At Il Perseo Hotel you will have a wonderful location on the street next to Florence's Duomo and Baptistry. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

La Residenza Dell'Orafo is a modern property located right outside Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station.
Score from 565 reviews Wonderful
Just 215 yards from Santa Maria Novella Station, Hotel Jolì is in a early 19th-century building in Florence’s center. A buffet breakfast with hot and cold food is served daily in the breakfast hall.
Score from 821 reviews Very good
Set in the centre of Florence, Accademia Studio offers free Wi-Fi and a rustic-style apartment with kitchenette and a flat-screen TV. A sweet Italian breakfast is offered at a café, 30 metres away.
Score from 143 reviews Wonderful
This is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Florence, easy to find and fully supportive of any agenda. The service is flawless, the rooms well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and well served. It's your home away from home in Florence.
I couldn't stay longer. I hope to return next year to spend some more time with this wonderful family.
Location for Centre was superb, staff were excellent and friendly, breakfast was very good.
No major faults to mention.
Proximity to all major tourist attractions Large rooms for a city hotel Extremely friendly and helpful staff Copious supply of hot water and a bath in our room Good breakfast with a reasonable choice
Hotel entrance is on 1st floor and only accessible by stairs or a lift
Awesome location. Not luxurious, but extremely well thought out with respect to the details that really matter. Clean. Good breakfast. Industrious staff.
The hotel is very centrally located to ALL the major sightseeing must sees in Florence. Il Duomo is literally down the road, the Acadamie is up the road, the leather market around the corner. You can walk everywhere from this hotel! Whatever you want to do, wherever you want to go, the Lombardi family is always willing to give you directions. The room was comfortable enough, the bathroom was in keeping with the overall feel of the city. The breakfast was adequate enough to give you a good start to your day.The hotel was comfortable, the owners were friendly and very informative. I would definitely stay at Hotel Casci again!
A family run hotel, they were so helpful and friendly and spoke reasonably good english. The breakfasts were very good with fresh fruit, boiled eggs and toast and continental for those who like. Beds extremely co fortable and all I all made our stay very enjoyable.
We were quite happy with the rooms but some might find them very dated and old.
I liked the location. Very close to the Cathedral and the sites and not to far from the train station if you want to walk.
The staff treated us like family. It's right by the duomo and within walking distance of everything. Great breakfast too.
Towels could have been fluffier.
Everyone I dealt with by email or phone was very responsive and helpful. The hotel is located in the old town section a block from the Duomo and Accademia. Train station is an easy walk, 5 minutes away. Our room was great, but I heard a friend say their bed was pretty hard so it's worth checking. Good breakfast. Overall, three star value for two star price.
Bit pricey but reliable.
Location and staff. Excellent breakfast included.
We could not operate the air conditioning and for sound-proofing there were 3 or 4 windows or shutters. With them open it was noisy.
This hotel was formerly a convent nad located in the 4th floor on the building. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the location is very convenient to the Duomo and leather market areas
Great people and perfect location
We loved the location of this hotel! While it may seem a little dated to some, we loved the fact that it's a house of historical significance. The breakfast was great every morning, with plenty of food each day. The room itself (we stayed in number 7) was very comfortable, with big beds and a large (by European standards) bathroom.
Location is excellent, staff is wonderful, and very helpful. It was clean and teh breakfast very good. It was also safe. Other families with kids were present.
The beds are not great. Mosquitos were a problem. Can be solved with plug in mosquito killer.
Location, people, breakfast, information
not much - I would have liked to have a tip jar to provide one tip for the entire staff.
We arrived at the hotel on the morning and were told to leave our bags and they would possibly put them in our rooms in the afternoon. We went sightseeing and returned in the afternoon. We met Peter-Paul we ho told us that a plumber was working on our room but it should be finished later on. We couldn't get cleaned up but went for a meal. When we returned we were told that the the room wasn't fit for guests so we would have to stay at their friends hotel down the road. He took us to Hotel Gioia. The hotel was a much lesser hotel but it was very late and my 9 year old was tired so we were willing to stay anyway. When we were led to the room through a hallway up some stairs and then back down some stairs. The room was very odd looking. When I drew the curtains to check the view the whole thing fell down, next I checked the shower and the head was broken so the water went everywhere, lastly I checked the bed but I could feel every spring on my back so I grabbed our stuff and headed back to Hotel Casci. I told the older gentleman with the ear ring, who I believed was the owner but insisted he was the night desk staff that the room was not acceptable. I asked him to show me the original room we booked. He said that the door was locked from the inside so he couldn't show me. I immediately suspected that they had rented the room at a higher rate and tried to send to their friends who had vacancy for obvious reasons. So I asked to know the room number so I could knock on the door if it was empty. He then said that the room was locked for fire safety reason. I explained again that I would not enter but just knock to confirm that no one was staying there . He said that he didn't know the room number because he was the night staff. It was a lame excuse, as any desk clerk would be aware of a room that was out of service. I threatened to go to the police as I was quite certain that they had rented the room to another guest.
Great hotel, location and hospitality! We would come back again. People are very sweet!
The helpfulness of the staff.
Room was a little dark.
Amazing location, very large room, very good breakfast selection each morning, friendly staff
Family run business, staff are extremely friendly. Very handy location right between accademia and the duomo, so everything is within walking distance.
The plumbing (at least in our room) uses a sump pump so the shower will well water at your feet until it decides to work (which involves mechanical sounds at random times of the day or night).
Staff was helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed meeting them. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room inviting. The location is perfect, as it is very close to the Duomo and the Florence market.
They staff was very kind. Even tracked us down at the train station to give my mom her Visa card which she left on their counter!
The breakfast wasn't great.
The staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Staff making sure I had enough and topping up coffee often. The location could not have been better - less than two minutes to the Duomo. Staff have great English and they were patient and kind when I used my limited Italian.
Hearing my neighbour snoring - nothing to do with the hotel or staff...
