The staff were excellent, the food in the restaurant was faultless. The option to dine in the pizza restaurant was not indicated to us but is a good alternative. The bus travel for us was not easy to negotiate to Verona central from this location and no information was provided by our host.
shower over the bath was not the best. Engaging the shower head did not work very well.
Great view from the hill, especially in the evening, small olive garden, way to Verona center (by car) takes about 10-15 minutes, free parking. Restorant, cafe pizza are several steps up. Appartment with good kitchen, bedrooms have individual climate. Thanks to Barbara, she is very friendly.
Practically no breakfast - only juice/tea with some sort of cake. No food service at daytime - restorants are open from 19 to 22. Music and noise at this time. You can hear noise from the road. Staff have no or too weak english except Barbara. No pool. Each time when you drive to the town, you need to find parking - it can be difficult - pay for it and after then walk to your destination for 15 minutes. May be you should prefer appartments or hotel with private parking in the town center.
Fabulous adjoining Restaurant. half meter pizza homemade to share with choice of fillings. Meet and Greet very friendly.
Breakfast menu lacking slightly.
The staff were great.
It's really over priced, it's mentiond in booking.com that the flat I choosed is 2 bedroom with size of 123 square meter. Well, it's impossible to be more than 60 Square meter. They put 2 single beds in the living room & they call it bedroom then there will be no place to set. I wad misled buy the description of thr room in the website which unsual for booking.com.
The location was very good for us because we had a car and were using Verona as a base to explore other Northern Italian destinations. The apartment was newly furnished and very clean with a small kitchen and a washing machine, which was very handy (you need to ask for a drying rack which they will gladly provide). The A/C worked well. Barbara was a very accommodating host and provided a nice breakfast each day. There are 2 restaurants adjoining the property, one formal the other casual with an outdoor terrace that has a wonderful view of Verona. We watched the final game of the World Cup on the terrace -- very nice. The grounds are lovely with olive and fruit trees.
We would prefer an enclosed shower rather than the hand-held shower. We had to ask for fresh towels (which were gladly provided). The parking can get tight and the DJ music can get a little loud when they host parties/weddings.
Position, style, atmosphere, garden
Breakfast, breakfast, breakfast....You should give up the breakfast, because you understood nothing about breakfast.
Comfortable room for our family of five. Attractive property with nice views over Verona
Because we couldn't communicate well with the staff, we were not able to pay for our accommodation using our preferred credit card. One of the reasons we like B and B's is that we can get local advice, but the hostess was not available to speak to in person during our stay.
Barbera was wonderful. All staff very friendly. Excellent restaurants on site. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very effective air conditioning. Stunning views of Verona from hillside location.
The apartment is really set up for 4 people max. It was somewhat problematic to put in an extra bed.
Very well located if you have a car. Amazing view and atmosphere!
The sofa bed was not that comfortable.
The garden in front of the location is excellent, you can relax outdoors in a silent surrounding with a beautiful view down to Verona. The apartments are clean und have a good size, the staff is friendy.
The breakfast is not that big
Great view overlooking verona. Great staff, very friendly. Although it is on a hill overlooking verona, away from the bustle and traffic, it conveniently has an upscale restaurant , a pizzaria/bar, and a bus stop adjacent to the hotel.
The hide-a-bed my kids slept on was apparently very saggy and uncomfortable.
