Amazing location. The structure is sited in the main square in Barolo town. Clean and quite. The host called Angelo is a very nice old fashioned man, ask him for every needs and he will give you a good answer/tips. Enjoy his good wine directly from the wine cellar.
Poor breakfast in outside bar agreed upon with Casa Svizzera.
The little B&B is a nice place. The staff was helpfull and they had a place to our cars. Lovely room with tasteful furniture. A gem. Thanks to the owner.
I was worried how can I arrive in Barolo from Torino when planning the trip. Davide provided the detailed info and warm help upon that. The room is really big and well decorated. The view from small balcony is beautiful and I enjoyed the short stay in Barolo. The restaurant recommended impressed me a lot and I fell in love with Piedmont food:)
The owner/operator is very tuned into his hotel and cares for it. He is generous and informative. The unit is a quirky use of space and the terrace overlooking the streets below was a magic touch.
Barolo itself doesn't have a load to offer other than inotecas which all close at 7pm.
Best possible location and great facilities.
Entrance could use touch up and you have to carry your bags for 3 floors.
Hotel was excelent, there were all what You'll need at your holiday or your business. It felt like home or even more. Staff were very helpfull and pleasant. They had they own winery and are offering for tour in there - I can recomment that it's worth for visit.
Huge room, big bathroom, great shower and modern decor.
For breakfast you have to go to a cafe nearby and the breakfast is not very good.
Everything from start to finish! The welcome we received was lovely (even though she didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Italian!) the room was spectacular and very well equipped with quality furnishings and small balcony overlooking the square. We were offered wine tasting on arrival and tasted over 6 different wines. Our dog was also made very welcome. We were given recommendations for 2 restaurants. (We tried Osteria la cantinella - & would highly recommend this friendly family run restaurant). Breakfast was provided in a small cafe behind and even though we ordered more coffees and a bottle of water we were not charged extra. Parking the car was simple and secure. It was also no problem for us to leave the car there after check out to explore for the day. We will definitely came back again to stay at casa Svizzera without doubt and would highly recommend

excellent new facilities. Good position.
Big and beautiful apartment on the top floor in the old building. The bathroom was really nice and the view to La Morra from the shower was unique. It was also a small balcony with a view over the center in Barolo.
We were a little bit disappointed about the cleanness. We lived there for three nights and nobody was cleaning the room in these days.
Very cozy and modern room with nice view of vineyard Barolo and aroma smells in the whole room ,even the blanket! Plus , there are several bottles of wine in the room for us to choose just right after we checked in !!
Excellent property and great service . Recently renovated .
Location Room design and comfort
Nothing. Wonderful place
excellent location with superior furnishing and very friendly and courteous owner. Our family (with a small baby boy) was excited about the environment and we decided to extend our stay - for sure, a worth to come back next year.
The owner has renovated 3 rooms in what used to be the family home for 3 generations and has done an outstanding job of renovation - some of the best I have sever seen. He offers wine sastinf from his winery which is located a few km away. The rooms (almost suites) are on the European 1st and 2nd floors and he lives below the main floor reception area
Nothing. We would definately stay there again
The room was exactly as the pictures. A lovely old house with a nice, modern room. We loved staying there. Some years ago some guests complained about the breakfast but that certainly has improved. We can recommend Casa Svizzera.
It was the second time we stayed in Casa Svizzera Agriturismo. Great location with private carpark. Room was big with nice view. Breakfast improved, with more choices in a cafe nearby. Will definitely stay there again.
It would be excellent if make up room everyday.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good recommendation for dinner, and she made the booking for us. A wine tasting on arrival. A great supply of snacks and drinks in the room free of charge. A wonderful stop over.
Great location in the middle of Barolo city. The room completely refurbished with the best materials and very tastefully decorated. This applies to both the room and the bathroom. We had a small balcony where we enjoyed views of the rush of people in the town square wearing a small glass of house own stunning barolo red wine. We can only recommend this B and B. It is the best room we have ever had on our numerous trips to Italy and in the middle of Barolo town with castle, authentic environment and fantastic wine bars on the doorstep
