The views of the gondoliers in the morning and it's location is spot on. It's about 35 metres from St Marco square. 5-10 minutes walk from the Rialto bridge. Locations excellent. The rooms we stopped in were very dated. Two couples went and both rooms were small and would have looked very dated back in the 70's. Terrible wall paper and finishing. But it was worth it for it's location. |

possition was excellent Yes i paid for a larger room and got given a very small room and my collegue got my room who only paid for a small room, we didnt discover this till check out. No Hair dryers for ladies wanting to wash and style their hair for this reason only i would not stay at this hotel again as i must always have a hair dryer. |

The location of the Hotel is perfect, you could not get closer to St Marks square in Venice, Also you can arrange a Gondola to pick you up directly at the Hotel |

We had a great view of the Gondalas on the canal outside our window, Quiet staff pleasant. Room clean reasonable size Would have liked a balcony, however had two windows in room both overlooking canals |

Very little. Location is convenient, but there are others and better ones. Furniture was broken, bath took 4 hours to drain after a shower, Webside states thre is an elevator, but in fact it is only for 2 floors.My room was on the 4th floor of an adjacent maze of stairs I got lost every time. Breakfast was poor, one morning spoiled fruit salad was served, breakfast staff was unfriendly and took foreever to bring capuccino. |

the situation is excellent. The view to the canal charming. It was interestin to follow the work of condolieres. The hotel is near every important in Venice. Although it is 4 star hotel it is not so luxerious, only the prices at the bar are, but we liked our stay in this hotel. It is always difficult to reach the hotel from airport. It could be more information about that in the reservation. Venice is not for the handicup, because you have to carry your luggage quite a way to the hotel. |

i enjoyed my stay at the Albergo Cavalletto. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious; especially the criosants. |

Room was spacious and relatively well-appointed We had a "canal view" room in an adjacent building, where the canal was so tiny that the view was mostly of the building next to us. I'm guessing we didn't get the "real" canal view room (facing the Hard Rock) because we arrived late. |

This hotel has an excellect location and very nice vew to the canal. The place is a very good base for exploring the city. Unfortunately there where big cocroaches in the room (saw them twice when I switched on the lights during the night). |

The location was excellent. Gondolas just outside was lovely. Room was nice and clean but furniture was a bit worn . Staff were pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was very nice. The bar prices were extremely high. £5.50 for a cup of tea!!!! Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. |

It's actually a perfect location to visit Venice. When I made a reservation like a month before coming to Venice, I have specifically requested a non-smoking room and in fact , made again another call 3 days prior to our arrival to Venice and I was assured for my request but when we entered our room we found out right away that it was indeed a smoking room. |

Excellent location, walking distance to most of major attractions, breakfast ok, clear room and bathroom, air conditioning ok. The room and the bathroom were very big for Italy (really nice). For some reason the receptionist who received us in the morning was not friendly (he was not in the mood that day). The employees on the night shift were friendly. |
