Very helpful and pleasant staff. They provided very useful information about the area and where to eat especially. Being so close to most of the main places of interest we could get there early and miss the crowds.

Not a lot. The only problem was that our room safe was not working and although we reported this, it was not fixed.

The location was great, place was clean and coffee good!

The bed was hard, tended to hear street noise but not like London standards! Bathroom adequate but very small

Location is excellent for exploring Ravenna. Our room was typical Europe size, including very small shower. Our room faced the street and we could hear "some" street noise. Typical breakfast but eggs cost extra. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Best is location!

We should have changed rooms because our shower was just open, with a shower curtain. We were only there overnite. We are not big people so we made it work, but could not turn around or move. It needed a good bleaching of mold, however. Met a couple next moring that had been given our room and they did change.

superb central location and wonderful personalised service. they were thoughtful in arranging better accommodation for our family of 4 than what we had pre-booked. the rooms were spacious and we enjoyed the large TVs. beds were very comfortable.

Excellent value-for-money: The room has a very good apparence and the breakfast is also above the line ofr a 3-star hotel. Not to talk about the location: perfect for those traveling as tourist or even for business purposes, once it is near to all the amasing Ravenna restaurants.

The hotel is only a few steps from the central square and in walking distance to all the sights. It's a modern hotel without a lot of charm, but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit on the small side and there was some noise from the street neither of any real significance.

Relaxing. Friendly, helpful staff. Good decor. Room (opted for next step above economy room) was decent size with good decor and decent bathroom.

By Italian standards, the morning coffee was poor. But if you like American chain coffee shops it's probably ok.

Provided good accomodation though smallish room. Provided gluten-free food for my husband at breakfast.

Wi-Fi didn't work on our I-pad.

Our room was updated and very chic. Leather fixtures balcony French door in bath... Bath as well as shower. Everything we needed.. Eg.outlet plugs for recharging 2 pillows. Good reading light and lots of restaurants nearby. Bright and cheery. Lorraine from Michigan

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff who made the stay there an absolute pleasure; terrific location right in the middle of the old town (couldn't have been better), yet totally silent at night. The room's aircon was very efficient. Excellent value for money.

Our room (no 54) was quite small and the window was high in the wall, which gave it a rather dark, cell-like feel, and the shower was small with a curtain that tended to stick to you when in it. We saw a nicer twin room in the same corridor and with hindsight we should have asked to move to it as the sign on the wall said it was the same price as ours. The staff were so helpful I feel sure they would have obliged, but as we were out so much and only went to the room to sleep it wasn't a big deal. The beds are a little firm but OK to get used to (however I do like really soft beds), and the pillows a bit hard, but they supplied us with some softer ones immediately we asked.

The location was ideal for a visit to Ravenna; the hotel staff were extremely helpful in all matters including train schedules, haircuts and dining. I would recommend this hotel with no problems.

Not much but I suppose that some people would think the room I stayed in a bit small, but for me it was perfect.

I. Injured my knee and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. They called a taxi for a visit to the ER and provided an ice pack for my knee.

In the center of the city. Nice friendly staff. Good Breakfast!

Excellent large comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, very good breakfast, perfect inner city location in Centro Storico next to the main piazza. Easy walking to all the mosaic sites, Dante's Tomb, fruit and vegetable Market, shops etc.

The warm welcome and efficiency of the staff. The rooms are just great and the Byron hotel is at the very heart of Ravenna, 5 mn from all what is to be seen (especially for the museums and mosaics)

Staff super friendly and mostly helpful, especially the ladies who cleaned the room and served breakfast--which, by the way, was plentiful and good.

The "economy" room's a/c wasn't very good--moved to a "standard" room, which was somewhat better.

Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. An easy walk from the railway station and close to all Ravenna's main sights. Our early checkout was accommodated with an early breakfast, which made all the difference to a long train journey.

Location Location Location! Fanatstic just to walk out of the door and be in the middle of the old city. Very helpful staff and free wifi

Breakfast was good but the cold meats and milk etc were not on chilled plates and so were sitting on the table from early morning which concerned me. Shower was over the bath with no curtain or screen so it was difficult not to flood the floor! Otherwise great.
