The staff, Filippo, was amazing - he gave us useful indications, came with us to park the car and was extra-helpful. The hotel is lovely, clean and excellent value for money. If you're in Tivoli, look no further!
Excellent location, very attentive staff, nice breakfast
Nothing at all
It was fresh, clean and well presented. Phillipo gave us loads of information regarding sights, busses and dining. It was a pleasant walk to Villa D'Este.
Helpful staff gave us a lot of information about the surrounding area.
Very limited options during breakfast, specially if you're a vegan like me, or if you prefer salty stuff. The rooms in the hotel are quite spacious, but because of their classic style we personally found them to be a bit creepy during the night, specially the bathroom. Not the fault of the hotel, but all the public parking spots on the street by the river were occupied, except for one belonging to the hospital nearby (it's not free, but you may prefer to leave your car on the parking lot close to the Villa Gregoriana and save yourself the stress).
Nice facility at walking distance from historical places to visit. Very friendly helpful staff. Providing useful information electronically on how to reach the location
B&B Catillo is an excellent place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff.
Very helpful English speaking staff. Street parking free if you manage to get a spot on Viale Roma. Outside ZTL. Very comfortable and clean and well maintained. Spacious room. Good quality finishings. Looks new despite being a few years old. Short walk to villa d'este and town centre. Good driving instructions emailed prior to arrival. Reasonable wifi speed.
Private toilet can be outside of room. Easy to miss entrance on Viale Roma - it's next to the petrol kiosk. Basic breakfast.
The accommodations were beautiful...a former monastery with large rooms and a nice balcony. Marco was incredible! He was so kind and helpful. He even picked us up at the train station and drove us back! The breakfast was very good, and they had an elevator! Very reasonable price for a wonderful B&B!!
Location & staff
No place to park the car.
Extremely helpful and informative reception staff. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Decor in keeping with character of the house. Very good security. Delicious breakfast.
Very small negative - snippy young waitress at breakfast.
Staff was extremely helpful and spoke English. Location was perfect. Room and bathroom were spacious Complimentary water Breakfast was good. Friendly locals.
No extra blankets.
The room was beautiful, nice balcony (not for the view) comfortable beds, good breakfast and very friendly personnel.
The location felt a bit off, but is close to the city center. also the villa's are close to the hotel
Large bedroom, large bathroom, pleasant dining area with pleasant staff.
Loved it...a bit hard too find...but that's part of Italy's charm!
This is a great little gem found in an excellent location. The staff was very accommodating and always available. I can not wait to return for another visit.
Great staff, beautiful
So many stairs
Great staff, great room, great location
Italian breakfast have difficulties to be organic and tasty, but I think this is a cultural issue. As to Italian standards, this was good
We booked here as a base to visit Rome. It was excellent and we couldn't fault it. Max and his team were more than helpful could speak English and made our stay very pleasant. The train station into Rome only 10 mins away and lots nice restaurants / pizzerias handy. The unit very clean and spacious. We stayed 5 nights.
Initially car parking was a wee problem but that was because we arrived at the weekend and Trivoli was very busy. Max soon found us a parking and we very happy.
Room was large, clean and compy. we were greeted warmly by the staff, who gave us all the info we needed. AS we were leaving early in the morning ,we had a breakfast box waiting for us in the room. All in all agreat stay -though a short one.
As our host told us, we were lucky to find a pat\rking spot in front of the hotel.parking may be a problem in the narrow streets. AH,yes my wife could use a shower cap ..... that was not there.....
What a fabulous place, so beautiful. Don't do what we did and ignore their instructions. They told us not to use Sat Nav, but we did anyway and spent a hot and frustrating hour driving round Tivoli. When we stopped and read the instructions properly, just past the hospital, it was easy. Marco then kindly came in the car with us to take us to a free car park near the back entrance of this lovely old building. The room was done to the highest standard, we used the ceiling fan to cool it. Bed very comfy, shower great, room quiet, no noise at all. It was a short walk to a great restaurant, one of Marco's helpful suggestions (Ciocco), right on the edge of the gorge. Breakfast was also excellent, fresh fruit salad, juices (I had peach), croissants, toast, pastry, good jams. We left the luggage there while we visited the Villa d'Este, only a short walk away (breathtaking!). Wish we had been able to stay another night, would love to come back.
central location clean mostly friendly staff bed comfortable good sized rooms
breakfast a bit lacking in quantity bathroom not en-suite not cheapest B&B bedroom tax in cash credit card surcharge
Max and staff were excellent, all very helpful. B&B Catillo helped make it a day we will never forget.
My wife is disabled, only problem getting to the breakfast room, the stairs were steep, but she managed.
We could not fault this hotel. Our room was lovely, as was Tivoli. The hotel is situated in the medieval side streets in the centre of the town, and we were able to park our car outside the hotel overnight. Good breakfast. To be recommended :) DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR SAT NAV....
It's definitely a challenge to find but more than worth it :)
The staff were friendly, helpful & knowledgable. The room was beautiful, very clean & comfortable.
It took a little while to get used to having a bathroom across the hall from the room.
There is nothing outside of this hotel that would indicate its exquisite quality. It is beautifully decorated with comfortable, modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious and everyone went out of their way to accommodate us- including coming to escort us when we got lost trying to drive to the hotel.
