My family and I loved everyone at Hotel Casci. They bend over backwards to make their guests feel welcome in Florence. They booked restaurants for us and helped us navigate the city. We appreciated their warmth and helpfulness.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is in a fantastic position, just up the street from the Medici Palazzo and a 30 second walk to the Duomo. The rooms are clean, stylish and comfortable and the staff are spectacular. They even arranged a room in a hotel up the street for us when they had no vacancies themselves available (we wanted to stay in Florence a second night) and helped us out with finding appropriate parking and recommended some good restaurants. Highly recommended.

Hotel Casci has the best location and friendly and helpful owners. It is a family run hotel. It was really nice and basic. It included breakfast which was simple but filling and the place was centrally located, clean and charming. The owners are really nice; and they made reservations for us before we arrived for the Accademia gallery where Michaelangelo’s David Statue is, and the Uffizi Gallery where many of the Italian artists and paintings are displayed.

Superb, friendly service from the moment you arrive. Extremely helpful multi-lingual staff and very comfortable rooms with absolutely no street noise intruding at night. This place has a great reputation and I think it is entirely deserved. Highest recommendation!

The location is ideal. Very close to the main train station and all the tourist attractions, eg Duomo, Accademia and Uffizi Galeries. Also close to many eateries. It is rather pricey for a 2 star hotel. It is really a 2 star hotel in the sense that it is a very basic, no frills hotel, which is located on the 2nd floor of the building. Bathroom is so small, a bit of a squeeze for the 4 of us.

What a lovely family run hotel. From the start it was very trendy and it was in an o,d building where a composer once lived. I feel like we met the whole family during our stay, from e two gentlemen who were always so helpful at reception, to the lady who helped serve breakfast each morning, and grandma who ran down the stairs just to wish us safe travels as we left. The bathroom had a spa, the hotel was located fairly close to the railway station, and they did a whole half load of laundry for us for only 10 euro, which, as we are on a 5 week trip was very handy. The room also had a charging dock so we could charge all our phones, music pkayers etc.

The place is surprisingly nice. The rooms were spacious and the charging station they placed in each room is very convenient for all guests. I would suggest better pillows. The pillows they have are really uncomfortable. I also suggest upgrading their baggage security. We left our bags for the day since our train does not leave until midnight. They dont have any looked room to place the bags and they were just there beside the reception table, with no tags to identify who the owners where.

Location was perfect. It is located in the centre of the major museums and attractions and most are a short stroll away. You can easily walk from the station (but don't follow google's directions). The hotel is on the second floor of composer Rossini's house and is comfortable, clean and recently renovated(bathrooms). The dining room and breakfast are excellent. It is run by a family who are helpful and pleasant and will book and arrange access to day trips, museums etc. We would stay here again - it felt good staying at Casci.

This family run hotel in the middle of Florence is very welcoming and efficient. Accommodations were lovely for a small hotel and their care is recommending a tour company and restaurants were most appreciate. We had two good meals within walking distance that were reasonable. The price was high, but our visit was at the height of the fall tourist season and we paid for the location - within walking distance of all major sights.

The hotel location is very good, and is very near to almost all attractions, including Dumo, and the Academica. It is quiet during the night. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, giving us many valuable ideas about the city touring, and also called Taxi for us. We like this hotel very much.

The location was perfect, very near the Duomo and the Accademia (where David stands). The room and furniture had a rustic look. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed falling asleep while watching a dvd we got from reception. The room also had an empty bar fridge which came in handy to stock a few drinks unlike the safe which was too small to hold a travel wallet. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to book a tour through them and it went very smoothly. I am 1,87m tall (6 ft 2”) and by no means a giant but accessing that bathroom made me feel like one. Now im not sure if each unit has a different setup but I was in Unit 6 and it was extremely impractical. When I enter I would have to walk sideways, first passing the sink then the bidet then the toilet to get to the shower. The towels were in a phase between paper and cloth (felt like disposable cloth). While sitting on the toilet, I could have my toes, knees and forehead pushed up against the opposite wall!!
