Hotel Jolly Caserta    

Very nice hotel. Room was comfortable. Location was the best. Right across from the Palace and walking distance from the train station. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We've been touring Italy, this is our 7th hotel and by far the nicest. The location is a 3 minute walk to the train station and 5 minute walk from the place. The hotel restaurant is excellent with medium prices.

Clean hotel friendly staff on the corner of a very busy street corner but very quiet room

Very clean room. We were given a room with a view of Reggia di Caserta without requesting it. The hotel was easily accessible from the autostrada. There is a cheap parking space right in front of the hotel

The room was not cleaned properly and the parking area very few spaces. The hotel usually suggests the private car park which is 7 euros a day.

This is a very reasonably priced, good quality hotel, well located near the train station and the Royal Palace. It has well fitted out rooms and a good restaurant with helpful staff. The breakfast range was also very good.

Easy access from train and local bus, super location accross from the grounds of the Castle. Older hotel with excellent update thruout, spacious room with great bathroom. Got the Castle Special, which included an breakfast buffet, a three course dinner, plus admission to the Castle. Truly a very good value.

It appear the hotel caters primarily to business and more formal travelers. Unfortunately the women in the reception were rather "Cool" bothering on rude in their interaction with us. Granted we were dressed informal.... Jeans, cotton blouses, tennis shoes and carrying our backpacks. I spent a total of 33 days traveling on this trip and my friend went back to the U.S. after 12 days in Italy and one stupendous night in Paris. We are both well educated, retired proffesionals, who are accustomed to traveling overseas. This is the ONLY place where the staff was not congenial. We recommend the hotel, however the reception staff should be educated on proper manners toward guests.

The maitre d' in the restaurant was really excellent. Chef very accommodating with special request. The rooms very comfortable. Great bathroom. Perfect location for visiting the palace.

The hotel was great but the city was disappointing. Garbage everywhere. Graffiti. Vacant buildings. Very sad. I would not recommend Caserta to friends.

Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and there wasn't really anything yo could complain about. We chose this hotel as it was the nearest 4star hotel to the Palazzo Reale di Casserta. It was just 5 mins walk away, which allowed us to get there at opening time - 8.30am, before the many groups arrived. The hotel is also within 10 mins walk from the main shopping area - a really good choice.

Very modern and exceptionally clean. Loved the lighting and the bath and shower were the best we encountered in Italy. The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful and They spoke English very well. We wanted to explore Naples and the Hotel is only a 3-minute walk to the train station and a 35 minute ride to Naples.

The rooms were modern and luxurious and had lots of gadgets not that we spent a lot of time in the room but the time we did was comfortable

That was the best hotel during our stay in Italy.Very good price for enough big room - appr. 25 sq m. Very modern hotel inside with new furniture, walls are covered with soft material, big TV set. Very good real breakfast with hot meal - sausages, potatous and bacon. Location is excellent - just opposite the palace. The hotel does not have its own secured parking but they provide discount for the nearest parking. It is 7 Euro per day.

What a wonderful find. Two minutes from train station, five minutes from castle/gardens. Hotel very clean, quiet, with excellent facilities, in a safe area. Lighting and showers easy to understand, large room, comfortable bed, and helpful staff. I'd certainly stay here again when we're this way, and would recommend it. I've read criticism of size of lifts (two, holding 4 and 5 people respectively), road noise (we stayed during the Euro semifinals and there was hardly any noise) and complexity of lights - all I can say, as a 60-year old is "stop being picky, this is a great hotel and needs to be championed".

Surprising room, modern and with special illumination. Very close to historical center. Bike to the guests. Good price for the room. I recommend.

hi the room that i got was very small. i paid for superior room , i dont belive that it was a room for what i reserve

Our room was very comfortable clean and quiet. We had a view of the palace from our window. The air conditioning worked well. The shower was great! Above all, the location is fantastic if you have come to Caserta to visit the palace, as we did. The lobby lacks atmosphere but is comfortable. We would stay here again if we were bringing visitors to see the palace. The is also only a few steps from the railway station.
