I enjoyed feeling part of a very friendly medeaval village The trattorias are excellent and it feels great!you do need a car though although the owner found me a good driver tat was excellent as there is a lot to see of great beauty and historical significance in the area

After we complained about the problem, the receptionist questioned whether our complaints were justified. An hour later we finally had hot water - which is really a necessity after a day’s walking. The breakfast, provided by the hotel but taken at a local bar, was one of the meanest we’ve encountered in seven walking holidays, throughout Europe.
