Hotel Castello  

Zeer nette kamers, vriendelijk personeel en een perfecte ligging. We zouden zeker dit hotel terug kiezen.

Het ontbijt was wel heel simpel en gewoon. Een eitje erbij en 'tzou al veel beter zijn. Ondanks dit zouden we terugkeren want ergens anders is het ook niet alles.

Dichtbij alle toeristisch interessante plaatsen. Heel centraal gelegen.

Staff was lovely, welcoming to our family of 6. a bit pricey for what we got, but overall nice and convenient.

It was a lot smaller than portrayed on computer

The Location was excellent , the staff were helpful , it was a good value for money , warm and cosy, everything worked as it should, its not a beautiful, chic , modern hotel - its more of a simple, everything is fine and this is all we need for our stay type hotel.

Decorations in my Room is beautiful,room is clean and tidy.

1. Bath room in my room is not friendly. There is only a very samll bath tub(about half of the normal size) and with out a fixed shower, which means that you need to hold the shower head by you hand!Damn it! 2. It is said that there is a free-wifi in the hotel. Yes, there was, but not in your room, it is only available in the ground floor! If you want to use wifi in your own room, you need to pay 2 euros for an hour or 8 euros for 5 hours. 3. Their staffs are not so willing to help. When I doubt about their wifi is not free as they describe online, they said it not them who provide the wifi service, it an other company. I don't think that is honest. Besides, when I ask the reception to help me print my boarding pass, the staff said it was impossible and just ask me to find a Internet bar!

location is good, nice rooms. good breakfast plenty of shops nearby.

Good location, very nice room

We spent one night in Hotel Castello in November 2011. Perfect location for those who want to stay in the center (2 minutes from S.Zaccaria vaporetto stop, 1 minute from San Marco square). Polite and friendly stuff (although we did not need much of their assistance), very comfortable, warm clean and beautifully decorated room, very clean and warm bathroom (with towels, hairdryier, etc). Descent breakfast. No complaints at all. I would definitely stay there next time and I would recommend it to anyone.

Hotel was in a good location.

We were travelling with 2 teenage children and were given a tiny room, couldn't swing a cat. Three single beds and a campcot bed. The bathroom also had a door leading out to the corridor. Very strange. Had booked room in April and my credit card was debited with the full amount. Stayed at the hotel in late Sept. Requested another room but was told there were none available and all their rooms only have single beds. Very low wooden celing and the window looked out at a 6 foot cement wall. Felt extremely claustrophobic and could not sleep at night. Receptionists were not helpful unlike waiting staff who served a good breakfast.

nice people in the hotel make me feel very good.

The room was small. It's ok for two people. No space for lungages.

The excellent buffet breakfast together with the terrace bar which was open from 4pm to 10pm. The Hotel's location being only a 3 minute walk from St Marks Square and 5 minutes to the Vaporetta jetties.

Central location. Quite comfortable. Rooms for two can be alittle bigger.

No complaints. Staff were always helpful.
