The B&B staff was very kind and helpful. Also the location of the apartment was very close to the city center, like a 10 min. walk. Nearby you can find the Castle Ursino and Teatro Greco. Our apartment had all the facilities and it was situated in a decent area of the city.

Location quite good, staff nice, breakfast good. we need to pay cash (we were told, that it isn't possible to pay with credit card). The bathroom is in another place. on the internet it looked, that rooms are decorated in vintage style, but in truth there was nothing except kitsch

We had a very pleasant stay at Catania City Center B&B. Some of the reviews were negative due to the location but we did not find it threatening and it was quite an experience. The staff is very knowledgeable on Catania and extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend staying here to my friends.

I liked the service, very gentle and willing. I liked the decoration. I liked the breakfast. I like the position. I did not like the bathroom, a bit old and some humidity. No elevator for going up (old building).

In this b&b we received the luxury of 5 stars DeLuxe together with the cosiness of home and warmth of staying with friends. Everybody is eager to help without coldness of professionalism. You are encouraged to have breakfast in the most comfortable atmosphere and Flo's chatter every morning is a cheerful beginning to the day. I enjoyed staying in the building when it ran cats and dogs all day because all the girls working there were more than welcome to chat and joke and give tips and tell anecdotes.

This is a family hostel, rooms were used to be the homes of somebody else, it has a big bed with 2 twins, suitable for a family. The breakfast is nice, you go to the kitchen while sit down with other guests like family members, good Capochino. Location not so great, but okay, walking from train station/bus station takes 30 minutes, walking to the downtown center piazza doumo takes 10 minutes, the city is nice and historical. Staff are warm and willing to give a help. When we arrived in the train station, we could not find hotel, and called the hotel, the hotel owner is nearby by accident and picked up from the station and sent to the hotel. Very nice!

Great big rooms, all with a theme ! We had the Etna theme :) Great price too! We loved how the place was decorated. Quite comfortable. Staff was excellent! They helped us with everything we needed, arranged our excursions, lent us trekking shoes, gave us maps with marked places to visit, gave us big bottles of water for a donation of 1 euro each. Also, location was very satisfactory. Few minutes walk from the centre. All in all, wonderful experience :) If we ever go to Catania again, we'll sure choose this B&B again!

Location. Friendly and informative staff. We ordered a flat, because of the need to have a kitchen. The kitchen, however, was almost non existing, broken pots and missing tableware. The breakfast at the b&b was boring, and the cleaning of the flat was poorly.

The design of the room. The breakfast. The friendly and helpful staff. To me, the area is very local and interesting. I simply like it a lot. We could see fireworks (before the National Day) and even a horse in the opposite building from the balcony. So funny! But to my friends they felt very unsafe and they didn't like the location at all. Quite far away from the train/bus station (from north). Especially if you have big and heavy luggages with you like my friends.

the b&b is situated near the city center (really close to castle ursino, 10 minutes walk to piazza duomo); the staff was really nice and friendly; the breakfast was good, with a diversity of choices and an excellent cappucino; the room was big, with its own bathroom and a fridge; cable tv and dvd player; big bed; acces to all kitchen facilities the b&b has no sign, no banner, it's not marked in any way, so if you don't have the exact address and a map, i doubt that anyone you would ask, would know about it; there was no wardrobe in the room, we only had some hangers on a string in the same room with the fridge; the lighting in the room was very poor, the two windows were too little for the room ; the room was in front of the kitchen so it was really noisy, we could also hear anyone climbing or going down the stairs; the room was kind of cold and the AC didn't heat at all; the breakfast table had only 7 places, so if you could have to wait for your turn to eat

“It was very well positioned, right in the main street of Catania (Etna) with a great view to Mount Etna. Excellent view towards Etna Av. Very clean room and bathroom. Hotel staff was helpfull and were able to talk in English. The breakfast was very well served and they would even make capuccinos for us. The room had a fridge and air conditioned. Definitely a place where I would stay again and recommend.” Bruno, Gemunde |
