We checked out at normal time but the hotel made a room available for my husband to shower after the marathon. Very helpful, arranged taxi, showed us how to walk to closest metro station etc
Nothing bad to report
The location ONLY!
I just trusted too much the booking.com score! The room looked o.k. in the first place, but was to smelly and there were some bugs in the room, moving on my body! Not biting though, but very uncomfortable!
Spacious room, clean, large comfortable bed, effective air conditioning, excellent location
Curt welcome. Dark and oppresive decor ( in our room - Michaelangelo)exacerbated by very poor lighting. Wi-Fi erratic. The hot water was not working when we came in on Wednesday night, I informed reception, the lady went to the control and I assumed it was fixed, but it was not. After I had complained again ( after a cold shower the next morning) I was offered the use of another room but by then ( after another member of staff had arrived and clearly pressed the right buttons the water was warmer). No reduction was made on the bill. My point is that the matter could have been rectified when I informed the receptionist on wednesday night- if she didn't know how to fix the problem she should have called someone
Rooftop terrace for evening drinks Beautiful & opulent decor Cosy & intimate feel
Fantastic location, well sized room, great view from the terrace with a glass of wine at sunset.
Nice interior, very good location ( nearby the center of ancient Rome). Interesting for people with limited demand on (expensive) hotel facilities.
Limited breakfast choice.
Location, clean and renovated new rooms (a bit small, but for one person big enough). The breakfast was ok for Italian standards. Nice roof area with a small gym. Wifi worked very well.
No complains really
Very close to the Colosseum. Friendlty staff Excellent room
the interior was lovely. the location is amazing.
very small room, could barely fit in the shower and had to use a towel wrapped around my hand to turn it on... it was stuck. the air conditioning was BARELY ON!!! and no way to control the temperature in the room... it was HOT! a very large bug was found in the room. no parking whatsoever. and WAY OVER PRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET!!! will NOT stay there again.
Location great for FAO meetings, in walking distance, restaurants near hotel. Breakfast good.
location and look and feel.
breakfast a bit simple
Very good location (near the Colseum and a subway sation) and helpful staff. The bathroom was a charm. The rooms are very small but very comfortable.
The WiFi signal in my room was not so good, but it seemed all right in the other parts of the hotel.
Location. It is very close to many important sites and to the metro for getting to other locations in the city. The roof garden was amazing. The room was very quiet and spacious. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were most helpful. It was a perfect choice.
No elevator, but I knew this before I came and having the suite on the top floor was well worth the effort.
Bathroom was tiny, no elevator.
Hotel location. Staff very helpful And Kind. Elegant furniture, beautiful historical palace.
Too expensive for a *** star hotel. suitable only if you want to stay 100 meter far from colosseum. In My room the smell of mould was clearly perceivable. Poor breakfast With packaged stuff, no buffet
This is a great little hotel, rooms are not too big but comfortable, tasteful and clean. Good Italian style breakfast, very nice and helping staff. The location is perfect, close to the centre but at the same time in a quiet street. There are some nice restaurants close to the hotel. When in Rome again I will stay at the Hotel Celio again.
Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. Beautiful old building and decor with modern ammeneties. All within a block if the Coliseum. Will stay there again.
Loved the "Gothic" decor, drapes, rich wallpaper, ornate lights, chandeliers, marble stairs and tiles, pictures. Charming, friendly hotelier.
room is a bit small
Decor, location, staff nice
Very small room ground floor couldnt open windows,
