Prijs/kwaliteit en een superligging

Het ontbijt. € 15,- per persoon, per overnachting voor een zeer beperkt ontbijt vind ik teveel. Het is een prima hotel maar zou de andere reizigers willen adviseren geen gebruik te maken van het ontbijt. In de stad zelf die geheel te voet bekijken kan worden zijn veel betere opties en voor minder geld.

Het hotel ligt in het drukste gedeelte van Venetie, je kunt vanuit het hotel zo in een gondel en als je een kamer hebt geboekt aan het kanaaltje kun je de hele dag de gondels af en aan zien varen.

Het hotel heeft geen restaurant, al hoewel dat wel in de folder staat. Er is wel een restaurant een aantal straten verder op dat aanbevolen wordt.Om overdag een kop koffie te bestellen , moet je veel geduld hebben.Ook de kleine bar is ongezellig en net niet open als je er behoefte aan hebt. Er is eigenlijk niets te krijgen in het hotel.

The location is central, steps from St Mark's Square, although this is mitigated somewhat by the fact that it overlooks a noisy Hard Rock Cafe.

A certain degree of price-gouging is to be expected in Venice during peak periods, so I did not mind paying €500 for a room not much bigger than a closet during a peak period. I did however mind the rudeness, sullenness, and contempt of the staff.To get them on the phone from the room is like winning lotto. Sometimes, I would let the phone ring more than 20 times before they would answer, if they would answer at all. I asked one staff member if I could have the room fee that automatically had been billed to my credit card returned, so that I could pay with cash instead, and she called a manager who was so aggressive that you would think I had been asking to borrow the money. The hotel had "free" internet, but the code they gave me prompted a screen that demanded a €25 credit card payment. Since the front desk did not answer the phone, I had no choice but to pay in order to send an important email.The next morning, after I had paid, the internet service did not work at all. Three staff members seemed nearly triumphant in refusing to refund the internet fee. Although the elevator is perhaps 3 meters from the front desk, not once did a staff member acknowledge my presence. I also minded the black mildew in the bathroom. In all, the worst experience I have had in thirty years of travel.

Location was great, although very busy .

Very tired and needs to be upgraded, hallway to our room was all scratches and the paint was all chipped and dirty . Our first room that was offered was nothing like what was promised and the picture on booking.com. Eventually we got offered something that was decent after being showed alot of substandard rooms, but the ac wasn't working well at all and we had a joining room where you could hear every word and noise from the next room. Some staff at reception and hotel were good and others were very unhelpful and said it was an old building and the ac was fine. But it wasn't breakfast was very average, we preferred to eat out. For the amount of money the room cost it wasn't worth it at all and we wouldn't stay here again. We booked late so had no choice of hotels.

Location of Hotel is great. Close to San Marco square, Gondolo's right outside hotel.

Rooms are spacious for European hotels. Well appointed bathroom and quality furnishings. Excellent location. Great view of the canal.

The staff was very kind and the room were pretty nice and clean. The view from the room was perfect ( we saw the gondolas)

the noise ( the rooms are not very much isolated) we were next to the elevator which makes a lot of noise.

It is at a very good location. The room was nice.

The doors are too thin, we could hear what is going on the corridor. The cleaning lady came very very early around 9 A.M. first.

Fantastic location, large rooms.

Location was absolutely perfect, room was big and view on the canal was definitely a bonus.

Walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking in the corridor but that was not a big issue for us
