Score from 105 reviews Very good
The location was very close to Ortigia Island, a short walk from the bus / train terminal and a couple of blocks from a laundromat. We found a great restaurant nearby, Amima Sicula (5 Via della Dogana), that served great antipasti.
Flimsy plastic cups in the room. We had to ask for real glasses. Tragic when you consider Italy is the home of fine glassware!
Great breakfast, Marco and staff were very helpful and friendly, sent us to a local trattoria up the road which suited us fine. Rooms are spacious and clean. Marco should work for the Siracusa tourist board he is so enthusiastic. We were able to park in the courtyard, which was great.
Outside shady space was lovely. Breakfast was well organised and could be eaten outside
lack of wifi - not working properly initially but did work latterly - 3 night stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the location was excellent.
Amazing location just besides Ortigia, easy to park, lift in the building, clean, nice staff, beautiful hotel, very well kept!
The beds are a bit hard, noisy
Delightful place in perfect location for a short walk to the historical sites and to the lovely Island ortigia on the doorstep. The place is lovely and the staff are just wonderful. 10/10
The Staff, the location, the breakfast, the price - all excellent.
Although you advertised " Free Parking", this is not strictly true, as you have only 2 Parking spaces available - so you have to be very very lucky to get Free parking - fortunately we were very very lucky when we stayed.
Location and character of hotel, which makes it ideal as a budget hotel close to tourist facilities. Free public parking on side-roads close to the hotel should be no problem.
Walking distance to Ortigia - and the hotel is beautiful! Cannot fault it!
Great location close to Ortigia and within walking distance to the archeological sites. Helpful staff and would highly recommend this place
Hotel set in a good location for all ammenities
Hotel had a sewage problem permanent bad smell in courtyard area maintenance men had septic tank open during day trying to sort it. Lift out of order when we arrived, leaving us to negotiate two flights of stars with our cases
Casa mía is a little charming hotel in the Heart of Siracusa, very close to Ortigia Island. Clean, confortable and the staff is very kind.
The hotel is very well located, right between the stations (both bus and train) and Ortigia, which is only a 5 mn walk. The antic town is also a walkable distance, a bit farther. The hotel and the rooms are really nice and confortable, with large bathrooms (at least ours) and the staff is helpful and pleasant. We were really happy and would definitely consider booking in Casa mia hotel if we plan to come to Syracuse again !
The wifi connexion did not work in our bedroom and demanded us to stay on the terrace... Mind you, there is worse than this, and this is the very only flaw we saw while staying there.
Hotel location , good servis
In the first floor the room without windows ,not good ventilation
Very helpful staff. Room is very clean. Good breakfast!
The bed is a little bit old and noisy. Wifi is only available on the terras and lobby.
The hotel is furnished in a very interesting manner, lots of fun to explore
There is no private parking
Location is very, very good just a few minutes from Ortigia, hotel is very beatiful and comfy!
Great location, nice staff
Internet works only from outside of room, but nothing else
Within walking distance from both the bus terminal (which has connections to Catania Airport and also Taormina) and Ortigia's center. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well provided. With a lovely courtyard and a tasty breakfast, Casa Mia is a perfect accommodation.
It was stuck in a shopping mall up several floors. The breakfast was pretty yucky with ultra sweet juice and poor coffee. Overall not good value for money
We like the facilities very nice dining area, the room is good and clean. Breakfast very good with choices of fruit, savouries, and sweet cakes. Walking distance to sights and shop. Most of all the staff is very helpful and it's a bonus because Donnatela speaks fluent English. I will stay with them again next time.
The noise from door banging when guest returning at night time. It waked us up.
The set up of this hotel was lovely. There was a shared courtyard, a charmingly decorated lounge and breakfast room with a small terasse. The room was spacious clean, quiet and comfortable. And breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. It was a short walk down the Main Street to historic Ortigia. We wished we'd stayed longer than 1 night.
It was too bad the wifi didn't reach into our room, but it was easy and comfortable enough to access it in the lounge and the courtyard.
The location is perfect, near to the bridge to Ortigia and near to the bus station. Very quiet place.
No wifi in the room.
perfect location; helpful staff, good breakfast with wide choice of food; free bicycles; great old building
It should have been made clearer that breakfast was not included and that there was no wifi.
