An ancient noble Palace of the XVI-century, this hotel is located just 100 metres from Piazza San Marco.

Hotel Casa Verardo features 2 splendid, traditional living rooms; 2 sunny terraces, overlooking the canal; a Venetian courtyard and; a cosy lounge-bar. The hotel also has an internet point.

Carefully restored to maintain the original 16th century features, the hotel is officially recognised as one of the few 'Residenza d'Epoca' in Venice. It offers a fusion of historic surroundings and modern technologies, in a private, central and charming area of Venice.

During the day you can relax and soak up the sun from the top-floor terrace where you can take in the enchanting 360° view of Venice.

The hotel is charming and the staff very helpful. It is in an excellent location on 5 minutes walk to the main sights. There is a lovely square within a minutes walk and you feel you are away from the crowds. We would definately stay there again.

The receptionist was helpful and polite. The cleanliness was good.

The breakfast was plain and absolutely identical every single day = Groundhog Day but without the humour. The kingsize bed was two single mattresses pushed together. The hotel staff were noisy on the stairs early in the morning.

it is really 2 minutes walk from piazza san marco, the hotel itself is very nice, the room was unexpectedly big and very clean, the staff and breakfast ok.

The staff was great, so was the breakfast. My room was spacious, unusual for a European hotel room. I like the location as well, though I would not recommend finding it at night. I would definitely come back again!

location is in to san marco

no clear direction/map from ferry terminal to hotel location, ended up with asking local residents few times.
