Hotel Castell  

We were staying 3 days in the hotel and enjoy it very much.Wonderful people and amazing views. Thank you very much. Be prepare for a lot of steps... Truly it's not bad it's amazing and you won't feel it. Plus you might run in to a lazy black cat sleeping in a planter box like we did with legs hanging over the side... very cute.

Location, views, friendliness and food

Coffee and breakfast was ordinary for an Italian stay. Internet only available near reception.

Best view, good food, friendly reception, calm and quality...No hesitate l would like to come again, thanks...

Wonderfull location and very comfort hotel. Good breakfast. Lake view from double superiore room with big terasse - super (and I think from all lake view rooms). Beutifull little city with old town on the lake. Many tourists from Germany, many old people, but absolutly relax.

Only coffee - poor... :) But You can find good coffe in all city bars nearly. No problem.

Location, the staff, the lake ...

Omg what a view!!! Priceless! Nice staff - no problem with borrowing essentials like wine opener :) Good location as well - literally 100 metres above the ferry pier. Since the main road runs above Limone the only noise you'll hear are splashing waves on the lake and air con units or neighbouring hotels. Breakfast ok-ish (for a 3* hotel). Swimming pool with the lake and M Baldo on one side and 400 meter steep rocks on the other side - amazing!

Managed to embark on a cockroach hunt which wasn't ideal (despite the room being quite clean all the time). Check out at 9:30? Come on.. that's a bit early. No sign posts pointing you to the hotel from the pier - nearly impossible to find it (despite seeing it from the shore). My recommendation: From the pier take left (the main shoreline walk through the shops) > After 150-200 metres turn right near the bank entrance/bancomat > Go up the stairs and turn right again > go up some more stairs > once at the top take more stair immediately to your left (stairs will turn left midway - by the gate) > take right into a narrow path in between concrete walls (don't go all the way up) > take the first gate to the left (it has Hotel Castell written on the intercom). Good luck - you will need it.

I just spent one day... Position is very good. Rooms are clean but no very beautiful. My room was with a very beautiful terrace and an amazing view. Food quality just sufficient.

Position and lake view

Although not luxurious the hotel is ideally situated and only a very short walk from the center of Limone. Our room had a balcony with wonderful views over the lake. Staff are all friendly and helpful and an excellent continental buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant with panoramic views of the lake and offering a wide selection to choose from with something to suit all tastes. An optional 3-course evening meal is available and, although we prefer to go out to eat and try different restaurants in the area, we did eat in the hotel one evening and found it to be good value for money. Hotel also has a lovely swimming pool pool/sunbathing area again with lovely views of the lake. We will definitely return to Limone and book this hotel again.

Car parking a bit limited on a first come first served basis but it is possible to park on in a laybye on the opposite side of the road.

The room was essential but cleaned and comfortable. We were on the upper floor and we had no problem about noise or security but only the pleasure of a beautifull terrace with lake view. Tha staff was always kind and very helpful (they didn't want to be paid for the rent of the pool towels).

It's 100 steps to downtown.....but it's not possible to be in the center of the town and have your car near the hotel at the same time.

- Lage des Hotels, mitten im Ort, trotzdem ruhig - traumhafter Blick auf den Gardasee - sehr freundliches Personal - Balkon, Swimming Pool, mitten im Limonenhain, umgeben von Gastronomie und kleinen Geschäften - Ausweichmöglichkeit zum Parken in der Nähe des Hotels (da der hauseigene Parkplatz sehr klein war) - haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Wir haben uns im Hotel Castell sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer (superior -Zimmer) war sehr geräumig und der Blick zum See einfach traumhaft. Das Personal hat gerne hilfsbereit weitergeholfen und das Frühstück war überraschend gut und reichhaltig für ein 3 Sterne Hotel- auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

vue magique sur le lac de garde ... hôtel adossé à la montagne ... dommage que la piscine avec vue sur le lac ferme si tôt ... sinon à recommander !

Mooie locatie net boven het stadje, restaurant direct zicht op het Gardameer. Boulevard bereikbaar in 5 minuten. Prima bedden.

i corridoi poco valorizzati e spogli, non c'è il bidet nel bagno.

Det bedste var helt sikkert beliggenheden og sengen og det at kunne parkere ved hotellet. Parkering er vanskelige at finde ved Gardasøen.
