Cavaliere Palace Hotel    

We had a quiet room with excellent facilities. The restaurant and reception are decorated lavishly and the breakfast was waiter served with a wide choice

The hotel is on a pedestrian only street and instructions to get to the hotel left a lot to be desired

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, and if you can get a special offer, incredibly good value for money. The town is lovely with a lot of atmosphere and also great for walks, though the trails are often only waymarked at the beginning, then you are left to your own devices! Lots of good restaurants, mainly in the upper town. Try the osteria del Matto in piazza Mercato (closed Tues), for great local cuisine, but no choice, you get what they decide to cook that day depending on what's available.

Absolutely everything. Service from the young lady receptionist and the young breakfast waitperson couldn't have been more helpful. Loved the location. I have wonderful memories from my first solo travel experience - thank you!

The entrance to the hotel is attractive. The staff tries to be helpful.

The hotel room furnishings & carpet are run down and need to be replaced. The bedding and window coverings needs to be updated.

Very comfortable, wide room with frescos on the ceiling. Furnitures very charmy and elegant. Quite close to the railway station, you can walk if with light luggages with wheels. Otherwise the city bus service (tickets on board) works pretty well

Breakfast was good, but not at the same high level of the hotel. The shower wasn't a 4 stars' one. The hotel isn't in the city center, but Spoleto is very small and in 15' you can reach any place.

The location, the room, the breakfast and the staff.

It´s our second stay at this hotel and the location is very good in the centre of Spoleto. The rooms are clean, big enough, nice breakfast, nice staff and basically what you need at a hotel. Spoleto is not only great for a city trip, but also the mountains on the other side of the bridge invites for some really great hikes. It´s really recommendable to use the trails. Nr 1 even got a cute little tunnel made in the 1800s, just make sure to have a flash light or a cellular phone for some light :)

It´s not really about the hotel, but the parking is a bit tricky. It´s not outside the hotel, you´ll have to walk a little bit, you can drop the luggage from the Piazza (which is usually very busy) so it´s an advantage to be a bit organised.

The location of this hotel is perfect the staff are very friendly whilst maintaining a very professional manner everything was in our eyes wonderful!!!

If I was to pick on any fault it would be no english TV stations!!!

Very comfortable room, spacious .good bathroom with plenty of hot water.Efficient air-conditioning.Very helpful staff on front desk, one young guy with excellent english made us very welcome.

Situated on pedestrianised street.Had to visit police station to obtain permit to allow us to drive to hotel to unload luggage,and again on leaving,to reload!

The hotel staff were very friendly, the hotel itself was amazing in traditional Italian design yet very modern. Everything Worked!

The staff were very friendly and helped us find the right place to park. We had a very good deal - it was out of season - and our room was very big, with a bath, and clean. The breakfast was good too.

The towels are changed every day - we were only there two nights and it really isn't necessary. It's a shame there are no international channels in any other languages (English, French or Spanish would have suited us).

Classy little hotel in a pretty town.

Parking is a pain. You need to park in Garibaldi Square then walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Then get a parking pass, return to the vehicle, move it outside the city walls. When you leave you have to return the parking pass.

This hotel is located in the old city, and easy to find, but it is not in the historical center itself. A reasonably short (but uphill) walk takes you there. The place is a pedestrian area, but the hotel's reception will make sure that you can park free in the neighbourhood. A nice oldworldly atmosphere can be found there, but the ceiling frescoes mentioned in the description can be found only in some more expensive rooms and in the tv lounge.

Breakfast. The ceiling frescoes in the bfst room are fake and the coffee/food is substandard. And the Cavaliere's restaurant is closed permanently except for social events

Very hard to find and not good for folks with limited mobility as you have to park quite a ways away.

Nice hotel on main shopping street of historic Spoleto. We had a spacious room with a view of the main street. The public areas of the hotel have charming renaissance painted ceilings (or reconstructions). Breakfast is fine. To visit the main historic locations (Duomo etc.' you can either walk up the hill through charming streets or take the escalators. The hotel provides a parking license for free (but with a deposit).

very decent sized room, lovely view, quiet, beautiful decor, friendly staff, pleasant garden, huge bed, great location in the centre of town, half a dozen nice restaurants within 15 minutes walk, reasonably close to public transport

it was all good four star service.

Palace itself, room size, nice bathroom, great location, good breakfast.

Some inconveniences for those who are traveling by car.
