Great spot in Tuscan countryside Newly renovated property is very nice Restaurant attached to the location is good
The owner's outside dog barked every night around midnight, sometimes for hours. Woke us up every night. Young man who interfaced with us was nice enough and efficient, but offered very short answers, sometimes simply "I don't know" without any follow up. Not exactly as inviting, helpful, and interested as B&B owners we've experienced in the past. We didn't really feel welcome, had to eat breakfast in silence. We were hoping for more. Room didn't get cleaned at all one day without explanation or apology.
Close proximity to Cortona.
Barking dog all night long! possibly the owners?? Impossible to sleep!
Beautiful location and big modern rooms. Very friendly Staff and they spoke great English. Home cooked Italian dinners were great. We would stay again and stay longer the next time. Great value.
A very relaxing place. Beautiful location, excellent value for the amount charged, and a very good staff who was friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the fact that it is a family owned/run bed and breakfast, only has six bed rooms, and is a very low key and casual place. We used it as a base while visiting other east and southern Tuscany towns . Cortona itself is quite nice and picturesque and worth spending 1/2 day or so exploring the steep hills ide town. We really enjoyed our stay!
A bit challenging to find the first time. After finding it the first time though it was very easy to get to and from in our rental vehicle.
Clean, attractive apartment and grounds, good breakfast and close to site visiting.
Hard to find location (at first), barking dogs outside of apartment at night and rooster crowing in morning.
We would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you want beautiful surroundings great service and homestye Italian cooking. Extremely well run family business very close to the old city of Cortona.
Great staff excellent meals provided especially dinner after a long day walking Cortona
Never, no never make a reservation in a hotel with a restaurant. We especially chose the hotel because of the country quiet and because of the restaurant. Upon arrival we were told the restaurant was fully booked with a baptising party, so no dinner, we came from Cortona and had to go back to Cortona. Upon arriving at the hotel after having dinner elsewhere it was a terrifying noise, screaming kids, noisy adults. no excuses were made, we just had to accept it. The evening ended with cars leaving the parking place, just below our window. A bad night!!!!
Very clean room. Tranquility. Friendly staff.
The hotel is very beautiful and clean, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The bed is very confortable, as well as the bathroom. Lovely decorations. The hotel is located outside of Cortona, in the country side, with a nice view.
Very Italian country style, love it.
Good quality housing and establishment
Wifi is a bit hit and miss
The building is beautiful, what a great courtyard. Everywhere you smell lavender. Great view of the landscape. Breakfast on the Terrace is lovely.
Even though the personal was friendly, we missed the warm hearted athmosphere that this place should have. It needs a bit more personal touch.
Breakfast was OK and restaurant was very good. Very clean, nice rural location ( you wake to the sound of roosters and the smell of cows and hay).
WARNING: restaurant is closed on Monday (fair enough) so you have to drive to get an evening meal. It's not far but not a drive to do at night after a few beers or glasses of wine. You have to eat out coz there's no table and chairs in your room for a take-away even if you could get one. No electric kettle for a late night camomile. It's NOT in Cortona.
Friendly owners; good dinner available in their restaurant; reasonably close to Cortona.
Breakfast was limited; room had musty odor.
very lovely room and bathroom, great restaurant the best food I had in terms of quality and value for money in three weeks in Italy, very quiet location
pillows a bit hard, absolutely must have a car with this B and B
Beautifully restored villa, great location...amazing food!! Recommend highly!
