Room and hotel in general were clean.

Breakfast was pretty poor, no WiFi, no air conditioning, location wasn't good.

The breakfast was good.

Is so far away of the nearest metro station. There is no hot water. You need to pay for the internet.

Hotel Catalani e Madrid was a very nice hotel. It was initially hard to find due to a wrong turn we made, but after we found it, it was a relaxing home in a rainy day. The staff was nice and spoke decent english, the room was large enough for 3 (we had the hotel room right above the front door), working fan (no a/c), tv, shower and bath worked fine, enough electrical outlets to charge items. Overall very nice. Breakfast was also larger compared to other hotels. Croissants with jam or nutella, toast, cereal, sandwich meat, cookies, coffee bar, capuchino, yogurt. Was all very well done. City tax is normal, get ready to pay 2 euro per person.

Internet was charged and having the hotel room above the front door you could hear the street at night and those having parties, but once you could get past that, again the hotel was very nice.

Staff was rude. Room noisy area a long way from the subway. Really expensive for such a poor standard of hotel. No lift so be careful if you have heavy bags.

As you would expect from a budget hotel, 15ish minutes walk to the Metro which is 1.50euro and 10 minutes into town centre

Hotel couldn't hold our bags on the last day of our trip which meant we had to store at the train station at cost. Rooms very basic, not close to the centre, but manageable. Moulin Rouge (Italian & Chinese) restaurant left out of the hotel fantastic value.

The room is cold, the hotel is very noisy as if the walls made of paper.

It was a great stay. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. everyone speaks English fluently. Clean room. Delicious breakfast. Calm. Perfect for the solo traveler or a couple.

No parking so I guess not good for the traveler with their one transport.

Distance from city centre/things to do and see. While we were there there was a public transport strike and we found it very difficult to get around.

The only positive aspects were that it was nearby 2 metro stations (Loreto and Piola), the bath had warm water and a hairdryer

Cannot express in words the feeling... The room's walls was dirty, had no fridge, the bathroom's faucet hadn't been cleaned for ages -especially the shower-, the blankets were see-through from the holes on it... If someone got lucky, he'd pumb on the only english-speaking employee at the reception (no english for the 3 others). Breakfast was poor, the place that it was served too small and served also the hotel beside (it was also lied to the hotel beside, but anyway...). Not good value for its money, don't stay there!

slabé raňajky, kúpelňa s veľmi slabou úrovňou, cez steny počuť takmer každého okoloidúceho, zástavka metra ďaleko.

la disponibilità e la professionalità nonché la simpatia del personale è alquanto eccelente. Hotel pulito. Zona poco rumorosa.

Odore insopportabile di fumo in camera, no ascensore no segnalato, personale non disponibile...impossibile dormire, occupanti delle camere limitrofe molto giovani e molto rumorosi anche in piena notte...nessuno li ha mai ripresi. Hotel pessimo
