Hotel Casmona  

My partner and I were planning to travel from Venice, where I had attended a meeting, to the Cinque Terre. Due to severe flooding, we were unable to go there and had to quickly come up with another plan. I lucked into finding a room last minute at Hotel Casmona in Camogli, a town we had never heard of. I could not have made a better choice had I planned it months in advance. Although the room was nothing special, it was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I emailed the manager right after booking and requested a room with 'some outdoor space' as we like to just hang out. We were both amazed that our room opened up to not one, but two large terraces overlooking the Mediterrenean sea--the view was spectacular. One of the terraces was shared space, but the other was ours--semi private because other terraces were adjacent, but it was fabulous. We ended up extending our stay from an original 2 nights to 4 nights. Breakfast was fine, also. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even with our bad to non- existent Italian. We hope to return to the Hotel Casmona.

There were some limitations, not important enough to mention. It is an outstanding value for the price, compared to others we considered.

Perfect situation, big room.

Our room was directly above the main walkway and beach with vistas up and down the coastline. The staff was wonderful in accommodating our every need.

The stairway down to the hotel (and up when we left) were something to deal with in terms of luggage. This is not a "handicapped available" facility although it didn't inhibit our usage.

Purtroppo il bagno è un po' sacrificato e necessita di manutenzione.

Excellente situation

Hôtel vieillissant, ne disposant plus du confort correspondant à son classement. Petit déjeuner minimal. En outre actuellement lourdement handicapé par un échafaudage permanent en façade occultant la vue !!

La mancanza di ascensore che non è chiara sul sito internet e che invece dovrebbe essere messa in evidenza per chiarezza

La posizione è davvero invidiabile. Nel bel mezzo del lungomare di Camogli. Le finestre della camera danno direttamente sul mare, un vero paradiso. Le camere davvero carine, accoglienti e grande pulizia. Il personale di una gentilezza e simpatia impareggiabili. Lo consiglierei a chiunque.

Il est dommage que l'accès de cet hôtel soit difficile : 30 à 40 marches inévitables pénalisent sérieusement le client. Par ailleurs, payer 15€ par 24 H. pour le parking, c'est quand même onéreux

Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Hotel in absoluter Traumlage direkt an der Uferpromenade und somit unmittelbar am Meer. Sehr ruhig. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Schöne Zimmer, alles sauber, auch im Bad. Täglich perfekte Zimmerreinigung. Für italienische Verhältnisse ein umfangreiches und gut sortiertes Frühstücksbuffet. Frühstücksraum mit Panoramafenster und somit fantastischer Aussicht aufs Meer. Schöne Dachterasse mit Liegestühlen.

Das Frühstück muss separat bezahlt werden (10,-€) und sollte in einem ***Hotel im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen sein. Die Gebühr für einen ungesicherten und schlecht einsehbaren Parkplatz (150m entfernt vom Hotel) in Höhe von € 15,- ist zu hoch. Besser einen kostenlosen Strassenparkplatz nutzen (am Wochenende jedoch schwierig).

Hotel semplice ma confortevole, in pieno centro con vista mare mozzafiato.
