Location was ok just outside of the old town and within close proximity to the bus terminal. Breakfast was nothing to get too excited about. A good fallback option of you are struggling to find something at this price.

Thje staff were VERRY friendly and helpful, we travelled in a group requiring 3 rooms, the single room was dark but others very clean. Location for Syracusa is excellent for the old town. Breakfast good. Parking is "On Street" however only charged from 1600-2000 and 0900-1300 at 0.60 Euro cents. One single room darkish, and one double room had ants.

Lovely, big and comfortable rooms. Very quiet. A ten minute walk to the historic centre. As others have mentioned the only downside is the absolutely poor coffee. The rest of breakfast is very good. How can they get the coffee so wrong?

Good location, quite close to the hystorical part of town and station, the receptionist was helpful with finding bus connections to other towns When we arrived we were showed to our room which to receptionist surprise was not ready , instead of being taken to other rooms, as the hotel was almost totally free we were told to wait until the room gets cleaned.

Nice clean room with no tv, friendly staff, good value for money within easy walk to harbour. Breakfast was alittle poor ,a slection of fruit would have been nice, also a boiled egg, this was only available one morning.

Great location between most city sites. You can walk easily to the historic quarter. The price was appropriate. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. Our room was large enough and the bathroom and shower (small) were serviceable. I froze despite the heater which looked too much of a fire hazard to keep on - iffy electrical cord, gave entire room a bright orange glow. Had to turn it off if we wanted to be able to sleep without worrying about the place going up in smoke.

Great villa, nice room, with balcony. Great breakfast, with lots of food and drinks. Very nice breakfast/ living room. Great location - 10 minutes walk to the old city - Ortigia and 10 minutes from bus/ railway station. Casa mia is not a hotel, is a b&B. The reception and all services closes at 8 pm and there is no one to help you! The matrimonial bad is actually 2 beds put together. During night, they broke apart and created a gap of about 10 cm between them. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The heating did not work in our room, so in the first night we had about 15 degrees celsius in our room - very very cold. When we found this out, is was after 8 pm so there was no one to help us heat or change the room. Very disturbing and very cold. For the second night, we had a portable heating device - it did the job. There are no glasses in the room. When we got back to the hotel, we wanted to have a glass of the good wine we just bought, but surprise! No glasses in the room and being after 8 pm, there was no one at the reception to give us the glasses. So... We drank from the bottle. Not nice... Also no fridge in the room. No tv remote for the first night, and the tv didn't start without one. Sometimes, a very nasty smell in the bathroom which came and go.

Our stay was for 7 nights. We were extremely pleased at the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and at the service from the owner and staff of the hotel, all of whom were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts on offer were legendary. The internal decor of the hotel was in keeping with the historic character of the building, and the public areas were easy spaces to relax in. We came and went as we pleased, and the overall standard we enjoyed was well above what might be expected from the majority of B&Bs, and all at a very reasonable price. Casa Mia is thoroughly recommended to anyone visiting Syracusa. Mike and Jenny Reed

The quad room which we booked was in fact two adjoining rooms, so plenty of space for our family of four. The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is a short walk to Ortigia and other sights around the city. We had no problem parking on the street in front of the hotel. The hotel has a couple of reserved places, but other on-street parking is available at times and the staff will tell you if your car is parked safely. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were not able to connect to the wireless internet from our room - it worked intermittently in the communal areas.

Location, parking in front of the hotel Spartan arrangements of our room. There was only one chair, no tv, no any kind of devices(even glasses to drink a water). Hot water in the bath with very low preasure(it was cold weather and we didn't succeed to take a shower. Even, we booked triple room with breakfast - breakfast was canceled for us with explanation that will be holiday. Finally, person that met us, asked me to pay on arrival. Instead 65 euro(as per my booking for triple), he asked me to pay 75 euro without issued me any kind of bill. This is my first(and hope last) incorrect offer from Booking.com. People in this hotel were for me absolutely incorrect!!!!

Conveniently located a short walk from the bridge to Ortigia, this hotel is located in a beautiful building with a lovely internal courtyard. The breakfast and living room area have a quaint charm. Breakfast was great! The staff are very sweet and helpful. This hotel is great value for price. Slightly humid. There was no tv in our room, but for us it was more of an advantage than disadvantage.

Location and parking possibilities. The room at "garden" level was dull and rather small for four. Cleanliness of bathroom could be improved.

The hotel was lovely, very intimate and staff helpful and friendly. Had plenty of areas to relax when you wanted to get out of your room. Free WiFi which was a bit hit and miss in room but could be picked up in various areas. Free use of laptop in reception area. Very handy for Ortygia Island where you could spend hours wandering around old town as well as pick up boat trips. No tea and coffee facilities. Our room was quite damp due to a roof leak which looked like a longstanding problem by state of ceiling. This was not a huge problem and overall the hotel was lovely, very traditional furnishings.

Location, decoration of quaint style, good value for money - cheaper and looking nicer than similar b&b in Ortigia island. Breakfast in the patio is lovely. No service after 8pm and so we couldn't get hot water to make tea. Kitchen, living room are locked when the staffs are off duty. What a waste for the lovely living room! The biggest drawback is there's no window in the room and no shutter on the door open to the patio. Thus, you either leave the door open which is not safe, either feel stuffy with the door closed. And no one mentioned it in review or description.

Nice elegant style, pleasant staff, good size room. Good location between the bus and train station and the historic city/island. A b&b, not an hotel really - no tv or fridge. A slightly bad sewerage smell common in low lying parts of European cities.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Casa Mia was a palazzo converted into a charming little hotel still owned by the original family. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations and their grandmother's delcicious cake recipe. Convenient to Ortigia. Easy to park on the street around the corner.
