Hotel Cavour is a 4 star hotel with 5 star quality , restaurant and bar,rooms fully equipped with mini bar, safe, flat screen TV,comfortable beds, friendly and attentive staff spoke good English,free use of computer and printer,excellent buffet breakfast ,cereals ,fruit , boiled eggs,scrambled eggs , bacon croissant,pastries,fruit juices. Very good location 2 minutes walk to a tram and bus stop on one side and 5 minutes walk to tube station in the other direction or 10 minutes walk to the town centre.This may sound like an advert for the hotel but my wife and I enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it.

The location was excellent! Only 5 minutes from the train station and only 10 minutes walk from Milan top attractions such as Duomo, Pinacoteca Brera, Shopping District...

The room was clean, the stuff was friendly and helpful. During the breakfast there were lots of foods (compared to other hotels I stayed) - the choice and quality was good. The waiters were also friendly, breakfast terrace was not overcrowded despite the size. Concerning the location - I'm very positive to stay next time in Milano in this hotel. It's close to all main attractions of this city: 10 min to Alla Scala, Galerie Vit. Em. Ii, Duomo, luxurious shopping quarter; 10 min to Castello Sforza and Park of Champions; 10 min to Corso Buenos Aires (shopping avenue). Metro is also very close but we didn't use it so I can't really comment on that :) No free WiFi, or WiFi charged by hour rate - only 24 hrs subscription (15 euros). I think it's too much, I don't need 24 hrs of internet especially when I'm out of the hotel most of the time. However it was easy to go check the mail free: near the reception there are 2 PCs.

When we were getting to the hotel, we were completely lost because we took a Metro and the way to the hotel from the Montenapoleone Metro exit were not the one we had to go. But once we got where the hotel was, we found the hotal was located very convenient place. 10-15 minutes walks to the Teatro alla Scala and Duomo. Although hotel facilities are very old, they are well maintained.You can use a pc with a printer at lounge to check-in flight and print out an e-ticket. Breakfast was par. The room was a litlle bit smelly. It is our problem that we couldn't make it without being lost, but please provide more information how to access with detail maps (E.G. There are two exits at the Montenapoleon. Which exit we had to go out? If taking a tram, which tram and which stop?) The pc at the lounge was set an Italian language keyboard and could not change it. So I had to find character input utility to type # or @ for the password to use the pc. Please arrange to be able to type them.

We stayed at Hotel Cavour for a weekend trip. Its location is great - very close to city center - we could walk to Duomo in 10-15 minutes. Hotel was also clean and staff were friendly. Hotel Cavour definitely a good choice looking at its location and value for money compared to other Milan hotels.

The location was perfect. The hotel staff really made you feel welcome, and they helped us out with a lot of things. The breakfast was just delicious with fresh fruits, bacon and egg, bread etc. We recommend this hotel warmly!!

The staff are very helpful and it is very clean. The breakfast on the first day in the restaurant was not as good as the breakfast taken on the mezzanine the next day. There was less choice of food, empty jar of juices, etc.

The location of the hotel was superb for a weekend break as it was close to Via del Spiga for luxury shopping and also the Victor Emmanuel gallery for the more affordable stores. The Duomo and also the Brera Museum are in easy walking distance. Cavour Plaza is just a step away where tram no 1 can be caught. It is also very close to a metro stop. Breakfast was abundant and enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well both nights. I am surprised that one is still charged for internet access in a 4 star hotel. The air conditioning wasn't working but as I was overlooking a quiet courtyard I could sleep with the window open.

Just location The pictures on the site are not the same as in real! There was not a conditioner, it was very hot in the room, impossible for rest and sleeping! Staff said that the system is working for the whole hotel and they do not have a conditioner. The hair dryer is old and bad. The furniture is old.
