Score from 840 reviews Excellent
Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent value for money for Florence. Great central location. Near to restaurants, shops and sights. Quiet and comfortable room. Good buffet breakfast.
Nothing, all good.
It's in the city of Florence which brings convenience.
The decor is not brand new, but the location, price, friendliness of staff and overall cleanliness makes this a fantastic place to stay. I would definitely stay here again if i was to return to Florence and would happily recommend to any friends.
Everything were perfect. Location, kind staff, and etc.
Always someone there to take care of travel needs, confirm return flight and print boarding passes, call for taxi to airport, recommend excellent restaurants (unlike the touristy ones that many hotels recommend), not deluxe but great hosts and great location, small and comfortable, historic (Rossini once lived there)
The place is excellent. The staff give this place a clear edge with their friendliness and high level of service.
This was a perfect location to walk to all the sights in Florence. Staff was so nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again.
Not a thing.
Location, wonderful staff, tasty authentic breakfast, clean room, reliable lift/elevator up to hotel
No bug screen - wanted to open window for ventilation in my room, however, Florence's mosquitos are notoriously vicious - even in November
A truly family-run hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, the room quiet and very clean. The hotel is literally two blocks away fro the Duomo and within walking distance of almost every site. I have been in Florence several times and think this is my best stay for the value.
Warm welcome on arrival, helpful attitude of all staff. Pleasant room with all facilities in a quiet position. Excellent breakfast in elegant dining room. Family members were kind and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended!
The location; it was close to everything. The room was spacious and clean.
The only thing I didn't like was the sign. You can walk by the hotel without noticing it.It lacks a sign that creates awareness.
This is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Florence, easy to find and fully supportive of any agenda. The service is flawless, the rooms well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and well served. It's your home away from home in Florence.
I couldn't stay longer. I hope to return next year to spend some more time with this wonderful family.
Location for Centre was superb, staff were excellent and friendly, breakfast was very good.
No major faults to mention.
Proximity to all major tourist attractions Large rooms for a city hotel Extremely friendly and helpful staff Copious supply of hot water and a bath in our room Good breakfast with a reasonable choice
Hotel entrance is on 1st floor and only accessible by stairs or a lift
Awesome location. Not luxurious, but extremely well thought out with respect to the details that really matter. Clean. Good breakfast. Industrious staff.
The hotel is very centrally located to ALL the major sightseeing must sees in Florence. Il Duomo is literally down the road, the Acadamie is up the road, the leather market around the corner. You can walk everywhere from this hotel! Whatever you want to do, wherever you want to go, the Lombardi family is always willing to give you directions. The room was comfortable enough, the bathroom was in keeping with the overall feel of the city. The breakfast was adequate enough to give you a good start to your day.The hotel was comfortable, the owners were friendly and very informative. I would definitely stay at Hotel Casci again!
A family run hotel, they were so helpful and friendly and spoke reasonably good english. The breakfasts were very good with fresh fruit, boiled eggs and toast and continental for those who like. Beds extremely co fortable and all I all made our stay very enjoyable.
We were quite happy with the rooms but some might find them very dated and old.
I liked the location. Very close to the Cathedral and the sites and not to far from the train station if you want to walk.
The staff treated us like family. It's right by the duomo and within walking distance of everything. Great breakfast too.
Towels could have been fluffier.
Everyone I dealt with by email or phone was very responsive and helpful. The hotel is located in the old town section a block from the Duomo and Accademia. Train station is an easy walk, 5 minutes away. Our room was great, but I heard a friend say their bed was pretty hard so it's worth checking. Good breakfast. Overall, three star value for two star price.
Bit pricey but reliable.
Location and staff. Excellent breakfast included.
We could not operate the air conditioning and for sound-proofing there were 3 or 4 windows or shutters. With them open it was noisy.
This hotel was formerly a convent nad located in the 4th floor on the building. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the location is very convenient to the Duomo and leather market areas
Great people and perfect location
We loved the location of this hotel! While it may seem a little dated to some, we loved the fact that it's a house of historical significance. The breakfast was great every morning, with plenty of food each day. The room itself (we stayed in number 7) was very comfortable, with big beds and a large (by European standards) bathroom.
