Most staff members were very pleasant, but one was rude when I made a request for towels as house keeping hadn't left any. Don't know if it was the culture barrier but felt she could have handled the request with a better attitude.
Very close to termini station allowing access to all of Rome. Clean and comfortable room, quiet location.
On the 3rd floor - i don't like lifts. Basic accommodation, very reasonable. Although one male receptionist was very helpful, a female one was extremely rude and unhelpful.
The location was excellent - near the station and good reasonably price restaurants close by.
1. The bathroom was barely enough to fit a person, don't even talk about the shower. If you stand steady, do not move, and can move with the elegance of a trained gymnast, you can possibly shower. Else, not. It was a bathroom designed to remind you that things that we take for granted at home are so precious, and we should always be grateful. Things such as clean and accessible bath with hot water on the tap, and a place to put your body wash. 2. Hot water seemed to be an issue. 3. The wifi sucked with the ferocity of a black hole of galactic proportions.
Not much, other than the Eur 50/Night deal that we managed to get
Nothing to register
Staff were very pleasent, accomodations in very good conditions and daily cleaned. The hotel is just around the City center, with extremely good transport facilities.Highly recommended.
The room was not the one we booked. It was very small. There was hair on the tiled floor in lounge and bathroom. No soap. Dirty toilet. When I sat on the bed to think about what to do, a spring popped up. We left immediately to find another hotel. Staff didn't speak any English (discussed the problem with Google translate) but he did find us an alternative hotel for that night. I wasn't expecting much, but clean and comfortable, however small the room, is non negotiable for me. Good luck travellers!
bathroom was dirty (HAIRS ON TOILET SEAT AND IN SHOWER; MIRROR SMEARED; SHOWER CABIN SPLASHED WITH SOAP STAINS ON BOTH SIDES; MOULD BETWEEN TILES), desk dirty too (sticky black stains), towels, not changed, unfriendly staff with poor english, for leaving the luggage after check-out money was necessary!
Staff doesn't speak english at all so we had to talk with google translation.
location is good, quite clean.
Small room (at least the one I was in)
Good location, friendly staff, clean
Wifi is not so good but the guy at the reception vas very interrsted in solving the problem
I didn't need anything more that was offered by the helpful staff during my staying at hotel Castelfidardo. I will come back. Clean, comfortable, good position, far of rumour and dangerous areaof Termini, nice view.
location to the main metro, value for money was very good
Very nice place to stay if you are travelling light or backpacking. 25 minute walk from the center and good restaurants just below the hotel.
Bad signal wi fi :( no fridge in the room :(
Close to center and metro termini, nice safe road, very clean room, comfotable bed, many restaurants around, polite staff!
There was no soap in the shower nor any glass to drink some water.
The hotel is very close to the Termini station, and it is easy to go by public transport to any of the touristic places. The room was clean, comfortable and with a lot of space. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Excellent location, very clean, they changed our sheets and towels twice during our stay of 4 days.
Its bit Walk from terminal station. the room should have a fridge.
The hotel is clean and very safe. Need three lock to open the door. The bathroom is small but clean. The area is safe with lots of restaurants.
Bathroom very small and with a kind of pump that was noisily working evrytime you opened the water...but it is typical for old builings in Rome...
I stayed only one night, that's why this hotel was my choice, as it is close to the Roma Termini Station, but distanced enough not to be in the middle of its hustle. Hotel situated on the 3rd floor of the residential building, but luckily the lift was working. Room was small, but clean. I was leaving very early in the morning so didn't have an opportunity to try the breakfast. In general quite a good price-quality ratio for a short stay. for longer Rome holidays I'd recomend a quieter location.
