Fantastic staff, service was amazing. There was always a driver waiting at the train station on our return from Rome each day! This service was first class. The hotel was spotless, our room was immaculate. Breakfasts were great with the best cappuccinos ever. We loved this place and can't wait to return... Hopefully soon!!!
Very nice staff offering any information needed. Clean room.. Great value of money. Thanks. Highly recommended
Not the case
the staff were great, especially the evening clerk who was so kind as to provide a meal for us when we arrived late and had not eaten.
The pool was not heated and it would have been great to have had a hot tub
Free pick up and drop off at the nearest train station. Very informative and helpful staff. Our room was huge and had 2 balconies. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was simple but great.
The location was well out of the city center and required a shuttle to the train station and a train to the city center. Your day is centered around this transportation and there aren't a lot of dinner options within walking distance from the hotel.
Attentive, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and great cappuccinos!
The last train leaves for the hotel at 11 p.m. so you won’t experience Rome’s night life, but you will pay much more for far less if you stay in the city centre.
The hotel goes out of their way to ensure you are happy with your stay. Although it may seem some-what out of the way, the hotel provides a ride to the local train station for a quick ride into Rome. Then later in the day, they actually stay at the station to wait for your return. They also provided a ride to a great restaurant. This is a family run operation with alot of pride showing. I would definitely stay here again.
I loved it all.
Friendliness of staff. Cleanliness. Helpful attitude of staff. Use of shuttle car to and from station.
Location close to motorway. Lack of restaurants in close proximity (only 1). Nothing in local vicinity other than residential houses.
These people go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay there. Will do that again without thinking. Excellent service ********************.
No negatives at all.
Staff were courteous.
Location. Very far from city centre, one would have to use Train to reach tourist attractions. Did not like the facilities, bad choice.
Staff, breakfast was great, large rooms, pick up from urban train(metro) great!
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable (we were upgraded!), scrupulously clean, and quiet. The free shuttle to and from Labora station was a godsend.
The plastic mattress cover made for rather sweaty nights!
We were made to feel very welcome by this family run hotel.Nothing was too much trouble, the daily trips into Rome were made easily thanks to Fabrizio and his team providing a courtesy lift to and from the local metro station each morning and evening - this free service really made visiting the sights of Rome so simple, as did any advice and assistance that was readily given if requested. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast service was ample and perfect for starting a day out in Rome.If returning to this city we would most definitely look forward to staying at Hotel Castle.
Nothing to record as negative.
Great little hotel run by the family of owners. Professional personal service and great coffee and croissants in the morning.
Everything was very good. The room is not big but very plesent. You get there everything you need and more. The most impressive was the staff efforts to make your stay as good as possible.
The location is out of the city. The hotel send you with a free shuttle to a train station and gets you back when you return
Lovely hotel and staff - very helpful. The staff team did everything to make us feel welcome and helped us with lifts to the nearby Lebaro train staion and picked us up each day.
Only negative was the distance to central Rome each day. Basically you have to get a lift to the nearby Labaro station and get a lift back when you return. Great that the hotel provides this but it is only until the last train so if you want to stay later - 23:00 onwards you are on your own and have to get a taxi back - cost about 20 Euros from Lebaro.
Quiet location, out of the city, but just a train ride into the heart of the city. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the local train station. Very clean hotel and the staff are very helpful.
Location, easy access, swimming pool, staff and accommodation
Family business and staff.... excellent!! Nice breakfast each morning Coffee and Bar in lobby was nice
Location was not close to city but the hotel made special efforts to make it convenient to the metro and train.
split our days in two. morning to afternoon by the pool, mid-afternoon trips into Rome. it was like two holidays in one. Staff dropped us off and picked us up every day from train station. also drove us to a local restaurant and picked us up when we wanted to return.
journey to the hotel on the first day was a nightmare. should have taken them up on their off of picking guests up from Termini for 25euro. instead, we decided to make our own way by bus. never again! had to take a total of 3 buses.(the 2nd bus didn't stop when we wanted to get off!) the walk from the bus to the hotel is little more than a dirt road. and almost impossible with luggage.
Amazing and helpful staff, so so helpful and always make sure everything you would want/need/like is seen to. Breakfast was great and room was lovely. No complaints what do ever. Thank you
Very friendly and helpful staff
Out of town, few options for evening meal
The very friendly staff at all hours. The proximity to the train station. Their ability to pickup and drop-off free of charge at the local station. Walked off train right in front of the Colisseum one day. Leaving the car behind. Very relaxing pool area.
Great friendly service from the staff!! Shuttle service to and from Labaro train station. If you arrive in Rome at the central train station, be sure you have a hotel contact number and they can give you directions as to using the subway to get to Labaro. Don't waste your time asking anyone at the train station!! If you are departing Rome from the FCO airport arrange your shuttle from the hotel. Great service especially if you have at least 4 people.Breakfast was very good. One of few places we stayed while traveling through Italy that really made us feel welcome to their country and city. The brothers who operate Hotel Castle are top notch (and as a bonus, they are very easy on the eyes!!)
Location some distance from center of Rome, but subway system is easy to learn and use.
Hospitality and it's genuine family made our stay comfortable and insured our stay was cozy which it was. Take the subway from the airport or train station:-) and arrive at the hotel in 15 min away. **** I'm from Sarnia, Ontario Canada!
The staff are really helpful, offer a superb transfer service to and from the local train station, nice clean hotel with everything you need.
