the nearby motorway.
Location is not too bad as you can get easy to Rome with public transport. Nuns are excellent and helpful and hotel was clean and peaceful. Breakfast was good for price as well.
As we were group of friends going on trip around Italy and we were having great time no alcohol policy and all other restrictions (doors closed 11pm and other sins) this place was not for us and when I made a booking only then I realised what is it and there was 100% cancelation fee so couldn’t cancel my booking. However as I was driver it was nice break for me peace and quiet. There was only one electricity plug, it’s not enough for 4 people
staff attitude. breakfast is ok. Good for those who have their own car or transport.
Its too far away from city. We were having 2 days in rome to see the city as first timer and reaching here and then going back to city wasted lot of time> AC was not working in the room and we were advised to open the windows at night. It is very difficult to reach here from city centre. If it was not GPS and google map we had no idea where the bus no 916 will drop us. If u are a first timer in Rome and have shorter stay here this is not for you.
