Clean with modern facilities in a quiet location in the heart of Venice.Breakfast was excellent. Fairly difficult to find. No transport to hotel. If your room is on the top floor be prepared to carry your bags up a winding staircase.

It is ideally located in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes from the bus station. We had a lovely big room which was very well appointed. It was spotless and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and if the weather had been friendlier we would have enjoyed breakfasting on the rooftop garden area. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was a surprise as they seemed to have thought of everything else! So i would take a travel kettle, which thankfully we did! the hairdryer wasn't really that great - it wasn't particularly powerful, but it does save you taking your own.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts offer good value and a variety of choices--and the morning breakfast room is a delight, especially the view on the garden and natural light. The location is very convenient to vaporetto stops and also for walking to a mix of major and special sites. Good restaurant choices nearby ---and a 10 - 15 minute walk to either bus or train stations. Very quiet, comfy and surprisingly spacious rooms.

Our room was excellent; it was spacious and architecturally attractive. The cleanliness and stylish decor almost made it seem like a Disney version of a Venice hotel. Breakfast was more than adequate and if the weather had been a bit better, it would have been ideal to eat on the covered terrace. The entry porch was a nice place to enjoy take-out pizza from down the street.

Ca' San Rocco is in a lovely residential area, but very near to shops and restaurants. It is not far from Piazzale Roma, making it convenient to the cruise port (via the People Mover) and Marco Polo Airport (via an express bus). The gracious owners and hosts are two sisters. They were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Ours looked into a residential courtyard. Breakfast included cereal, pastries, toast, ham, cheese, yogurt, and beverages. There is a wonderful cafe steps away, which serves delicious pastries, coffee, wine, and beer! And the Blues Cafe in the neighborhood was our favorite place to have a small meal or wine and beer. I would highly recommend Ca' San Rocco to travelers who prefer calm surroundings. Because it is gated, and requires two keys to enter, it is also very secure. There is no lift, or elevator, which means carrying luggage up 1 or 2 flights on a curved staircase. But, this is the situation in nearly every Venetian hotel. Travelers to Venice should pack light (we will next time!).

Nice b&b in Venice. Lovely garden if you want to relax outside. Breakfast was great. Close to the train and bus stations. Close to the DaVinci museum where there is cheap pizza/gelateria on that same square. Great to help the budget. Venice is expensive but this was a good choice. In room WiFi would have been nice.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the hotel was clean and quiet (important for our 20-month-old daughter). Breakfast was lovely on the terrace. We thought it was a bit out of the way to begin with, but Venice - even with a buggy - was easy to navigate with the advantage that you could come home to a peaceful retreat.

Great location: quiet neighbourhood, close to the train and bus/vaporetto station. The hotel is within walking distance of the main sights, but then again, Venice is a rather small city. We absolutely loved the breakfast terrace. And not to forget, very helpful and friendly staff. We were on the first floor, next to the breakfast room. The walls seemed to be quite thin and we were woken up early by the noise of other guests. We also had quite some noise from the room above ours. So try to ask for a room on the top floor.

It was quiet clean and secure. We liked the breakfast. We did not like carrying our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs with no elevator and the bed was not that comfortable for the price that they charged for the room. The front office personnel were not that friendly. There was not enough space for toiletries in the bathroom. T

Perfect location in the quiet place with a private garden, close to the main attractions of the city, station and bus terminal. The room was spotless for the whole stay, spacious and furnished stylishly. The bed is comfortable with high quality linen. The bathroom is large and fully equipped with all necessary items. The continental breakfast served on the terrace was enough to start the day of sightseeing. We'd like to come back! You can hear every step of the neighbours upstairs. Is it because of the neighbours' weight or due to the building being rather old? In any case it's not the owner's fault!

We seldom stay in hotels because they provide far more than our needs. What we want is a clean comfortable well appointed room with ensuite bathroom and a good breakfast. That is exactly what the Ca' San Rocco provides as well as being very convenient for the rail and bus stations as well as the main attractions of Venice. We liked the quiet situation and the proximity of the shady first floor terrace to a lovely garden with many trees in a city with so few green spaces. The staff were most helpful and responded promptly any request. Highly recommended.

The room we had was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom is spacious with nice interior color. As it was a small hotel so we dont expect much but the room is nicely decorated and the front porch area was cosy for evening drinks. A queit location with a lot of privacy which was great from all the hustle&bustle around Venice. Breakfast was limited. No toaster available. And such a pity the balcony area for breakfast is closed at other times. It would've been a nice place for your guests to chill out as it's a balcony with cosy garden view & quiet surrounding...

This was a wonderful little bed/breakfast! It was clean, bright, and cheery! It was also within walking distance from the bus station. The room and bath were spotless. I felt like I was in an old fashioned ladies' bedroom. Although I was not impressed with Italian breakfast at any hotel I stayed at during my trip, theirs was in a beautiful breakfast room with an extended terrace. It was beautifully decorated. I also felt that it was located in a safe area. The only thing that I can think of is the narrow stairway. If you have large bags, it will not be easy to get them up the spiral stair case.

We really liked everthing at Ca San Rocco. Very quiet. Great location. The cleanliness of our room was perfect. Room very spacious. And really gentle staff. We couldn t find our way on our first night, and it was raining too, but the lady was very kind to come for us. I really would recommend it to anyone who is planning Venice as his next holiday.
