Castellaro Golf Resort  

We stayed in an appartement of the Resort. The resort is set up nicely, up on the mountain, very close to a typical beautiful old village with stone houses. The appartment was modern, nicely furnished, although an umbrella on the balcony would be an asset. The village Riva Mare was the closest possiblity for swimming in the sea, and the village itself, the part next to the beach. Is very beautiful and romantic. In the village of Castellaro there is one Restaurant and one small supermarket, but down in the valley there is a huge shopping centre and in Riva Mare many restaurants along the beach.

The appartment could have been a bit cleaner, specially the balcony, as well as the staircases. The pool area was ok, but compared to the hotel pool, it appeared a bit poor, and the pool was really filthy and dirty, guests did complain. For all the other facilities you have to pay, which is anyway outlined in the Resort's description, but still, the gym and football court could be for free to my opinion- and compared to a hotel guest you feel a bit like a guest second class, when renting an appartment. The bar is quite expensive. Some of the appartment houses are very close (10m) to the electricity pylon, here you constantly hear the the noise of the electricity - one could have left more space.

Nice and quiet place, good location to visit Monaco and Cote d'Azur. Good facilities, comfortable apartment.

The smaller swimming pool was unfortunately closed.

Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, centro benessere e palestra abbastanza completi.

Polvere in camera!

Molto rilassante, la piscina all'aperto è gradevole e la spa all'interno altrettanto piacevole, comodo il ristorante all'interno.

Poco spazio per le stdario a bordo piscina e il personale un po disorganizzato e mal disposto a tratti.

La struttura è in una ottima posizione, di recente costruzione e I servizi spa sono di buon livello. La colazione è buona e le camere al piano terreno hanno un'area verde dedicata.

Al termine del Soggiorno ho chiesto l'emissione della fattura e al ricevimento mi hanno stampato la ricevuta dicendo di no riuscire. Mi hanno chiesto l'indirizzo mail per inviarmi il giorno seguente la fattura che ad oggi ancora non è arrivata. Questa mattina ho chiamato ed alla reception mi hanno chiesto di inviare una mail di richiesta. Mi sembra assurdo visto che sono loro a dover rilasciare ricevuta o fattura senza nessun problema. Ho scritto la mial e vediamo se riusciamo ad avere questa benedetta fattura.

Struttura ampia e personale gentile e disponibile

Avevamo prenotato una camera e ci è stato assegnato un alloggio del residence,con il risultato di aver,non dormito,per due giorni su di un divano letto scomodissimo .Bastava comunicare su Booking la non disponibilita' delle camere standard e non ci sarebbero stati problemi per sceglire la sistemazione superior.La cosa ci ha molto disturbato !!Peccato perche' eravamo gia' stati al Castellaro Resort e un trattamento del genere non era atteso,probabilmente ci torneremo,ma saro' costretto a telefonare direttamente alla struttura per chiedere conferma della sistemazione.

Hotel très confortable avec belle piscine, petit déjeuner et service de bonne qualité

La route d'accès mérite une vraie rénovation. Détails pas soignés et service à la réception lent. Piscine fermée à 19h en pleine saison

La proximité du petit village;

Ottime la sauna e il bagno turco,la colazione è discreta ma mediocre per un quattro stelle, lo staff è cordiale e disponibile

La palestra è poco fornita

Die Anlage selbst und die ruhige Lage.

Schlechte, ungenügende Information über Hotelanlage und Einrichtungen. Man musste fast alles erfragen. Teilweise Mitarbeiter an der Reception ohne Deutsch- und Englisch-Kenntnisse - nur Italienisch und Französisch. Öffnungszeiten an der Bar wurden nicht eingehalten. Die mühsame Anfahrt zur Anlage und die teilweise miserable Strasse.

De rust en de kleine dorpjes eromheen, Castellaro en Pompeiana, klein en simpel maar vriendelijke mensen en heerlijk eten in een restaurantje vlakbij het sanctuaire van Castellaro (echt doen, je kan het niet missen, er is er maar een!). Het zwembad van het resort bij het hotel (die van de appartementen minder). Ik raad aan om in het hotel te gaan en niet in de apprtementen; de service is beter en er is meer bij de prijs inbegrepen.De hotelkamers zijn comfortabel. Je moet een beetje geduld hebben met het personeel, maar ze zijn vriendelijk en doen hun best; ik denk veel studenten met een zomerbaantje, niet altijd even professioneel.Jammer dat ze geen klein souvenirwinkeltje/supermarktje hebben (alleen een golfshop).
