I liked the location and proximity to Piazzo San Marcco as well as to the water boats. It was easily accessible from both spots. The neighborhood is generally nice. I like that the hotel had AC; many of the others I've stayed in Italy do not have AC so this was nice. The staff was helpful and answered all my questions. |

The buffet breakfast and location of the hotel were excellent. Hotel was very easy to find with accurate directions on the hotel website. We checked in very late to a room in another block away from the main hotel on the first night and were awoken at 7am by the noise from a jack hammer right under our bedroom window...... The room was extremely hot, there was an air conditioning unit but it was set at reception at 22 degrees and we had no control over it, it could have been a lot lower. |

The location of the hotel was excellent. We liked the breakfast room as well. Conveneint to San Marco and to water transportation. Our section did not have an elevator which could be a problem for some. |

Professional staff, nice breakfast, good location 5 minute walk from S Zacaria and from Piazza S marco. The first room was large and very comfortable but had a continuous noise from a generator. We had to move to a smaller room. The TV remote did not work. |

Nice breakfast, nice room, nice service, very close to the Piazza San Marco (less than 5 minutes walk). We had to wait on line for breakfast one morning since all tables were taken. (We did however take advantage of the room service that was free for our booking package (Venice in Love deal) and took our breakfast in our room ). We would appreciate a single king-size bed instead of two small ones put together, but other than that the beds were ok. |

The hotel was ideally located for exploring Venice and had a real feeling of age about it. Our room looked over the canal and was sumptuosly furnished. |

The staff were very pleasant and helpfull. The breakfast was excellent for continental menu. Our package included discounts on a number of restaruants but unfortunately they were very expensive and not particularly good. We found our own. No lounge or bar. Venice is the most expensive European City we have visited. Orchestras in St Marks Sq. play to themselves as very few can afford to pay 10 euros for a cup of coffee. A tea and coffee making facility would be apprieciated. More shelves in the bathroom. |

the breakfasts were good, continental with lots to eat we ordered a double bed but we got 2single beds pushed together. we asked for a change but they said this was the norm. basically not ideal for a romantic week away when you cant cuddle up together at night because the beds keep seperating!!!! |
