Perfect location, great room of classic design, extremely helpful staff, very reasonably priced - run very efficiently. Location and staff stand out particularly.

Would benefit from wifi being available in rooms rather than just the lobby.

Great booking for us for last minute. It's right off from St.Mark's square.

Love the location off San Marcos, walk to everything. Out the windows were the gondolas. Very "Venice" feeling.

Soft goods could use a little refresh. Shower configuration was strange.

- Wifi signal not strong enough to receive in room and sometimes inaccessible in lobby - no tea making facilities - only plastic glasses

Everything. Food was too expensive; wifi did not work; bed too hard, room was ugly and the price was too expensive for a cheap hotel.

I realky loved our room...it was spacious and the toilets were very clean. We were close to St. Marks square and also the Hard Rock Cafe. Everything was perfect.

We were not getting anyb wi fi in our room as the signal was too weak. That seemed to be the only drawback. Also it was quite a but of a walk especially with our luggage to reach the hotel.

The location was fantastic .The hotel is only 50 m from Piazza San Marco .Also is a unique experience to see from the window many gondolas .

We stayed at the fourth floor .This floor needs renovation immediately .The door of the room, the floors, the walls .evrything needs renovation .

Suggestion: You should indicate how to reach hotel through St. Mark's Plaza. We could have saved 20 minutes and a good deal of energy trying to find the hotel otherwise.

Terrible front desk service. Very rude attendants. Poor wifi connect (had to sit in the lobby to get any coverage)

No Aircon, Insufficient Fan, Paint peeling, Wifi poor (had to sit in the hallway. Took 4 hours and a second reminder to get a Kettle. Restaraunt under repair during day and evening. If tide is out water taxi won't go there. Becasue we were in second block we had to get let in electronically. Paint peeling. Bathroom Fan in operative. Mirror light inoperative. Overpriced rubbish.

The wifi was non-existent and the staff did not care at all. Travelling for work, Best Western hotels are normally reasonably reliable, however this hotel is completely unsuitable. The breakfast buffet was very average compared to others in similar price ranges in Venice - aimed at large tour groups.

The Life is from the middle age , there is no wireless in the room (which they mention on the website it is available)

Breakfast choice was limited, first day no fruit juice and slow to replenish other items that ran out.

Location is brilliant, even a room with no canal view offered a nice view of some rooftop cafes and a pleasant Venice street view. Room was modest but fine for the location and decent cost.

Our bathroom had a serious funk about it, which probably comes down to poor plumbing. Otherwise staff were overworked and thus it was difficult to get more than a few seconds of their time. Internet which was meant to be available in the rooms was not available at all except in the lobby, and I get the sense that this was the norm.

Bedroom very small.

Excellent location. Charming staff, very helpful. Room was clean and bathroom had a deep tub. Windows of our room looked down on the gondolas. Hotel close to excellent restaurants and shopping as well as the grand canal, Piazza San Marco and the Ducal palace. Good water taxi service too. Turn left out of the hotel lobby and walk down to the first restaurant on the right. It is excellent. I wish I could remember the name. Best meal we had in Italy! I would stay here again. Rooms and meals are expensive in Venice but the location is well worth the price.

The bed was a bit hard and small. The staff forgot our wake up call for 4:00 A.M. We had a water taxi to the airport for 4:30. We just made our plane.

Hotel is old and needs restoration. The bath is not clean. The value is too high for the facilities provided. Very bad breakfast, do not use it!!!

Hotel location is amazing although we had trouble finding it as Venice is a maze. But actually it is a mini-bridge away from San Marco and within the inner streets where all the restaurants and night hang-outs are.

Staff not friendly, the room was too small and old, internet not working well in rooms.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, ready to provide any possible assistance to the guests.

Some rooms are small, and some don't have a very good view, but that's Venice, other hotels in the area will be similar.
