“ Lets start by saying this is Five Star in every way. End of story. When you come here you become a member of a group of world travelers who will meet again probably at the castle. It's a fraternity of people who value the joy of great food, great wine, great accommodations, but mostly wonderful people. ”

Castello di Sinio is a luxury boutique hotel. In a renovated castle dating back to 1142, it is located between the Barolo and Barbaresco vineyards. The property has floral gardens, and a swimming pool with panoramic views. All interiors were refurbished according to the castle's medieval architecture. The period décor is highlighted by the original stone, timbers, and terracotta floors. Rooms and suites at Hotel Castello Di Sinio offer an LCD TV, free Wi-Fi, and luxurious furnishings. Each bathroom includes a glass-enclosed shower, brass fixtures, and a designer courtesy set. This family-run hotel is famous for its excellent restaurant, serving Piedmont cuisine and provided with an extensive wine list. The breakfast buffet includes hot selections, homemade cake and pastries, fresh seasonal fruit and juices. The hotel is a great base for exploring the main producers of Barolo and Barbaresco wines. The villages of La Morra, Serralunga, and Monforte D'Alba are located nearby. Hotel Rooms: 18 The most recent booking for this hotel was made on May 22 at 16:59 from United States of America.

We loved everything about our stay at castello di Sinio. It is beautifully restored, breakfasts were plentiful and fresh, the location is superb. We took everyone's advice and dined in - the most wonderfully delicate flavours with excellent company. Definitely somewhere I recommend everyone to experience at least once. Thanks to Denise and her professional staff. The gate closing behind us as we left.

Perfect in every way. Royal welcome. Staff knows everything about Piedmont food, wine, history. Ask for the Chapel Suite with its awesome bathroom and views. Nothing.

Excellent food and friendly atmosphere Beds were quite hard, so we didnt sleep as well as we had hoped. We both had back pains after a few days. If it wasnt for the hard beds, we would have loved to stay longer.

It is quite difficult to describe in a few words only just what we loved about the Castello di Sinio but here, in no particualr order is our attempt: Denise, the chef patron made us feel llike we were at home, quite literally, and that it was a source of immense personal pleasure and pride for her to see us happy. This is such a rare and wonderful quality and this spirit of hers permeates the entire establishment. We felt instantly relaxed and incredibly well looked after by Denise and all her staff. On top of this, the food here is really quite astounding. Beautiful combinations of locally sourced produce presented in immaginative ways, clearly inspired by Denise's international experience meant that every meal was a delicious and memorable event. Finally, the castello itself has been so meticulously and faithfully restored, there is nothing kitsch or "Disney" about it. The energy and vision that obviously went in to this project are evident everywhere, from the first class bedrooms and bathrooms with furnishings and decor very much in keeping, right down to the details in each room such as the woollen mohair comfort throw I found in our wardrobe - such a great touch and so lovely to be then wrapped up in it when realxing in our room... We're definitely going back!

Hotel Castello di Sinio was our favorite hotel on a trip that included stays at great hotels including the St Regis in Florence and The Danieli in Venice. Castello di Sinio took the cake. The staff was exceptional, the room was georgous, the food remarkable. Denise Pardini, the owner / executive chef has created a jewel in a geogeous setting. Inspirational. Wonderful.

Welcome, location , style, staff , information provided, attention to detail, ambience , comfort, outside breakfasts , beautiful dining area, and what has to be the best breakfast in Europe! This hotel reflects the extraordinary passion , flair and pride in her business of the owner Denise Pardini whose extremely high standards are reflected everywhere Churlish to even mention it , but having a slight eye defect , it was initially difficult to see how to operate the dark lift switches . However after several visits to the room it became easier and this in no way affected our total enjoyment of our stay.

The staff was excellent, including the concierge David who offered wonderful suggestions on how to spend our time in the Piedmont area. Great bedrooms, great wifi connection through castle walls. A very good breakfast buffet (not included in price) can be enjoyed in the beautiful garden. IOur particular room had a shower stall that was extremely small and not comfortable for bathing.

My husband and I went on a belated honeymoon trip around Europe, and Hotel Castello Di Sinio was, by far, the highlight of our entire 3-week excursion. Denise, who owns and operates the establishment, is incredible, as is all of her amazing and dedicated staff. Denise was always around and very hands-on throughout our entire experience-- she went above and beyond to make sure we were spoiled during our entire stay. You could tell that she demanded the same superior levels of hospitality from her entire staff: everyone was so friendly, accommodating and helpful that we were truthfully floored by the exceptional level of concierge service that the hotel provided to us. Just as an example, Denise greeted us with a bottle of prosecco the second we checked in (late at night after a long day of driving) - the soft jazz music playing in the background, the majesty of the 12th century castle, and her instant warmth and graciousness towards us immediately put us at ease and made the stresses of the day disappear. Even more amazingly, Denise also operates as Executive Chef for the hotel restaurant. It was honestly one of the most extraordinary dining experiences we have ever had, and this is coming from two people who live in NYC and get exposed to world-renowned restaurants fairly frequently. Honestly, her food is a work of art. The composition of each course, the pairing of flavors, the delicate preparation of the meat, and the extraordinary and carefully arranged wine selections were all outstanding. Even if you don't stay at Castello Di Sinio, if you are in the area, you must dine at the restaurant and experience it for yourself! There is absolutely negative I could say about our experience at the castle. We will definitely be staying there again and will also recommend it to all of our friends and family.

The Castello Di Sinio is a perfect weekend getaway for those who search a beautiful and romantic place in the Barolo wine area. Most little cities in Barolo became very crowded over the past years. Sinio still has its original charm. The hotel was very nicely renovated some years ago and turned into a luxury and very charming atmosphere without losing its medieval heritage. It has a very nice courtyard a nice little pool area. The dinner in the hotel is very good. The owner is also the chef and therefore they do not serve hotel food. You get a gourmet dinner. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The propietor, Denise, left no stone unturned. You ar greeted with Proseco and an info packet on the region from a-z.. The amentities are outstanding....the perfectly laundered sheets, towels, robes. Slippers are supplied as are any toiletry you can imagine. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Everything in this castle is upscale. The food is heaven, even the huge buffet breakfast. I didn't like that I had to leave an almost perfect place in beautiful Peimonte.
