The very accommodating and friendly staff make this rather simple hotel worth a look. Potential guests shouldn't let the somewhat uninviting exterior deter them. Once inside, the very welcoming hosts along with the extremely clean accommodations make this one worth the trip. Breakfast was a bit uninspired but the service was outstanding. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is incredible - close to museums, sites and shopping. Breakfast is a great start to the day and rooms are clean and larger than most European hotels. My room (#2) was located over a busy street. I didn't mind, but someone else might. Most of the rooms are located on a quieter corridor. |

Excellent breakfast. I stayed at 4 different hotels during this trip. This was the modest one of all the hotels but had the best breakfast than much fancier and more expensive hotels. The rooms are clean but don't expect beauty. That's ok, bec you're not staying in the hotel rooms when you're florence. But the bed was hard. I'd probably stay again for the breakfast but I will have to think about the bed... |

Location was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and the breakfast was the best we had in Tuscany. The hotel is not glamorous but is excellent value for money and I would recommend it for a city break on a budget. |

The service I received at this hotel was probably the best I've ever had in my life anywhere, and I've stayed at plenty 4 star hotels before. The staff were polite, efficient, hard working and extremely helpful. The room was clean and rich in facilities that even included a TV, DVD player, fridge and balcony and breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect. |

The staff is nothing short of fantastic. You feel welcome and taken care of. The sheets are spotless! The location is perfect for discovering the city (you are abour 300m from the Duomo), and if you travel with a car should be not a problem to find the street. Highly recommended! nothing really, except for a smell in the room if you keep the window closed during the day, but it is understandable, since the building itself is old. |
