Gianfranco is a very gracious host at this nice modern B&B in a old building in Arezzo. The location is excellent. There is a well-equipped shared kitchen open to all guests and a single serving espresso machine is available at all hours. Gianfranco sets out a nice continental breakfast in the evening, so it is available for early risers.

Gianfranco takes credit cards, but only if your card has the european style chip...USA Travelers be prepared to pay cash if your card doesn't have a chip. The WiFi was not working, but I believe Gianfranco that this was a temporary unusual condition.

We enjoyed the location. In the centre of Arezzo. Also the owner was helpfull from the moment we booked he contacted us.

The girl who checked us in was not very helpfull, she didn't tell us much or looked interested. The rooms weren't sound proof, I felt like I had to be quiet like I was in somebody's house really. Uncomfortable. It did not feel like the normal kind of B&B's we book. The breakfast was poor; nothing fresh, no croissant only toast etc. And we did not like the 'free parking' that we booked. We had to walk 800M to the B&B and if we were unlucky there was no free parking left because it was a public parking lot. This was not mentioned before.

Great location in the medieval centre of Arezzo within walking distance of the main attractions. The place is pleasantly quiet, as there isn't much traffic in this area.

Though it is surrounded by historic buldings, this one might just date back to the 1960s, so don't expect any antique flair.
