Good value, spacious room, in nationale parc, great shower, TV, distance to centre of Pisa (by car), two very nice beaches within driving distance, stables below rooms!
No air con in our room, could do with a sign post on SS1!
The location was perfect. In the middle of a national park slipping beside a farme with horses and much more. Really relaxing atmosphere in the middle of nature. The restaurant is simply perfect with local hunting dishes.
The bathroom was a bit small.
Great for spending a calm moment in nature, great value for money, very clean and pretty room
as we did only stay for one night, we could not explore the natural reserve as this is only possiblerwith guided tours during the day
In the wild life. Outside is beautiful
The room has no window, and very small. Bathroom is very smelly.
Good value for money. Quiet place.
But poor choices for breakfast, and tours not even offered in English. This place has a high potential but the management seems not aware of it.
Parkland setting Breakfast Dinner in the cafe Horses in the room below
Donkey in the middle of the night sofa bed (3rd in triple room) was a bit hard
Pisa is vers nearby, even on the bikes we rent.
Difficult to find and there was no access to the sea.
Ancient hunting stables turned into an hotel. Easy car ride to Pisa but Pisa sightseeing buses pass by the door. Superb grounds, lots of wildlife, foxes, frogs, deer, horses etc. all outside your door. Great restaurant. Plenty of space for the kids to run around without traffic.
Needs a full day to explore the grounds and take the horse and cart ride. We only had one night.
An unusual but charming location, the hotel is located in a nature reserve. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good. It's less than 15 mins into Pisa but it feels very secluded. A lovely place to stay. It's a good idea to check the location and directions before hand as it could be a little tricky to find (don't get put off by the barriers/entrance to the nature reserve - just keep going and you will start to see the signs)
The surroundings are brilliant and the rooms are Nice.
Nice park and pine trees.
Smell of animals. The most of the park is restricted area thus no access to the beach (ended up driving for 25 min. to the nearest one). We tried to walk a bit off the main road of the park and was turned back by the police.
Beautiful hotel in the middle of (almost) wild nature. Rooms are huge and designed with Italian taste. From the large windows you can see horses and surrounding nature. Everything is clean and neat. Breakfast was delicious and parking was provided. Pisa is approx. 10 min car ride away and after visiting Pisa landmarks all day we were looking forward to relax in the calm atmosphere of this beautiful place. We wished we could extend our stay for more days - that good it was.
Maybe I haven't understand the receptionist well, but the sea is not accessible at all (not via car or by foot). That's not a mistake of the hotel - it is a protected area with wild life.
Good value and fantastic location
to recommend. everything was perfect.
Lovely place, we will return! They helped with directions so we could easily find the place, very comfy and clean room. You can rent a bike and visit the park a bit...a place full of history that worth being (re)discovered :)
Location was brilliant Food good too
The receptionist was not helpful at all during the receptionist! Maybe it was new or i don't know!
Everything! From the friendly and helpful staff when booking in, through the comfortable clean well appointed room and the excellent setting it was hard to fault.
Nice building and area
Gate closed at night, no access to area. Limited possibilty to have evening meal.
We liked everything about the hotel. The staff was very welcoming.Free breakfast was a treat. The room was very comfortable & had a little privacy too. The kids bunk beds were in the adjacent room. This is a great resort hotel with numerous activities for all ages, specially for the kids. Pisa tower is a just a few minutes drive away. The overall experience was worth the money paid. Would highly recommend if you wish to stay in the nature away from the usual city like hotels
The hotel was hard to locate at night time. The gps did not work that well so plan your trip to the Hotel in the day time
Night porter was really great. Restaurant on site was great
Lock was weird to use isolated cold water problem
clean, relativelly friendly staff
lots of moskytos!!! Repelent required!!!
The hotel is situated in a forest. Very nice and big room.
We had a big problem to find the hotel even with the navigation.
- Good value for money - Comfortable/Clean/scpacious -Breakfast is OK but not exceptional. At least in Italy you can always order a real espresso from the bar if you need. -If you like nature, then this the perfect place to be
-Difficult access: Located in a natural park not easy to find even with a GPS. Make sure you have the coordinates and don´t drive in the dark. - Reception closed at 8 pm
Location is very nice if you travel by car to Pisa.
They did not have bikes to rent, even they advertised so.
