Hotel Lisbona is just 100 yards from Saint Mark's Square, and the closest water bus station is Vallaresso. Rooms are decorated with furniture and fabrics reminiscent of 18th-century Venetian style.

Small, comfortable, clean and good value for money given position.
The only small thing would be to improve internet connection so could help with planning sight seeing and calling on Skype to family and friends.
Adequate heating when it was very cold outside. Nice breakfast.
I didn't like the Centauro Hotel. We needed to walk 2hours to find it, nobody in Venice knows this hotel. The staff at the reception was unfriendly. In the hotel there isn't a lift. The rooms nd the bath are really small. The hotel isn't pet friendly but the owner is allowed to take in his own dog. I will never go back at Centauro Hotel
Very nice breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful view from our room.
Rooms are a bit outdated, but I suppose it adds to the Venice experience.
Wonderful location with well appointed rooms. Friendly staff.
NO LIFT going to upstairs... A budget hotel, nice breakfast, location is nice, very near in Rialto Water taxi station. Wifi is horrible to connect!
Quiet location yet very central. Vaparetto stop very close, including the stop for the airport. Breakfast was substantial with a good range. Staff were very helpful.
Bathroom was a bit small for tall people.
The staff was rude and not helpful. It was very hard to find when we arrived.
location is perfect
smallest room i ever stayed, not for claustrophobic people )))
Easy accessable from trainstation wuth water taxi stop very close by, very friendly and helpfull staff, rooms warm, as it was very cold outside, very central walking to all other sites and close to very goid pizziaras..enjoyed the stay..thaks very much..breakfast standard. Loved the shower as it had a door and not a curtain.
bathroom small with not many space to unpack toiletries if 4 persons,
Great price for Venice, convenient central location, good breakfast (sweet and savory pastries, cold breakfast meats and cheese, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, juices). Comfortable temperature in winter, warm but not overheated (I hate an overheated hotel room!). VERY comfortable bed and GREAT pillows (thick and firm).
We were locked in the hotel at 6:45 a.m. until we managed to chase down an employee who was starting to set up breakfast upstairs (but breakfast is not until 8 a.m., so we were lucky we found anyone at all to let us out). Very inconvenient!
Room decoration is beautiful Position of the hotel is convenient to go to the most famous places Friendly staffs
Bad noise isolation: I could hear the unexpected voice from the other room No lift Bathroom is too small
Good lacation walking distance of st Marco and shopping streets. The hotel is located in a very tiny street difficult to found it. Will be great to have a sign on the plazza near the statue We had the bedroom number 10 and matresses had a large divit need to be replace Other than this point we will recommand this hotel good value, clean and very quite. Staff very nice
Matresses chamber 10 too old need to be replace

It is a quiet, clean, confortable place, very close to San Marcos and Rialto. Breakfast is great and delicious, some days you can even get hot pancakes!
If it is the first time you visit Venice and you are coming by train, at night, you better take a vaporetto to Rialto -if you try to walk to the hotel you will probably get lost (it took one nor for us to get there). One of the receptionist was not kind and could not speak English.
Great location, friendly staff. No lift tho, so lots of stairs which may be a problem for some people. Breakfast room was beautiful and lovely selection of food. Overall excellent value.
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The Centauro Hotel is in the perfect position for exploring the city. We will definitely stay again.

My husband and I were exceptionally pleased with our stay at this charming truly Veneitian style hotel. Our room was typical European small but quaint and comfortable. The bathroom also is small and may not have been as convenient for large people, but it worked just great for us. We arrived late in the evening and found ourselves on an adventure when we were a little challenged to find the hotel. Because we were not at all familiar with what Venice was really like with the narrow streets, frequent bridges to cross with the myriad of canals, we had to ask for directions from others on the labyrinth like streets. The exceptionally high-tide and a day of heavy rain had flooded most of the streets including the one in front of the hotel. We had noticed several couples walking with brightly colored knee high boots and began to understand their attire. We met a couple of women in a large square and asked for directions. Coincidentally they were staying at the Centauro also and pointed out the small hotel sign that was down the narrow flooded street right in front of us. We all laughed about how to get in without soaking our feet/shoes since we did not have boots. We opted to take off our shoes and walk through the large puddles. We considered it a Venetian adventure and simply laughed our way into the hotel. The location is very convenient - about a 5 minute walk from the Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco square. Stores and restaurants abound. Proximity to the large canal make taking the water taxi or a gondola ride very convenient. The staff were very friendly. A large delicious buffet style breakfast (variety of rolls, pastries, pancakes, ham, salami, cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, granola, juice, milk, coffee, tea, cocoa and more) was available in a beautiful, large, bright dining area with a nice balcony.
No lift but we had read the reviews so we were prepared for that. Travel lightly .
Good position between Rialto and San Marco, reasonable breakfast
Miserable woman on reception, asked for a double bed but was given two singles pushed together. Not worth the extra for the canal view
The hotel was very central to all the major sights
Lovely room overlooking a canal, gondolas, barges etc. Nice Venetian building and excellent breakfast room. Olga (the dog) was a character and the cat was lovely.
Nothing much. A bit hard to find first off. Maybe a discrete sign in the Campo Manin or more precise details on the website would be of assistance to arriving guests.
