Hotel Castello  

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in beautiful grounds and the room was comfortable. It was such a relaxing place to stay that we didn't actually get in to Modena as we were too busy relaxing in the grounds! Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay, if you don't mind the out of town location

If you have a car, this is a very convenient location, as it is just outside Modena, where parking is very limited. It was in a quiet location in the fields, even though not far from the city and from major highways

It really looks like you are in a castle. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Amazing outdoor space for a coffee and tea. For the price, it was definitely the best choice for me.

The main house was very picturesque but our room was in the adjacent building which was more modern. There is a good restaurant about 5 min walk down the road. The bar at hotel Castello is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly.

The hotel could have had a restaurant for evening meals. No other complaints!!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, easy parking, nice breakfast

This lovely hotel is approx. 4km from the centre of Modena. Very peaceful and tranquil setting. Nice, friendly staff who are very helpful. Family run and very much hands on. Room was spacious and bathroom fully equipped and clean. A good place to stay if you want to go the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

Can't think of anything in this hotel that I didn't like. They don't serve evening meals but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

rooms looked a little basic but they were actually mega comfortable, so don't judge by first impressions

No restaurant (for dinner) in the hotel, but several different restaurants close by. Ask staff for best restaurant that suits your preference.

Staff was extremely friendly and warm. The room was brand new and clean! Breakfast was definitely good. Position: easily reachable from the high way, 5 minutes (by car) to the city center, perfect for a very quiet sleep!

It was a beautiful hotel with nice, clean and warm rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, both when we arrived and when we checked out. The staff serving breakfast was also very friendly. I liked this hotel a lot and will recommend it.

To visit all the supercar factories is very good, central and easy to found.

Beautiful surrounds, very friendly owners and staff with good English. Very clean hotel and nice breakfast. Easy free parking. We decided to skip breakfast on the last day for some extra sleep. When checking out, well after breakfast time, they had left everything out and insisted we have some. Then the owner shared some of his mother's home made cakes! As if that wasn't enough, we were given a box of chocolates for Xmas when we departed. Very kind.

Was a bit noisy from other rooms and the corridor.

Everything! I have stayed here many times and it is always perfect, the only thing missing is a restaurant but this is Italy and there are more good restaurants than people, this hotel is first class everytime!

The location was great - you felt like you were in the countryside when you were only 5-10 min drive from the city centre of Modena, depending on traffic and weather conditions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and they think of just about everything - shoe cleaners (especially in the wet weather!), charging points for phones, iPods etc, umbrellas. The room we had was large and comfortable as was the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Loved the breakfast! Free wifi throughout the hotel was great.

Very nice property. A bit hard to find, they could use a better map on the site. Once we got there it was nicee & friendly. The staff gave us a lot of time and maps and great recommendations.

Good choice, convenient location and easy parking. Staff were very helpful, and the accommodation very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast provided, offered a good selection and of course also included excellent italian cappuccino coffee!
