Road noise from lake facing rooms

I agree with everyone else - the mother and daughter running the hotel were charming and spoke excellent English. Lovely lakeside walk into town and away from all the noise. We were on 2nd floor so good views of the lake. Good breakfast!

Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms not luxurious but clean with all usual facilities. Pool area in particular very good. Nice to have to lake views.

Big downside is the proximity to the busy road. Beware - the lake view also comes with a main road view! Better quality towels would have been appreciated....

Fabulous views of the lake, breathtaking!. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, anything you needed they were all happy to help. All staff spoke good English, which helped as our Italian is not great. Food was served within minutes of ordering, and totally delicious-especially the spaghetti bolognese-, good value for money. Our room had a great balcony, and so clean! In fact it is fair to say spotless. One thing we really were impressed by was that there was no hassle getting a sunbed by the pool at anytime of the day, always one available, and they even supplied comfy cushions to lay on, also had an umbrella and a little table. The pool was lovely, so clean and just the right size and the depth. We booked at the Casa Serena last minute, and could not have been happier with our stay, we were both quite bemused that is it a 2 star, definatley should be higher rated. All in all wonderful holiday, and we will be back!

Only one thing, and it didn't affect our fabulous stay, the hotel is on the main road and as we were at the front, it can be quite noisy, the road is busy, and there is a lot of traffic, but to be fair most of the hotels are on the front as it is the main road in and out. Wouldn't affect us going back again though! :) :)

The hotel was very clean,comfortable and very helpful and freindly staff. The rooms are cleaned on a regular baises with fresh towles etc. It is well situated only a 5min walk to the town and the pool area was surperb all in all a very pleasent stay and great value for money will def use this hotel again

Owners and staff were friendly. Nice swimming pool, which was very welcome in 34-37 degree heat. Compact and adequate rooms for budget hotel.

No air conditioning or ceiling fan in room, so rooms very hot even at night. Unable to leave patio doors open at night to try and obtain some cool air because the hotel is situated on a main road and the traffic noise was constant and prevented any chance of sleep. The traffic went on until after midnight and began around 6am with trucks, buses, cars, motorbikes, scooters and agricultural vehicles driving past. Therefore we had a choice of sleeping in a sweat soaked bed because of the heat in the room without any air or having no sleep because of the traffic noise.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Pool and garden area clean.

Rooms were very basic with no air-con. The hotel is next to the main road and was a little noisy at times.

Location and poolo area

A lovely hotel, with restaurant, pool, parking and wifi. A great location with a scenic lake-side walk into the town centre (about 10- 15mins) Extremely good value for money. The room was basic but had everything needed. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, balcony, tv and safe. We overlooked the pool and sun terrace, with mountain views. The staff are amazing - very helpful and friendly. The road at the front can be busy. Trying to relax on the balcony was difficult and I can imagine it to be very noisy if laying by the pool in the warmer weather. With the windows closed though, there was no issue. I would happily recommend this hotel and will definitely be going back there myself.

One possible issue would be lack of privacy for our room, if there were other residents making use of the sun terrace - which was literally adjacent to our balcony, but for us at this time of year was not an issue.

Die Lage, der Ausblick auf den See-die Berge-die Burg. Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit Schwimmingpool und Liegestühle. Freundliche Beratung und Tips zu Ausflügen in der Umgebung. Hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird von der eigenen Familie geführt.

Mi e'piaciuto la disponibilita' e la simpatia dei sig. Propitari e il rispetto dei clienti nel rispetto della gestione dei propri posti auto , con questo voglio dire si poteva uscire in qualunque momento della giornata che il posto auto scelto all'arrivo non cambiava,cosa improponibile per un italiano.

Mi e'dispiacito solo il non poter sfruttare la bella piscina causa mal tempo.

Die günstige Lage zum Zentrum von Malcesine und zum Monte Baldo, sowie in die Dolomiten.

Durch die direkte Lage an der Gardesana war es besonders nachts sehr laut, man konnte kaum schlafen bei einem Zimmer zur Seeseite. Außerdem war das Frühstück sehr einseitig, keine Abwechslung im Angebot, kein frisches Obst und Gemüse ( z.B. Tomaten ).

Die Zimmer die Seeblick - super - aber mann kann kein Fesnter in der Nacht auflassen, weil zu laut durch die Hauptatrasse.

Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, kein Kühlschrank.

Familiäre Atmosphäre und die zentrumsnahe Lage. Für unternehmungslustige Gäste das Ideale Ausgangshotel.

Die Kopfkissen. Verkehrsreiche Straße vor dem Hotel.

Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und das Hotel sehr sauber.

Einziger Wehmuntstropfen ist die Lautstärke der Hauptstraße, gerade wenn man ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den See hat. Der allerdings entschädigt.

V tomto hotelu jsme byli již podruhé a jsme spokojeni. Příjemný personál,dobrá poloha k jezeru i k městečku Malcesine. Vřele doporučujeme.

Jednotvárné snídaně-10dní stejné.

Le personnel est très gentil et disponible. Les chambres sont très propres et offrent une jolie vue sur le Lac. La piscine est très agréable.Excellent séjour.

Seul bémol, il n'y a pas la climatisation.

Manglende aircondition gør at man når det er varmt skal have åbne vindue og da der er meget støj fra veje både på front og bag ved hotellet, er det er kæmpe problem. Undgå værelse nr 13, eller andre værelser på 1 etage med bjerg udsigt da disse ligger kun 3 meter fra vej, med virkeligt meget støj.

Pulitissimo, staff cordiale e disponibile. ottimo rapporto qualità -prezzo; il piccolo giardino e la piscina dell'hotel sono un angolo di relax sorprendente e ben attrezzato per un due stelle.Perfetto per un fine settimana low cost di riposo!

Non c'era aria condizionata nella camera,ma si dorme bene di sera a malcesine, anche ad agosto.Non c' erano frigo in camera ne prodotti da bagno dell'hotel,ma a noi sono apparsi dettagli superfluità spetto ai lati positivi di questo hotel.
