In front of Rialto Bridge, Hotel Rialto features a terrace with views of the Grand Canal. It offers traditionally furnished Venetian rooms and suites with satellite TV.
Score from 921 reviews Very good
Antico Panada dates back to 1889. It is in 2 historic buildings, 100 ft from Saint Mark's Square. The air-conditioned rooms feature refined furniture, and Murano lamps.

Well located hotel: in front Hard Rock Cafe and a few steps from Piazza San Marco. Confortable and cosy. Nice staff.
The elevator is quite slowly. The breakfast could be better.
Location good close to main attattractions.
Room is a bit small
The Hotel was very obliging looking after our baggage after check out time until our departure. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the ;position of the hotel ideally situated.
they should send us info how to get there from airport and offer to order a water taxi, for example we paid 75 euro for public transport ticket and spent 1,5 hour while water taxi was available for 90 euro and took 20 min, in airport there was no this info, all private boats were over 130 euro.
This is not a four star hotel Very noisy, very run down and in need of a upgrade, don't understand Best Western accreditation system, we both found the breakfast area poor compared to other hotels and the senior staff to be very rude.
Room was clean and well decorated, comfy bed with linen sheets
Room upgrade as Room too hot, if opened windows could not sleep due to noise from restauant opposite
Loved Venice and the idyllic location of this hotel.
The surprise of the Venice City Tax that is required when you checkout please provide more information to make travelers fully aware.
The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. I wish to stay there for 2 nights. The breakfast array was more than I have asked for. Staffs were warm and friendly. Very near to St. Mark Basilica and accessible to everywhere..my landmark is just the St. Mark and it brings me back to my hotel in no time.
Great location. Easy to find when getting off the water bus from the airport. I would stay again. San Marco square flooded the weekend we where there, and into the hotel. The staff was very quick to clean up the water. I would recommend rain boots in the rainy season. The breakfast buffet was very good.
The beds were uncomfortable.
Location and very cheap.
Room was fine but the staff were extremely noisy and could hear them a lot. Breakfast looked vile-we left and ate elsewhere.
Very well located, literally steps away from San Marco Square. Easy to get everywhere from here.
Room was very small. Breakfast room was also too small for the number of guests staying at the hotel.
-Near Piazza San Marco (1 minute) -View to Gondola station from our window -friendly staff -big bathroom -good heater -fresh pastries and coffee at breakfast were delicious -very clean
-Double Bed was slightly too short (for a tall person like me) and not very large (probably usual for Venezia)
Very convenient to all attracting landmarks
Great location. Good breakfast when you could get to a table
The bar closed at 8.30 pm. Not open as advertised. Breakfast area far too crowded with an empty room adjacent to it
Very handy location just one bridge from the square, excellent staff who were very helpful once we made it from the boat carrying all our luggage across high water very late at night.
Extremely small shower cubicle.
It was the best location we intend to return and will hope to stay at the hotel.
This hotel has a great location, just of San Marco square and close to all the action in Venice. The hotel is clean, comfortable and great value for money.
the location is excellent for San Marco and so interesting to watch the gondolas and gondoliers from our rooms. Staff very helpful, beds very comfortable and breakfast food excellent. Great stay
slightly difficult to work out electrics in the room. breakfast room very crowded and sometimes had to wait for table. were given a kettle but would have been good to have one in each room (being English!)
We loved the location. The Hotel couldn't be closer to St Mark's Square....unless it was actually in the Square! This enabled us to stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the atmosphere of the Square when it is at it's best after the majority of visitors have left, a magical experience having this extraordinary space almost to oneself. We also appreciated the availability of free Wi-Fi. There are still far too many many establishments that erroneously believe that it is acceptable to charge their guests extra for this essential service. The multi-lingual staff's tolerance of our inability to cope with Italian pronunciation and their overall geniality was a very pleasant aspect of our stay. On the morning that we checked out the hotel lobby was flooded to a depth of several inches by the Aqua-Alta. The staff remained resolutely cheerful throughout.
The fact that the air-conditioning is only available from April to September seems to deny the fact that the Venetian weather is frequently hot and unpleasantly humid at other times. We were fortunately able to counter this by keeping both of our bedroom windows wide open throughout our stay, thus overcoming the unpleasantly stuffy and hot nature of most hotel rooms. It should be mandatory for all hotel rooms in Venice to contain a highly visible notice, in several appropriate languages, warning of the Aqua-Alta alarm. It is a truly heartstopping experience for people of our age to be wrenched awake at 3.40 AM by the deafening wail of what sounds like an Air-Raid siren! Venetians are accustomed to this....tourists are not. When the Hotel is busy, as it was during the middle of November when we were there, the breakfast room is totally unable to cope with the number of guests trying to breakfast between 8 and 9.15. You really need to dine outside of these times to enjoy the experience. It is also unacceptable to offer guests cereals which are a poor copy of the original. Kelloggs Cornflakes are universally available and inexpensive. There really is no good reason why any hotel should expect it's guests to tolerate a very poor substitute. This is particularly galling when the quality of all the other foods on offer is excellent, as was the case with this Hotel.
The location near Plazza San Marco
Staff were helpful as we arrived early and our room was ready. Staff helped with local information and directions. We were also able to leave our luggage at the end of our stay with the hotel staff as we were not returning home until that evening.
Very noisy room as our room overlooked the canal but the night noise was relentless and then the Gondoliers were preparing their Gondolas every morning at 6am and insisted on shouting to their colleagues constantly. Room was too hot and eventhough I turned the heating off the maid turned it back on again when she'd cleaned the room. We kept the windows open as much as possible but due to the noise we couldn't try to keep the room cool and quieter at the same time. Furniture in the room was a bit tired. The showerhead was unadjustable as part of it was broken. Fine for me but tricky for my 6'3" son. We specifically requested Twin beds but our beds were in fact single but pushed together and there really wasn't much room to move them apart. Not ideal! Our minibar was not stocked as per the tariff list. I advised the staff of the discrepancy so as not to incur a charge.
Fantastic location and what a view. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English and french. They made a fuss of kids and made us feel very at home.
Having to come back to France.
