Casafrassi is an 18th-century villa located in a panoramic setting less than 5 minutes’ drive from Castellina in Chianti. This large estate boasts a small wellness centre, outdoor pool and tennis courts. This converted farmhouse is home to charming rooms decorated in a typical Tuscan style. All come with satellite television, mini bars, and lovely views of the countryside. Breakfast at Casafrassi is served buffet style. It consists of sweet and savoury food such as homemade cakes, biscuits, eggs and bacon, hot drinks and fruit juices. Horse-riding excursions, cultural tours, cookery lessons and much more can be arranged. While you’re here take the opportunity to visit the property's wine cellars and taste the Casafrassi's own meats, oil and wines. The property has its own restaurant and bar. I liked the way the room was furnished. I loved the ambience of the buildings and grounds. I regret not having time to enjoy what looked like a lovely menu for dinner.

The wine bar was nice and the woman who served us was friendly and helpful. we had a wine tasting. We did not use the dining facilities The check in was difficult and the reception clerk (male) was not friendly or helpful. Our room was sparse and the building was musty and dank smelling. We did not feel welcomed by the staff at the reception

Sehr schön gelegen, freundliches, authentisches Personal, Herzlichkeit, sauberer Pool, Spielplatz mit guten Spielgeräten, Tischtennistisch Frühstück Auswahl ok, Produktqualität genügend (Konfitüre schmeckt nach nichts, Brot ist so gut, )

De ligging is aantrekkelijk, maar wel erg afgelegen. Het seizoen was nog maar net begonnen en wij waren bijna de enige gasten. De kamer was vochtig en klam en moeilijk comfortabel warm te krijgen. Zelfs onze kleren werden klam. De inrichting van de kamer verdient geen 4 sterren. Het ontbijt was ronduit slecht. Wat wij de ene dag niet opaten, kregen we de volgende dag weer aangeboden.

La tranquilité et l'accueil , de grand espace aussi bien intérieur qu'extérieur. Le personnel est charmant ainsi que celui de la partie restaurant. La seule petite "critique " c'est l'entretient des fleurs les pauvres elles ne sont pas arrosées assez souvent elles font triste mines.

Ottima posizione,albergo ed agriturismo favolosi esteticamente. Personale un pò freddino e poco efficiente....infatti non sono stati in grado di sostituire il decoder tv...difettoso!!!...quindi niente televisione!!!

La posizione e la tranquillita' del posto. Panorama e paesaggi incantevoli. Ogni tanto c'eranp problemi con l'erogazione dell'acqua corrente ma il problema rientrava abbastanza alla svelta.

Cadre et situation géographique exceptionnels pour découvrir la Toscane: Sienne, Florence, le Chianti... Le soir en rentrant d'excursion on apprécie le calme, le cadre et le service simple et discret ainsi que le restaurant de qualité. L'hôtel est une belle "Villa" typiquement toscane très bien mise en valeur et entretenue. Nous avons adoré sa situation, niché au coeur de la campagne, des vignes et des oliviers.

La posizione dell'hotel è meravigliosa Appena arrivato in hotel un ragazzo dello staff non è stato molto cordiale,dava per scontato che conoscessimo il percorso per andare al parcheggio dietro la struttura, rispondendo ad una mia affermazione di chiarimento in maniera molto indispettita e con un fare da presa in giro che sicuramente rovinano tutta la poesia di una vacanza. Se l'hotel vuole crescere dovrebbe sbarazzarsi di alcuni individui che non amano il proprio lavoro. La colazione poteva essere migliore, specialmente il caffè e il cappuccino, amaro, insipido, imbevibile. Peccato perché la struttura è veramente molto bella.

Der Landgasthof liegt inmitten von Weinbergen und bietet eine fantastische Aussicht auf die Landschaft. Die Nähe zu Siena (9km) und anderen kleineren Ortschaften (San Gimignano, Castelina in Chianti) und Weinanbietern ist optimal. Von hier kann man schöne auch etwas längere Touren unternehmen und vor allem sehr guten Wein kaufen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein eigenständiges Restaurant ist angegliedert, sodaß man abends sein Glas Wein genießen kann, ohne Serpentinen fahren zu müssen. Die Speisen sind regional und sehr lecker. Es ist ein sehr ruhiges Hotel, nichts für Partypeople und den einzigen Luxus den es bietet ist ein natürlich-romantisches Ambiente.

Avevamo trovato l'offerta lampo che prevedeva la camera con le travi ai soffitti affacciata sulle colline ma all'arrivo ci hanno cambiato stanza. Comunque siamo stati bene,buono anche il ristorante vicino.

Die Anlage des Hotels ist traumhaft.Das Personal überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich, Das Essen im Restaurant sehr gut. Leider entspricht das Angebot am Frühstücksbuffet nicht dem Preis.

Casafrassi has a perfect location and the resort has an extremely romantic setting. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is clean and there is a lot of service available within the resort (E.G. wine tasting, restaurant). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone willing to visit Chianti. The breakfast was extremely minimalistic. Warm eggs were not available after 9:00 am even though breakfast was served till 10:30. Also don't be shocked to see a bunch of senior citizens in the resort. Young couples are endangered species in casafrassi. The benefit is that the hotel is a very quite and romantic place.
