Ca' San Rocco

This accomodation is wonderful. The room had three large windows that all looked out onto a beautiful garden courtyard with views beyond as well. By European standards, the room was quite large as well. The breakfast was very nice and the staff extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend this accomodation. It is not far from the main Venice attactions while at the same time offering a very high level of tranquility.

Lovely hotel/b&b. Excellent, helpful staff and a warm reception from Valentina & Irene. Great buffet breakfast on a gorgeous outside terraced area. lovely quiet location away from main tourist area, but <1min walk to main thoroughfare to key attractions. 5mins from bus station, 10/15mins to Rialto bridge, 15/20mins to St Marks. highly recommended.

Spacious, clean, well appointed rooms - We stayed in two different rooms on two visits and would highly recommend this family operated small "boutique" hotel. Obvious care was taken by the owners and staff to make our holiday comfortable and enjoyable in every respect. This small, 6 room hotel was a quiet oasis to return to at the end of each day in a crowd-filled and very busy Venice.

No elevator could be a problem for some. It would be helpful to have access to a computer and the Internet.

Room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a roof top deck overlooking a garden. Breakfast on the patio was very pleasant. Location was excellent - an easy walk from bus parking and from the sights of Venice.

Loved the quiet location in a busy city. The room was very comfortable. The room overlooked a nice garden. Located close to the meeting I attended. The breakfast patio was a great place to start the day.

The room was great, hotel was really clean and the staff helpful but the most amazing thing was the bathroom it was the best hotel bathroom i ever seen. the hotel is located in a quiet area really nice and quite close to the station.

Room is clean and bathroom is big enough for a Italy hotel. Bathroom towel hanger is designed like a heater, so our wet stuff got dried pretty fast.

There is no lift, which means you will need to climb the stairs (at least 2 floors) with your luggage. The room does not have airconditioning, which can get stuffy if you do not open the windows. Desciption of hotel location is not precise, we had some difficulties in locating the hotel. Breakfast is mediocre, Would probably try another hotel if we visit Ven ice again.

All the staff were very friendly, Irena recommended some great restaurants, the breakfast was excellent and our room (number three) looked out over the garden next door and was really lovely. The location is great - very quiet, nice bar around the corner but still less than a ten minute walk to Piazzale Roma for the airport bus.

Perfectly well located, quiet area, very clean, beautiful bathroom, excellent bed, very nice breakfast.

We were not expecting to have an appartment, but we were given an excellent one, with private balcony and cooking facilities for the same price as a room. Don't know how it happened, but delighted! Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast on terrace was a treat.

A perfect and elegant hotel in a great location --San Polo Santa Croce- . Beautiful rooms. Very easy access once one finds the vaporetto stop.

Clients arriving at Piazzale Roma could get better directions if it was mentioned that the hôtel can be reached by vaporetto ( Stop at San Toma) and then by a short walk on level ground. We took this way on leaving and it was the most convenient.
