Castle outsides and garden are beautiful.

We filtered out a Hotel requesting a 'pool'. Turns out the Hotel does not have a pool and the adjacent Golf Club (or the Hotel) charges 15 e pp and for Children too. We rated that as false statement and we would have chosen another Hotel with a (free) pool instead as 120e for 2 days at a pool seemed slightly out of step. Breakfast was fair at best and withthe out any care to details or customer expectation. Room - at least the corner suits - was large, amenities minimum. With 2 nights and several requests staff was unable or unwilling to provide additional shampoo and body soap. Internet access 10e did not work within the rooms. Castle and garden are very beautiful, furniture inside rather run down and in urgent need of replacement. It was not value for money experience and perceived attitude was that they do not care much. Even after a very helpful and cooperative intervention of booking.com stating that the pool charges are not mentioned properly to potential guests the Hotel refuses to refund the costs. If you are travelling with a baby, yes, THIS hotel does charge for a baby cot (25E) and is unaware that this practice is uncommon even in the remotest places of turism. They actually dont deserve your business.

The castle is absolutely stunning. Not a cheap place to stay at all but very beautiful.

The room decor is quite dated and detracts from the lovely building and furniture in the rooms and would benefit greatly from a minor renovation such as a simpler colour scheme. Booking.com really need to make it clearer in their hotel description that use of the spa or outside swimming pool incur additional fees and that the room rate is literally just b&b and parking. Even internet costs extra.

I think the castle is used more for some corporative events.We were on the second place. The toilet room was uncomfortable.

Climatic unit cannot be controlled from the room. Some stair steps to be' considered in case you have some babycars. Invoice cannot be splitted. Swimming pool was closet on monday Not hotel rel. Atee but to consider in case of stay - a lot of traffic and time to Reach the highway

"Exactly what is says on the tin !" Wonderful and very nice staff. I have stayed here for business on 4 occasions, and every time very good, this time with the family, and again very good. Those wishing a hotel with a complete difference you will not be dissapointed. I do not like chain hotels, that's exactly why I stay here. Restaurants available in the hotel, and, next village 1 to 2 mins direction Cantú (Montesalaro) are excellent. There you will find an Osteria left side of road past the speed bumps (green sun canopy outside on road) and Steak House right side 50mtrs further - renowned for it's Pizza's and you will not be dissapointed. For those who know your Pizza's, these are with Fresh Sugo and all the best ingredients, "just try them and very funny staff ! On entry to that village you do pass 2 other restaurants and have been advised to avoid them. So, pass over the speed bumps and you will be ok and you find the other two good ones as mentioned above. Standard prices and excellent food at both ! Makes a real pleasant weekend

Problem with the heating system when we stayed. You cannot turn down (or off) the heater in the bathroom. I had a travel Thermometer with me and overnight was reading 47°c !!!!! Very very uncomfortable indeed. Mentioned it at reception 3 times. It was like a sauna ! Spa is a little overpriced a €30 adults and same for kids. Having said that, only 6 persons allowed in at any time....

The bed was wonderfully comfortable and large. The spa area was nice, the dinner restaurant was excellent. Breakfasts were pretty standard. The castle was big, well kept and picturesque.

Rooms were basic, bathroom in need of some maintenance, eg shower head had a lot of calcium, sink plug barely opened, water pressure quite low. Felt the spa was expensive (Eur.30 pp). Further visits were only Eur.20 pp, which was reasonable.

Katastrofalni snidane!!!!!!!! Dat 200€ za noc a rano dostat zbytek oschlych vajicek, mastny salam a vajicko natvrdo? Zadna zelenina, syry, hnusne ovoce z kompotu.. Nezazila jsem horsi snidani.

Le chateau est tres beau et les chambres agréables. On a adoré le lit king size!! Nous y sommes allés en semaine (lundi au vendredi) et c'était tres calme!! Parfait pour se reposer!

Le restaurant de l'hotel est un peu trop pompeux... Tant dans le service que dans la carte! Peu de choix sur la carte... Et surtout rédigée uniquement en italien! Les piscines et le spa... C'est un peu de l'arnaque!! On avait vu qu'il fallait payer en plus pour acceder au spa, ok... Mais on ne peut pas non plus acceder aux piscines!! La piscine intérieure est au spa et la piscine extérieure au golf qui se trouve à coté!! Pour les 2 il faut donc payer un (gros) supplément : 30€ pour accéder 3h au spa! Et 20€ pour accéder à la piscine du golf pour la journée... Sauf qu'il faut avoir envie de passer une journée entière à la piscine pour rentabiliser cette entrée!!

Hôtel de grand charme avec son style médiéval. L'aile moderne offre des astuces technologiques intéressantes. La nature environnante est très agréable aussi.

Excellent en tous points. le site est fabuleux, l'accueil charmant, la nourriture parfaite.

Da fuori è un castello ben tenuto con un bellissimo parco. All'interno il fascino si perde completamente a causa della disposizione degli alloggi e delle sale comuni.

La camera (standard) che avevamo, era vicina all'ascensore quindi rumorosa. l'impianto di condizionamento,di vecchio tipo,con la sola opzione freddo/caldo è obbligatorio in quanto la finestra non è apribile ed è molto rumoroso. Colazione con scelta modesta. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è a favore della struttura.

Carimate castle was a perfect stay..our room was extremely comfortable and the personel was very polite and helpful.the nature around the hotel as well as its private forest were trully astonishing.you really felt like you were living in a medievel castle.the village and the castle itself were very pictureskue.if you travel by car from carimate to bergamo by the local roads you wil come across a series of beatiful villages.the castle is a quiet comfortable stay with huge beds and for realrelaxation.if you loging for a private peaceful natural inviroment is the perfect destination.totally recomment.

Although that the breacfast was great.the food in the restaurant was average for its price.it should also have something not so gourment for customers that need to have a quick meal.
